Soon enough Tulia left us to ow own devices, which normally would be a problem as we aren't exactly familiar with the place. Thankfully I had engraved the entire guide in my memory, so if they give me some time I could probably work something out.

Apparently, my worries were completely unnecessary when both Elii and Aahin entered the mission hall, the cat and the lizard quickly locating us.

"Hey people, how are you all doing? Tulia said you passed the exam, but not quite... Is everything alright?", Elii greeted us while she asked in a worried tone. PRobably wondering what exactly happened.

Turalion quickly explained everything, and even as someone who does not understand Argonians or Khajiit very well, I could clearly see that both of them were extremely pissed.

Elii was the first to express her anger; "Morel, that fucking bastard! It had to be him.", The Argonian was absolutely fuming at whatever happened, Aahin wasn't much different.

"Khajiit also dislikes the [Silver Circlet] very much. Khajiit wouldn't mind sinking her claws into his stomach and spilling his guts.", wow Aahin was also quite pissed at this Morel.

I know it is probably a touchy subject, but I still need to ask; "Sorry for bringing up such an unpleasant thing. But why is this Morel guy is so hated? the guy is a meddlesome prick alright, that I have no doubt. But if I killed every prick I've come across my body count would be more than double right now.".

Elii takes a deep breath, steeling herself for a bit; "Yeah, if morel was just a prick I wouldn't be as furious, everyone has dealt with their fair doses of pricks in their lives. But more is something even more disgusting, he is a fucking manipulative, blackmailing, Rapist, bastard.", she was basically seething in rage at the last part, thankfully we had chosen quite the deserted corner to talk and the hall was pretty lively so no one paid attention to us, even if our group is slightly unusual.

Aahin put a hand/paw on Elii's shoulder and continued on her behalf; "Aahin and Elii were very, very lucky of being from a Beast Race, and so is probably friend Shuten. Morel has the habit of offering things for young and impressionable females, things in trade for dirty favors.", Aahin was surprisingly able to maintain her calm, and I felt an immense sense of relief that none of my friends was a target. One person more especially.

From us, Turalion was the most pissed of everyone right now, and completely understandably. The bastard probably tried something with Tulia, and she obviously refused, thus their visible hostility towards each other. And for the looks of things, Turalion also connected the dots, and is currently seething in anger.

Altair put a hand on his shoulder as if to try to calm Turalion down, from everyone of us here Altair is probably the one who saw those kinds of situations the most. The job of a sellsword is exactly clean, so he probably saw some fucked up things too.

Me? I am also pretty pissed. Albeit we started with a rocky start, I do consider Tulia my acquaintance, besides she is the sister of a friend so I would help him anyway. It's not because the situation is unjust that will jump at it like some foolish here, that is a deathwish, but that guy definitely has to go.

Shuten was also feeling equal parts relieved and angry at Morel. She probably wants to punch the guy's face until it caves.

Aahin looking at our emotional state; "Do not worry, Kahjiit has heard that [Silver Circlet] Julia is helping. Morel has done more than enough to gather the enmity of every woman in the organization, and probably a lot of other related people as well. Khajiit also heard that [Silver Circlet] Julias is openly antagonizing him, and soon enough we will have a solution.", this brought a general sense of relief to everyone. Turalion still seems a little pissed, but the thought that there is someone openly fighting against the bastard brought some relief to him.

Seeing that everyone started to get so relaxed I decided to step in; "I wouldn't be so relieved if I were all of you. Morel is an [Advanced Master] rank, and if my experience with those is any clue, they are inexplicably difficult to kill, something akin to a cockroach with the strength of a raging minotaur.", this seems to give a gloom mode to everyone, positivity is good, but when positivity becomes naivety a problem is born.

"Besides Morel strikes me as the spoiled young master type, even with his advanced age, and those are one of the most cursed existences I know of. He will probably try to sabotage us in some form or the other, sen goons, pull strings... just because the spoilt brat didn't get what he wanted and now is throwing a tantrum. As bad as this sounds, thankfully we have no family we know of, because that is probably the first thing he would go to, to use it as leverage and blackmail material.", I swiftly described the cliche young master troupe for them without mercy.

Altair seeing some inconsistency asks a question; "But we didn't even do anything to the guy... Heck, we didn't even know his name until a few hours ago.", Altair was genuinely exasperated while asking this question.

"That is the exact problem with spoilt young masters, they want to find any reason to make you bow and serve them, if you bend you already lost. And if your name is Fang or Feng... I can only give you my condolences.", they didn't understand the last part, but they got the gist of it.

