"Dad! Dad!" A frantic yet gleeful voice sounded through the great halls.
"Young Master! Shh! After a day of crying, the Lord has just placed the Young Miss to sleep. Be careful not to cause much commotion and get scolded by Lord Lin," an elderly woman standing at the Great Hall door said, reprimanding Lin Rulan in a calm voice.
"Oh, I'm sorry, Aunt Liu," Lin Rulan responded to Liu San with an apologetic smile and a slight bow.
"Just wait here for the Lord. He'll soon be out," Liu San added as she watched as Lin Rulan pecked his head like a chicken.
'This silly boy,' Aunt Liu thought as she scrutinized Lin Rulan, who seemed to have been bewitched as he was flushing and blushing standing there. Liu San nearly got scared as she watched her Young Master's unusual behavior.
'Was the Young Master bullied outside? Or was he bewitched by some demons? No, I have to check!' Liu San thought with squinted eyes.
