RACHEL'S POV

It's been so long since I saw this place, my old workplace. Sanctuary bar. Luckily, nothing has changed since I left. Nothing has changed except me; I wasn't the same person I was back when I used to work here. Back when I was desperate enough for any clue concerning the mystery of my dad's death. 

Now I've gotten all the clues I need and figured out who was behind it all. I went so close to victory and lost everything at the zenith of it all. How could I come so far only to find myself right back where I started? Only this time, all hope is truly gone. 

I've spent basically all my life on this mission, and now that it is obvious to anyone with eyes that I've failed, I don't know what to do with my life anymore. Finding my dad's killers was my one goal in life—the fuel that kept me going and pushing forward despite how many times people tried to put me down.
