Chapter 9: The Terrifying Family Of Four!

After Yu Chen went crazy from the shocking revelation, about him being a hermaphrodite that night, the Village head, Guo Cheng, came knocking.

"Good night, Mr. And Mrs. Li, the other village heads are here, and they rushed over," said Guo Cheng. Li Jie looked at the sly man with displeasure.

'They could not wait huh!' Li Jie thought. Before he could say anything, his wife spoke first.

"OK. So where will we have the meeting?" Jia Li inquired. Guo Cheng, as if anticipating this, smiled. Likewise, Jia Li offered him the most heartwarming smile that would put others to their demise.

"Of course at my residence, if there is no problem," Guo Cheng replied with a gentle smile that reached his eyes, but behind this facade lurks an inhumane son of a gun.

'This man could rival any noble or aristocratic when it comes to pretending, scheming, and shrewdness,' Jia Li thought still smiling brightly.

"OH and bring your son, Yu Chen along," Guo Cheng added. Li Jie looked as if he was about to retort, but his wife spoke first.

"Of course, he will be there," she said with an affiliative smile. After Guo Cheng finished what he came to say, he bid them a good night and went on his way.

"Honey, why do you agree to take Yu'er? We could have just said no!" Li Jie said, infuriated by the outcome. Looking at her husband, she could not help but smile.

"It is OK love. If that sly old man dares to do something to our Yu'er, we will cut him down. We are no pushovers! But to see what this old dog is up to, we have to make him feel like we are playing his game, and in his palm," Jia Li said as he caressed her husband's face. She slowly started to fondle his well-shaped body.

Not expecting this reaction, Li Jie stood there like a log while Jia Li was breathing fire like a fire dragon. After about three minutes, Li Jie came around, but his wife was already gone.

After Guo Cheng left Li's household, he was on his way back to inform the other village heads, when a silhouette emerged from the shadows.

"OH?" the thirteenth elder remarked with a sly smile. He was getting really interested in this beautiful trash Delta.

'Yesterday? The Emissary gave orders yesterday. Is this a mere coincidence?' the thirteen elder thought with suspicion.

"Now, this is interesting!" he said with a manic grin. Guo Cheng with his head still down, grinned triumphantly as if he had achieved his goal.

"Alright. I'll have to see this beauty myself," he suddenly vanished just as he came. As the thirteenth elder left, Guo Cheng stood up patting the dust away from his clothes, and sneered.

"So how are we going to settle this!? My son was nearly crushed to death! His bones in his right hand were shattered! His meridians were almost destroyed!" Yelled the village head of Nanjie, Wang Ping enraged.

Jia Li and Li Jie just sat there listening to the countless rants. At the moment, the three village heads and their children, the couple, Yu Chen and Xiao Feng were all gathered at Guo Cheng's residence, around a very large table.

"My Daughter would have died if not for village head Guo! You have to give us an explanation!" The village head of Guoliang Village, Yi Han, chimed in.

"We should give you an explanation? But are your children innocent? Did they not do anything to cause Yu'er, raging star power?" Jia Li retorts.

The village heads were all silent. They knew it was their children who went to find trouble with Yu Chen, but who would want to lose face? None!?

"What? Not going to talk? Cat got your tongues?" She added tauntingly, delivering a verbal blow. Wang Ping and Yi Han's faces were terrible. It was as if they stepped in poop. The scene was almost comical.

'Dang! Savage!' Yu Chen thought in his mind. Trying hard to stifle any laughter threatening to come out.

'Why is the sly old man so quiet? It's weird,' Yu Chen thought as he turned to look at Guo Cheng. But what Yu Chen was not expecting was that Guo Cheng was already gaping at him. Yu Chen, feeling uneasy, shifts his gaze.

He was thankful that he had a cold face, or else his emotion would be clearly written on his face, which could be troublesome.

'Why do these old geezers stare at me like that? Fuck! It's like they want to devour me!' Yu Chen shivered from his thoughts.

