Smartass Gentleman

The thing my mom told me was that the girl has taken admission in my school and she will study with me in my class. Now after listening that my heart kinda fulfilled of joy as I can now be close to her and make her my friend.

Next day I was getting ready to go to my school. Our door knocked and when I opened she was standing at my doorsteps. She asked me, "Are you ready to go to school? My mom said that you are in my class too, so she said you can go to school with him." I said, "I will be ready in just 2 minutes please come." When she entered inside, my mom saw her and called her and started talking with her. I went into my room and put on my school uniform and packed my school bag, after that we went to school. When we entered our classroom, I told her to sit on a desk, any of them you like to sit but she asked me to sit with her, Generally I sit alone in my class no one wants to sit with me & she was the first one to ask this so I agreed. I went downstairs to fill the water bottles in the recess, and suddenly a boy of my class asked me, "Hey Bro! Girl you are sitting with is new, right?", I said, "Yes, why are you asking?", He said, "Is she your girlfriend?", I Said "No, But why are you asking these stupid questions?" That guy was the wanna be gentleman of our class. He thinks that he is the only person with smartness and he was famous in the school to harrass people with the help of his gang full of idiots. No one has ever complained about them as they are very dangerous and had contacts out of the school too. So his interest in her made me tense because he can harm her too. In the response to my question, he said, "I love her and she is mine."  I said, "Are you Mad? today is her first day in school and you say that you love her." He said, "I love her from the moment I saw her. I saw you sitting with her so I thought she could be your girlfriend." So, my expectation was right, he is now targeting her. We well knew him in school for this, as he has into so many girls and throwed them like a piece of flesh. Now he is onto his next target.

     My anger broke out, but he was very powerful at that time and I had no chance to express my anger so i walked away but this all incident made me tensed and my mind was thinking that should I tell this to her or not as if I tell her right now then she will think that I am interested in her which I was dont want to express, So i remained silent. After that I went to the classroom and gave her water bottle. When we were returning to our houses, she told me that a guy in the class is stalking her. I knew who she was talking about, but I advised her to ignore him as he is a stalker. When her house was near, she asked me to explain to her some chapters that skipped because of her late joining. I was happy to say yes to the proposal. At the end I asked her, " So can I say we are friends now?" She didn't give a proper answer, but she said, " Maybe!".
