Chapter 3: In search of answers

Marcus ascended slowly, his mind still trying to make sense of the strange situation he found himself in. He had been transported to the world of Twilight fanfiction, and Jasper Whitlock, one of the main characters, was standing in front of him in what seemed to be his own subconscious.

"So, is this real?" Marcus asked, looking around in disbelief.

Jasper ascended. "Yes, this is real, and guided by what I could read of your thoughts that were truly shocking, we have just become what you know as a vampire, and it seems this world hides many more secrets than I could have ever known or imagined ".

Marcus stood up, still feeling a little dazed. "But how did I get here? I was in my room reading your story and suddenly..."

Jasper interrupted him gently. "It seems that you were dragged here by some unknown force. We don't know how or why but seeing the circumstances we find ourselves in and seeing how you are the one who has control of my body, it is somewhat disconcerting, I will definitely do it". We have to help you and find these answers along the way and what we don't know.

Marcus appreciated Jasper's willingness to help him. Although he was still wondering why he wasn't angry with him since he was the one who stole his body, so wanting to resolve the guilt he felt he asked him "You shouldn't be angry with me, after all, it's me." Someone who just appeared out of nowhere and took your body, if that were my case I would be hysterical."

At that moment, Jasper couldn't contain his laughter, leaving Marcus even more bewildered. Seeing Marcus's confused face, Jasper explained the reason why he wasn't angry. "HaHaHa, my dear friend, I will ask you a question, would it be better for me and you to now start a senseless fight for control of this organism without knowing what the consequences of those actions are or adapting and trying to find a solution? " Solution. A problem of ours? Besides, although I am not happy with the events, I must thank you for what I have seen in your memories, you have just saved me a lot of problems and hardships."

Marcus agreed with Jasper in the end and together they could manage better than being alone, Jasper helped him with his acquired knowledge of war and the army and how to defend himself and Marcus with what he knew of this world, so "What should we do now?