'Knock! Knock!'

"Hello, Mr and Madam Li, please come in," Guo Cheng said as he led them to enter. Glancing behind the couple, what he saw left him paralyzed in fear, awe, and shock.

They could not believe their eyes. Even the village head, Yu Han, and her daughter, Ju Hong were having problems controlling themselves. Yu Chen could be the embodiment of an entire continent's destruction.

'How dangerous!' was everyone's thoughts.

"Ahem! Can we get to business?" Jia Li said with eyes so sharp that they could cut through even space. Everyone shivered under that intense gaze.

"Ahem, yes! Let's get down to it!" Guo Cheng said as he broke the ice, and led the discussion.

"I got to understand, that your children tend to bully our Yu'er because he has no star power. Even using vulgar words and actions," Jia Li stated as he stared at a particular boy. Under that terrifying gaze, Zixian shifted in his seat, uncomfortably breaking in sweat.

He could feel the subtle killing intent in Jia Li's gaze. Sweating profusely, he started to fiddle with his fingers. Wang Ping realizing what was happening to his son, released his star power pressure to block the foreign pressure on his body and for him to breathe better.

"You Dare!" Wang Ping yelled in rage. But Jia Li was unfazed. She stared Wang Ping directly in the eyes.

"Why don't I dare?" Jia Li said calmly, her voice resonating in the room like a harp playing a mellow tune. Everyone was quickly taken in.

Mesmerized by this jade-like beauty, they could not help but gulp. Scents start to kick up like the smell of various perfumes in one particular place. Yu Chen is a hermaphrodite who could not stand the repulsing scents.

Li Jie, seeing that his son was about to be suffocated to death and the predatory gaze that these filthy commoners were giving his precious wife, made him furious!

"So, what explanations do you all want?" Jia Li said, trying to shift the attention from her husband and getting back to the business, wanting to leave this place as soon as possible.

"What about this? Why not let your son marry my son, and we call it a truce?" Wang Ping said proudly with his chin high. It was like he had forgotten what just happened seconds ago.

'So this ugly bastard is looking to eat swan food?' Jia Li thought with undisguised disdain across her beautiful face.

"This brat! When your elders are speaking, you don't speak," Wang Ping said, trying to daunt Xiao Feng by putting pressure on him. Witnessing someone trying to hurt Xiao Feng for the second time, Yu Chen was furious.

"What is this Ole thing? How dare you daunt my little brother! Do you have a DEATH WISH!" In one instance, the ambiance shifted to a biting cold temperature.

It was as if the guest room shifted to the coldest place in the world at -98 degrees. The entire area turned to ice.

'Kill! Kill! They dared to destroy your family! Kill!' the voices in Yu Chen's mind were erupting like a volcano.

"Yu'er!"

"Yu'er!"

"Gege!"

"Mom, Dad, Xiao Feng? What happened?" Yu Chen asked in confusion. Looking around him, he saw that everyone was frozen to a human popsicle. He was alarmed.

'Did I do this?' Yu Chen was terrified of himself.

"It's OK now, Yu'er. It's ok," Jia Li said as she hugged him close, trying to reassure him. Meanwhile, Li Jie was busy melting the ice from the others, but it was harder than he imagined.

He never expected that his flame, which could burn an entire continent to ashes, could barely melt ice, its natural nemesis. He could not believe it. Yu Chen's mother, Yue Ming Lian, was exceptionally strong, but this power...this ... .Yu Chen is a monster!

Li Jie's mind was in chaos. After about ten minutes or so, Li Jie successfully melted the ice. Not wanting to stay there any longer, Jia Li decided to compensate them for yesterday's and today's occurrence.

"Let's end this here. I will compensate each of you with silver star coins. Share it amongst yourselves," Jia Li said as she removed an intricate pouch from her robes and threw it on the table. She then bid them farewell and left with her family.

The village heads, their sons and daughter, could not fathom what had just happened. But one thing they knew was, that the Li family was extremely dangerous and they should stay away from them!
