Continuing The Path

[Merciless Killer- A title gained through the users ability of not caring about what it is about to kill and doing it with pleasure. Grants the immunity of guilt so it makes killing easier giving the user a clear conscious. Also gives the user +1 Hp for every Creature killed that is lower level then the user.]

"Damn I got and Op skill but at what cost" Gem could no longer feel guilt and gains +1 health every time he kills something weaker than him. Gem had a feeling that that this would affect his judgment in the future on certain things.

Maybe it would have been better if he had been more merciful to the rabbit. But in the end who cares it was going to die anyway so why not have a little fun. The weak die and the strong survive it is a kill or be killed world out here so i'm not to blame. Plus i'm a wolf killing is in my nature.

Gem contemplated for a little while longer until he felt it was time to continue searching for his mother.

It sure is beautiful in the forest the trees were shining with vibrant energy, the birds were chirping, and the air was fresh.

It was a good day.

Gem continued to follow his mothers sent it was faint but it was still there. Along the way it seemed that his mother had taken a very stealthy and slow path. It was as if his mother was following something. So from there on out Gem decided it would be better to be more stealthy.

A little while later Gem found the remains of what looked to be a deer but it had white antlers. Gem could tell from the way it was ripped apart something big had done this. But before Gem could leave the area he noticed something shiny was showing from the dead deer's neck.

Gem went to go see what it was and he found that it was a small green gem about he size of a small pebble. Gem poked his nose to the gem.

[Level 12 Albino Deer gem would you like to absorb?]

"Uh, yes?"

[+60 exp]

[+6 levels]

"!"

"What the hell, I just get exp from absorbing gems?" Gem thought. That must mean that the rabbit I ate earlier must have a gem. Or it could be that gems only develop when a creature reaches a higher level.

Hmm.

Interesting.

It was already to late for me to turn back to check the rabbit if it had a gem or not so I guess it would be best to go and continue searching for his mother.

He figured his mother would have started to come back to the cave after finding this kill. But to his surprise the sent trail continued onward into the forest.

What could mother be chasing? It seemed like she was chasing something big. From the way the footprints around him were. Maybe a bear? Mother must be powerful to be following something like that.

I should probably continue following her I am level 6 now so i must be more powerful. That is what he did Gem walked for what seemed like hours until the sun started to set and the world around him became more dark.

"Looks like I will have to find somewhere to rest until daytime" Gem thought. Gem wandered around for a bit before he found a large tree that had a hollowed out base. As he entered the tree he found what seemed to be a sleeping rabbit it looked the same as the other.

Gem carefully approached the rabbit making as little sound as possible. And in one swift motion he bit the rabbits neck making a satisfying crunch sound.

Gem wasn't hungry as he had eaten a few hours ago. So he decided to bury it in next to the tree. Gem brought some brush from a nearby bush to cover the entrance and made a spot comfy.

"Tomorrow I will continue to search for mother and hopefully find her".
