Knock! Knock! "Mr. Yu?" Said Shen Yue gently.

"Come," Yu Chen replied aloofly. Shen Yue gently opened the door and went in. Seeing her boss busy with the documents she brought in one hour ago, she immediately stated her business, not wanting to waste her boss's time.

"Mr. Yu, it is time to get off work now, and Mr. Hu said he would like to have dinner with you today at 7." She responded professionally.

"Hmm!" Yu Chen mumbled, reading the documents, pretending to be busy working and trying to hide his excitement. Unfortunately, that doesn't work on Shen Yue.

"So you guys are finally dating!?" Out of nowhere, Shen Yue excitedly asked.

Yu Chen was struck frozen. 'Why is this little girl so straightforward? Where is your previous professionalism?' he thought, at a loss for words.

"Ahem! Do you want to work overtime?"

He replied aloofly, but his flushed cheeks conveyed otherwise. Shen Yue instantly stiffened, curtly bowed to show her respect, and turned around, heading towards the door. She stopped in her tracks when the stoic-faced Yu Chen responded to her previous question.

"No... we….uhm…..we haven't started....dating yet, but soon," he responded shyly, with a cold face. After saying the word dating, the blush went straight from his neck to his ears. Not wanting Shen Yue to see his flushed face, he quickly whipped his head back to the documents. Unfortunately for him, Shen Yue already witnessed his blushing mess and is now having inner turmoil.

'OMG! My boss is so cute! I want to pinch his cheeks! Calm down! You don't want to work overtime.' Shen Yue reprimanded herself, trying to prevent her fujoshi side from taking over.

"Really? Well, I will be leaving now. Please Enjoy your date!" She said teasingly, walking to the door.

"Looking at him now, he looks more human. I wish you warmth and happiness, Yu Chen," whispered Shen Yue with a loving look in her eyes, before closing the door.

"Ha! Why does she seem more excited than me?" He thought, chuckling at her childishness. But Yu Chen was more excited than Shen Yue, looking like a cool tomato. Get it? An iceberg with a redneck and face! Ahem.... anyway. For the next 30 minutes, Yu Chen carefully went over the remaining documents and signed what needed to be signed. He ran through his computer, to check for any new emails. Seeing that there wasn't any more work left to do. He looked at the time.

'It is now 5:45 pm, I think I should rest for a bit before meeting Baihu,' he thought, trying to contain his delight. Taking off his outer coat, he placed it behind his office chair. He leaned back in the office chair to get comfortable. After thinking about countless ways he could confess his love to Baihu, his eyelids slowly and tiredly droop down over his eyes.

"Am I this tired?" Was his last words before drifting to the valley of slumber.

"Hagshjoinegsubwhsihe...."

"Shh! Shh! You are going to wake him up!" said someone, reprimanding the crowd.

"Look at how adorable he is!" Whispered someone else.

"Who dares to wake me up from my precious sleep? I doubt my eyes were closed for 15 minutes," Yu Chen thought angrily. Upon hearing the clamorous chatter continuing, Yu Chen tried to open his eyes, but they were as heavy as a locked window closed for three years that nobody could pry open. Getting panicked that his eyes couldn't be opened, he attempted opening his eyes again, before they were finally open.

"Huff! He breathes a sigh of relief before getting back to the root problem.

"Gah ago hu da ga aah got ahh egi" ( Shen Yue? What is wrong with my eyes and who is making such a ruckus in my company?) was what Yu Chen wanted to yell, but what came out of his mouth left him utterly terrified. Trying to understand the situation, he tried talking again, but what he uttered was the same nonsense. Probing his surroundings to understand the situation, his eyes were suddenly blinded by a bright sun glare. Fortunately, someone saw that he was about to be blinded to death by the sun's glares and obstructed the light. Squinting his eyes to see what was obstructing the light, and what he saw left him awestruck.

"Who is this fairy?" Yu Chen thought, utterly astounded. A beautiful woman was looking back at him. She's adorned in a gorgeous blue sparkly robe with intricate embroidery, and beautiful exquisite ornaments decorating her hair and body. Her pale skin complements her hair, which is as white as snow when the light shines on it, but in the dark, it is as gray as the moon.

Just like Yu Chen, her eyes resemble the depth of the ocean. But unlike Yu Chen's, there is no loneliness, darkness, or ominous feeling when looking into the depth of her eyes. He could only see warmth and love in her eyes. Her eyes have a remarkable impact on Yu Chen's body and mind, ushering him into a state of serenity and relaxation, causing him to feel like there is nothing in the world that can bring him harm. In the 30 years of his life, this was the first time he felt this type of warmth and protection from someone who was not Baihu.

"Wait, why am I feeling so sleepy? Didn't I just wake up? I haven't even asked any questions yet! Where am I? Who are you? What happened to me?" Yu Chen cried, feeling frustrated and anxious.

But, "Hnggh ah ghu hagu hnn waa." Is what came from his mouth.

"Shsh! It's OK Yu'er! Mom is here, it's going to be alright," said the beautiful woman, swaddling the anxious and frustrated Yu Chen. Stunned by her words and her beautiful smile, Yu Chen could do nothing but stare deeply into eyes that were so familiar to him yet so unfamiliar at the same time. The reassurance she gave Yu Chen made his eyelids droop further down. Upon remembering that he seemed to have forgotten something important, he was trying to stay awake but it was all in vain.

"Baihu! I have a date with Baihu," Yu Chen suddenly said, before falling into the valley of slumber once again.