Before I forget I decide to also add; "And probably the moment we kill him, his backer will appear wanting vengeance, then his father, then his grandfather, then his ancestor, then the sect founder, then the-", Shuten just put a hand on my shoulders stopping me, when I looked at everyone they had blank looks of confusion on their eyes.

Altair was the first to exit his stupor; "Sooo... what is an [Advanced Master]? It sounds cool and all.. but... I don't exactly know much about cultivation stuff... All I know is that it makes you stronger.", Altair said it rather sheepishly, and looking at everyone they shared some of his doubts. I am honestly not surprised, while they all have some knowledge about cultivation I didn't exactly stop and explained the ranks to them, did I?

"Guess an explanation is in order. Well, you see cultivation can be-", thus I explained in summary how cultivation worked, some of the steps you should take, the rankings and their corresponding strength, how a cultivator have way more vitality than someone normal, enabling them to have bigger lifespans and be a general cockroach to kill. The example was myself, everyone saw the scars, and they all agreed that nothing short of divine intervention could have saved me, but just the fact that I persisted until it is already a miracle by itself.

And Shuten being the most experienced of the group after me being 145 years old. She completely agreed. This was also a piece of good knowledge for her. I even decided to tell the tale of my fight against Subordinate. Killing an [Advanced Master] isn't easy, and my tale clearly illustrated it to them.

"... And the strongest tank that I know of is [Beyond], on this rank you literally reach beyond the limits and plus ultra.", everyone was a bit stunned with this information, understandable, as I just revealed a complete cultivation system to them. I was stunned the first time too.

Giving them some minutes for them to get themselves together I say; "Now it would certainly be interesting to stay here all day long talking about the wonder of cultivation, but we have a test to pass. So we better get going. Besides, I am not in the mood to give an [Advanced Master] as idiotic as he may be, more reasons to antagonize us.", everyone nodded minus Turalion. He seems bothered by something.

"Dude, why aren't you angry? where is the man that delved into an undead-filled dungeon? I-", he was clearly frustrated about it, and none of us blames him. The guy was aiming for his sister.

But I still interrupted him; "It's not that, I am definitely angry, and if I could I would kill that guy in this exact instant. But acting like a foolish hero rushing at things like an idiot will only get us killed. If that shitstain was able to maintain something like this for so long... he undoubtedly has some kind of powerful allies. Or something worse, like a Daedra. If he didn't have anything like that he probably would've fallen long ago. Besides, you heard my tale. You know how difficult is to kill an [Advanced Master], and we have none of the lineup and fortunate circumstances I had the first time.", Besides we need to include magic as a factor here too, [Potions], [Spells], [Enchantments], [Artifacts] all of those can easily change the tides of battle.

Turalion seems a little ashamed of his previous outburst; "Sorry... I didn't mean to-", I immediately raised my hand and stopped him; "Don't worry I understand. She is your sister, your anger is understandable. Just don't let it swallow and control you, let it flow, use it as fuel, but never let it control you... I know all too well where it leads to.", the last part I said in barely a whisper, involuntarily raising a hand to my face... *Sigh*, some scars are really way too deep.

Trying to change from the awkward subject Shuten says; "Now. Let's get ourselves a mission, shall we? It's our first mission and impression, and everyone knows the first impression is the one that counts the most.", She even added a saying at the end to try to lighten the mood.

Seeing as I was partially responsible for this also tried helping Shuten; "Now... How will this job work? I bet Elii and aahin probably can't exactly help us because of their superior ranking as a [Silver Ring], right?".

Both girls nodded and Elii confirmed my suspicions; "Indeed. We can't help you four on your missions. But there is nothing saying we can't be guides, right?", Elii's smirk was so contagious that all of us were smirking at this.

"Normally it would be impossible for a newbie to navigate Silverhood, and while we don't know the Silver Language completely, we do know quite a good amount of it. Good enough to help you four navigate and reach your destination rather easily.", I noded at Elii's words. she may not be able to exactly help us, but that doesn't mean she can't circumvent or outmaneuver some rules.

Quickly we gathered towards the right-side line, but before we could enter on the line I saw a map of sentinel with the corner of my eye. I basically jumped at the chance to engrave a map of the city on my mind, something like this will be incredibly useful.

the map was a mix between simple and detail, it was weird, but it served its purpose. I could see the gates, the port, the market square, the slums, the temple, the residential district, magical district, there was a lot of things really. I was just glad that thanks to this map I won't need people guiding me all the time when I am on the surface.

Soon I went back to the line, Elii, and Aahin explaining some of their room rules to Shuten, who was listening attentively. It does make sense they have some rules, besides they all being of different species, they shared the same room now so some ground rules are good for a start.

Soon enough it was our turn on the line.
