Chapter 13- Midterms!

Exams finished days ago and today was the results. I entered the class by myself today, as soon as I entered I saw the confident looks on the students as they smiled.

"I'm pretty sure I aced this test!" Ike said in a loud voice with yamauchi joining, sudo though looked quite worried but he still smiled. I mean after all he messed up his English exams.

And there was still that conversation we had with Chabashira-Sensei, if no one failed they will get a good summer vacation. Though I know what's gonna happen.

I greeted ayanokoji like usual and Horikita too, surprisingly I talked with her after a certain 'big brother' trying to attack his sister.

Class 3 A

"Achoo~" manubu sneezed as he rubbed his nose.

"Did you get a cold horikita-kun?" Tachibana his secretary asked as she handed him a tissue.

"Thank you. I don't think so." Manubu said as he wiped his nose, while sensing that someone is talking about him.

"Are you confident you're going to pass Kageyama-kun? Especially your Japanese history?" Horikita asked with a firm tone as I nodded.

"Take a chill pill Horikita, I'll probably pass." I said with a grin as I showed a thumbs up.

"Good. If not…." She said showing a compass as I shivered and nodded my head.

Soon walking into the classroom, Chabashira-sensei looked around the classroom in surprise. Everyone was waiting in suspense for the results of the midterms.

"Sensei. I heard that the results will be released today, but when exactly?" Hirata immediately stood up and asked.

"There's no need for you to be that excited about it, Hirata. You probably passed."

"When will they be released?"

"Well, now is a good time. There isn't much time for certain procedures if we did it after school."

At the words "certain procedures", some of the students had a visible reaction.

"What... what do you mean?"

"Don't be confused. I'll explain it now."

After all, this school likes to explain the details all at once.

She stuck the paper with everyone's names and scores on the board.

"Honestly, good job. I didn't think this class would do this well. In math, Japanese, and social studies, there were over 10 perfects."

Soon she started explaining and it went the same way as in the anime and light novel.

Ayanokoji POV

"Sensei." I said now facing Chabashira-sensei in front of me, smoking a cigarette.

"Ayanokoji? What are you doing here? Classes are going to start soon." She said in a stern tone as she looked at me.

"Sensei, is it fine if I asked you one question?"

"A question? Is that why you ran after me?"

"I have something to ask of you."

"And what is it?"

"Do you think that today's Japanese society is fair?"

"My, my what quite interesting question." She said as she seemed amused.

"Well it's pretty obvious today's Japanese society isn't fair." Chabashira-sensei said as I nodded.

"Yeah, you're right. No matter how positively you look at it, the world is an u fair place. However we are humans that can think and act." I said to her as she seemed a bit confused.

"What are you trying to say?"

"I'm trying to say it should seem equal at least."

"I see…."

"It doesn't matter whether or not 'forgetting' to tell us was on purpose. However, it's a fact that one person is now being forced to leave the school because of those unequal conditions."

"What do you want me to do?"

"That is why I came to you. I want to meet with the school, who is perpetuating this inequality."

"To say you don't agree?"

"I just want to confirm the school's decisions with the right people."

"Sadly, even though you aren't wrong, I cannot let you. Sudou will drop out. It'll be very difficult to overturn that ruling at this time. Give up."

She ignored my argument. But that doesn't mean there's no meaning in her words

As expected, this person is someone who always has a hidden implication in her words.

"Please sell me one point for sudo's English test." I said as she burst out laughing.

"Sensei, you said so on the first day. There's nothing that can't be bought by private points in this school. The midterm is one such thing in this school."

"I see, your right but do you even have the money to pay me?" She asked with a smirk as I didn't how to respond, I had around 60,000 private points left, I hope it's not that expensive.

"How much is it?" I asked as she smiled.

"Hm let's see… I'll give you a point for 100,000 private points." I take my words back and it seems Chabashira-sensei really wants to get rid of sudo.

"Sensei, you're cruel."

"– I'll also pay." A voice came from behind me. Turning around, I saw Horikita standing there.

"Horikita…."

"Haha. As I though both of you are interesting." Chabashira sensei said as she was about to both of our cards Horikita gave hers and held my hand.

"I'll pay for it." She said as both me and Chabashira-sensei looked at her.

"Do you have the enough amount to pay?" Chabashira-sensei asked as she nodded.

"A certain black haired bastard gave me 100,000 points so I'm using it." She said 'a certain black haired bastard' kage-

"Achoo!" I sneezed as I wiped my nose.

"You okay, Kageyama-kun?" Kushida asked as I smiled.

"I'm fine thank you for asking kushida." I said to her as she nodded smiling.

"Where did Horikita-san go?" Kushida asked as she noticed Horikita wasn't in the class.

"Oh probably to the toilet I guess." I said as she nodded.

"You did really good in your Japanese history test Kageyama-kun." She said as I nodded, I had gotten 100 in four test papers and 90 in Japanese history test.

"Yeah, it's probably thanks to you and Horikita for teaching me. So thank you Kushida." I said with a smile as she blushed and waved her hands.

"Your welcome but I think Kageyama-kun did a good job." She said as I nodded, I looked around the class to see a angry karuizawa looking at me with a pout and sudo who's there stressing and the classroom atmosphere gloomy.

I checked my phone.

Hm they should be here anytime now.

The classroom door slide open as ayanokoji and Horikita entered.

"Sudo, your expulsion has been revoked."

I smiled upon hearing that, I then stretched my arms before looking at Kushida.

Time to finish a quest.
