Chapter 2: Elderblood
"Where is she now?!" I screamed at Ariel wanting to ease my worry.
"I had brought her with me, she's been drugged, her perculiar movement Technique proved a problem for a while. She is sedated right now so she doesn't use it again to escape."
'Well that's a relief.' I thought to myself as I let out a sigh.
Ciri is from the Witcher game Universe and has the Elderblood Gene allowing her to teleport across Space and Time into other worlds.
The thought never crossed my mind since my rebirth to leave and go to other worlds. I knew that Heaven and Earth would instantly target me if I attempted to leave this Universe.
Heaven and Earth had failed the breakthrough into becoming a Rank 10 being.
As such they created the Tribulation system to hamper the growth of Cultivators.
The Tribulation would also target anomalies that fall outside of Heaven and Earth's system of control.
Prime examples is the main character, Noah Balvan's attempts in becoming a Hybrid to enhance his body and overall capabilities.
Everytime he tried making a Hybrid with the Slaves he purchased, Heaven and Earth would send far stronger Tribulations to destroy them.
Even entirely new species, like when Noah used his Darkness Element upon becoming a Rank 7 being, in order to create suitable and an entirely new race of Magical Beast for his inheritance he would one day make and leave in the Mortal Lands.
Heaven and Earth tried to destroy the new species.
The next is Magical Beasts themselves, they had been hampered and weakened by Heaven and Earth making it harder for Magical Beasts to rise up in the Ranks.
Similar to creatures like the Cursed Dragon Species that Noah uses to become a Hybrid with and had the ability to absorb light from the surroundings to charge a powerful breath attack. Heaven and Earth cursed this particular dragon species so that it became wingless and had a near non existent chance to reproduce.
The last example is when a being reaches Rank 9, Heaven and Earth will directly make contact with the individual wanting to make the individual loyal to them and surrender their Laws.
A Law is essentially an Dao or metaphysical concept of one's existence and the personification of their desire to cultivate and inner power.
One requires to develop their Law in order to advance to the 6th Rank and further development of this Law will allow them to become a Rank 9 being eventually.
An Individuality is the first version of a Law which Rank 4 Heroic Cultivators need to advance. Upon reaching Rank 6 and Rank 7 the Individuality will become a Law.
As for me, I still have mine as an Individuality and need to develop it into a Pseudo-Law in order to become a Rank 6 being.
Heaven and Earth is such a pain, without my fear of them I would have been able to become a Hybrid by now.
However, I had put of this project for a while until I was ready.
Additionally, I had created a copy of Divine Demon's "Divine Deduction Technique" which acts like an non sentient Artifical Intelligence in the kind of the user.
It's kind of a passive ability that when activated will use all its ability to understand, comprehend and solve anything the user wants.
Example, if I want to know the Inscriptions used on a weapon, my Divine Deduction Technique will analyse the Inscriptions first, copy and memorise them and then deconstruct them allowing me to know how to make it in the future myself and also know everything about the Inscriptions used, the pros and cons and how to counter them and so on.
It's really OP and had helped me to advance in all my endeavours over the years since I reincarnated.
I arrive at the room Ciri was within and found her tied up while unconscious.
Before I woke her up I took some of her blood and used the Divine Deduction Technique to analyse the Elderblood i had extracted.
It took a few minutes to analyse.
Now I was able to utilise the Elderblood itself and teleport to another universe.
However, just as I was going to use the ability of the Elderblood I Telekineticly held, I could feel the power of Heaven and Earth's Heavenly Tribulation forming dark clouds above my location.
I stopped trying to use the Elderblood, because if I had used it I would only suffer the consequences before I was able to activate it and leave this world.
Instead, i activated the [Shadow Copy] Spell. A spell that requires only Mental energy to use and is not restricted to a certain elemental attribute type, allowing anyone to learn it so long as they have the copy of the spell scroll to learn from.
However, my [Shadow Copy] was different as I have modified it with my Divine Deduction Technique to be far greater.
My modified [Shadow Copy] is capable of making a perfect clone of my own body, with the ability for me to connect to it like a Hive Mind.
Thus, if I can't leave this world, my copy can!
When my [Shadow Copy] appeared out of thin air, I could instantly feel my connection to it.
It never stops being weird to look at one's self through two sets of eyes.
Ignoring the feeling, I gave the Elderblood to the [Shadow Copy] before it promptly disappeared from sight in a turquoise flash.
I smiled at the success of the loophole I thought off, Heaven and Earth can't take action this way. That's good.
Turning to face Ciri I raised my hand and effortlessly erased the sedative liquids that coursed within her body.
Moments later, she groggily awoke from her deep slumber.
She momentarily looked confused before worry spread on her face, she took in her surroundings before letting in a sigh of relief.
Most likely because she wasn't captured by the Wild Hunt and was still somewhere safe. Though she didn't let her guard down yet.
"You can calm down, I don't mean you any harm. If I did, you wouldn't have woken up at all." I said to the young Witcher in training.
"What do you mean? Who are you? And where am I?" Ciri asked nervous if I was a friend or foe.
"What I mean is that I could have kept you permanently sedated in a deep endless sleep if I had chosen to. As for where you are and who I am. You already know the answer yourself. Considering since you have teleported to my domain from whatever world you previously came from, whilst also causing all the creatures in my territory to run rampant causing the whole ecosystem to go out of control. But if you want to know if I am someone you can trust, then yes, as I have no desire to bring you harm. My name is Tallon Luminous, I am the Patriarch of the Niflheim Sect. If you don't know what that means, just know I am basically the Lord and main Ruler of my Faction. The only one that is higher than me in power and authority are those that control the continent themselves."
Ciri took in what I said and didn't act hastily. She was shocked when I revealed I knew she was from another world but there was nothing she could do, she wasn't able to use her power properly to escape due to her hazzy mind.
"I-..."
"I know you must be confused right now. Take some time to rest. And no need to explain yourself, my subordinate had rudely looked at you memories. She informed me of everything. I know that this "Wild Hunt" organisation is chasing you for your blood. You are my guest and as such you will be protected here. If your worried that we would experiment on you for your blood, then you have nothing to fear. This world is different from the one you come from, power is easily obtained in this world. While the ability over Space and Time is appealing most in this world, I have no need of it since I can easily aquire it one day through my own efforts. I will visit you once you have recovered." I said before I departed from the room leaving Ciri to contemplate over my words.
Once I was far enough I turned to Ariel with a serious face.
"Don't let anyone learn about her, give her this ring and put this Liquid in her drink. The liquid will track her while she's within this world's boundaries and the ring will protect her mind from other's probing it. Make sure the Royals and King Elbas never find out about her."
"Yes sir." Ariel said with a emotionless face, understanding the seriousness in my orders.
If King Elbas ever finds out about Ciri's blood, who knows what he is capable of. The man was able to make a portal to another world with a Black Flower that had Spatial properties.
What if he used Ciri's blood which has Spatial and Temporal properties?
While it is enticing to know, it isn't worth it considering he would crush me like an ant and take Ciri by force if he learns of her existence.
