Chapter 1: An Unexpected Beginning

*sigh*

"Why is life boring? I've only been able to reach the Liquid Stage of the 5th Rank. I should've become a Rank 6 by now." I muttered to myself as I sat on my throne within my Palace.

I had reincarnated into this world and had spent the last several hundred years cultivating.

During that time I had taken my time and not rushed things, accumulating power as I slowly built the foundation of my own Sect.

When i woke up in this world i had actually transmigrated into the body of a man that was originally apart of the Starlight Sect of the Utra Nation.

Yep, I was reborn into the Cultivation Novel, Birth Of The Demonic Sword.

The body of which I inhabit is Tallon Luminous, the son of the current Patriarch of the Luminous Family and Starlight Sect, Lilith Luminous, a Rank 5-Solid stage Cultivator.

I had awoken inside of an dark casam of some kind since that was literally where I woke up, don't know how else to state the obvious.

Based on the memories of the original owner of the body at that time before my transmigration.

He had been loved by his family deeply, he also had a prodigy sister called Jade.

The previous owner was the twin older brother of Jade, but despite that, she was a prodigy compared to him and had reached the middle tier of being a Rank 4 Cultivator when he was still a Rank 2.

Eventually, despite the families best efforts to help further his cultivation from Rank 3 of the Human Ranks and into the Heroic Ranks of Rank 4, he had hit his limit.

Out of desperation and failure after decades going by with no advancement, the previous owner had turned to alcoholism, drugs and became a walking mess.

He had even gone to Slyfall City where the Duel Cultivation Sect was and with no suprise, his Cultivation was stolen.

When Jade found him, she was disappointed at his own actions and didn't bring him back this time as she normally would.

Jade in the past would try to cheer him up and help him to quit being a drug addict and having constant sex with prostitutes but he would always ignore her. Despite that, Jade never showed disgust or pity but a gentle smile while trying to help him.

But the previous owner's inferiority complex and jealously caused him to ignore her and eventually go to Slyfall City.

While he was a Water attribute Cultivator, Jade was a Light attribute Cultivator.

The Luminous Family was known for having a strong Bloodline and lineage to give birth to Light Attribute Cultivators.

I can only wonder what happened to the Luminous Family in the original story since a family with that much fame would be identified. Most likely they were destroyed by the time the MC Noah Balvan was born.

When the Previous Body's Owner returned home, no-one spoke to him nor greeted him and only had disappointment on their faces.

Lilith said that now that his Cultivation was stolen by his own recklessness, he can't Cultivate and has no choice but to look for a different path in life on his own because all this was his fault to begin with.

After that they didn't talk to him anymore until he "proved himself".

I knew what was meant by that. But the previous soul didn't, he thought they betrayed and was abandoning him.

In his memories Jade and Lilith was very loving and caring and I knew they wanted him to do something else. 

Much like how Heaven and Earth revealed that had Noah Balvan not cultivated, he would have had a living family, wife and children while becoming a valued member in the family.

Even his father didn't hate him and lived him greatly in the alternative timeline Noah had seen of himself.

The alternate Noah died peacefully surrounded by his loved ones and family.

That is exactly what Jade and Lilith want for the Previous Soul but he was jealous and saw himself a failure in their eyes.

He tried speaking to them but they ignored him.

He felt regret, despair, inferiority, disgust of himself, anger and wanted vengeance on the ones that stile his Cultivation. More and more emotions bottled deep inside him which led him to his death.

The past body's soul had accidentally stumbled upon an inheritance ground and decided to try and claim it since it seemed simple with only one test.

It turned out the test was rigged from the start, making it so that only the "dead" can pass through and claim the inheritance.

I had then transmigrated into the body at that time and been able to seize the inheritance thanks to the test having been "passed".

Additionally, upon the my "Death" the spirit of the Rank 7 Water Cultivator that made the inheritance had restored my bodies ability to Cultivate while giving me his entire inheritance.

After that I didn't return to the Starlight Sect but instead decided to leave. It was pointless in my staying there so I hid my identity and joined the Archipelago.

The Luminous Family is one of the Sects that hold great political sway over the other factions in the Utra Nation that King Elbas rules over.

If I stayed there then the Royals would catch wind of me at some point and that was a big no as opposing Elbas' command is not something I can do...yet.

And so I had joined Divine Demon's underground organisation, The Hive.

Divine Demon was still in the Mortal Lands for a hundred or so years, I did have to swear the Oath to jot betray The Hive but I'll eventually broke free of it once I became a Rank 5 Cultivator.

By then I had left The Hive since it served no purpose for me to stay there anymore.

During the time I stayed in the Archipelago, I had rallied together many individuals to follow me and form a new Sect.

Using all the knowledge I had of future events and creatures, I made sure to obtain a copy of the notes for the Blood Companion Inscription technique Noah Balvan will one day find in the Snake Valley.

I however, had stealthily made a copy of it while modifying the original so that Noah would think I was the Techniques creator while helping him slightly.

Obviously I didn't directly write my identity, but I did hint to it. This will make him hesitant to provoke nor antagonise me for a good while.

Last thing, when Raving Demon betrayed The Hive and fled, I had my loyal followers infiltrate Ravaging Demon's secret organisation in the Papral Nation in the recent few decades and converted many of them over to my own Sect.

And that brings us up to speed with all events from when I transmigrated all the way up to now.

*knock* *knock*

The two guards outside the Throne Room, at the large and ornate double doors of crystalline material, opened the doors to let in the visitor.

Two more guards were on the inside mimicking the ones on outside.

The visitor entered and was revealed to be one of my servants.

"Ariel, what is it you have to report?" I asked to the girl in white ninja apparel.

She is one of my most devoted followers, my closest aide and bodyguard, however this time I had sent her to scout the surroundings of my territory as I had received some rather strange reports in recent days.

"Master, there was a commoner girl within ashen-colored hair that was fighting against some Rank 1 to Rank 3 beasts on the outskirts of your domain."

"Okay~...continue..." I replied a little confused by how she didn't fully say everything as she normally would.

"Yes, well...she was strange. She isn't a Cultivator and doesn't have any defenses for her Sea of Conciousness (Mind). Thus, I was effortlessly able to read her mind without harming her."

Well that's good.

"So what did you learn from her mind?" I asked, genuinely interested on what would have Ariel act like this.

"Uh, she seems to not be from our world but another one entirely. She says her name is Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon, Princess of Cintra..."

"...WHAT?!"

What is the meaning of this?!
