When our turn arrived the receptionist barely looked at us and simply asked; "Rank?".

I flatly answered; "[Silver Coin]", while showing her the coin Tulia gave me.

She simply picked up a small stack of paper and put it on the balcony and continued doing whatever the heck she was doing.

It's honestly refreshing to not have a meddlesome receptionist that would constantly bother me with the dangerous missions I took, over worry about my safety, and fill my ears with her insufferable shit just because I went a little deeper in the dungeon. That troupe is something I personally hate a lot, and actively despise it. Worse than an enemy is a meddlesome fool that doesn't know you trying to dictate your life, that gets old very quickly.

I quickly read all the papers without missing a bit, and I dare to say. The amount of mission we can take as a [Silver Ring] is quite broad, from delivery to robbery, to persuasion, a lot of things really.

But before I could decide on a mission I quickly noticed that the maximum number of members for most of these missions is two... So we have to split the party huh... that sounds bad.

"Well, we have a slight problem here. The maximum number of member for a mission is two, and I didn't find anything that can be done by a [Silver Coin] that have a broader number. Soo we will have to split.", Turalion looked rather thoughtful, while Altair didn't seem to mind. Shuten was actually also reading some of the missions I passed over seemly trying to find one she liked.

"Well, we can decide ou pair by a game of Odd or Even. So who is in?", Everyone muttered in agreement and even Elii and Aahin decided to participate, probably to decide who is going to guide who. I am honestly surprised that they even know what the heck a game of Odds or Even is, but I guess some part of the culture tends to bleed through. Or they are simply smart enough to know what to do by the way I phrased it.

We shook our closed hands mid-air and opened them showing either one or two. Shuten me and Aahin had chosen two. And Turalion, Altair, and Elii picked the one.

"Good, so our groups decided let's choose an appropriate mission.", Everyone nodded and passed the missions between us.

After some time rummaging through the paper we finally decided on two simple missions."Good. So team one has chosen a delivery quest, while we have chosen this debt collecting quest.", both groups seem satisfied with this choice. I am not even a little bit surprised the guild also works as a loan shark organization.

But before we could effectively split ourselves and start the mission I voiced a concern of mine; "Be sure to always be ready, most certainly this first mission won't be as peaceful as it should. People like Morel hate feeling inferior in something so he most certainly is going to try to discharge his hate on us in some way or the other.".

Everyone nodded already aware of something like this, their hands gripped the pommel of their blades tightly. Turalion, in particular, griped it rather tightly, almost breaking it.

"Good. We will see each other in some hours. Bye and good luck.", everyone stated their goodbyes separation in their own groups, Altair decided to say something extra; "Take care Boss. I know you are tough, but you are just a human, like every one of us.", his phrase would make more sense if we weren't the only two humans, if I can still be considered a human with a Dragon Soul, but I digress. I just wanted to point out that this is rather ironic.

Everyone looked funny at Altair for a moment, until he truly understood what he said. He just sheepishly scratched his head and said; "I guess it doesn't sound right... But you got the spirit.", we simply collectively let out low laughs and proceeded to our new destinations.

Giving back the excessive missions towards the receptionist, who barely looked at us for a second before saying; "Delivery mission in on the rightmost pillar, just knock on the door, answer the questions, and you will have the package to be delivered. Just don't mess around with contents, our you will be punished. And trust me, we will know if you do.", after that, she simply went back to doing whatever she was doing while loudly shouting "Next".

Our group swiftly divided, Aahin in the front guiding us. But before we could get far I was able to see with the corner of my eye Tulia, but she appears to be under a [Invisibility] spell. She was following Turalion, of course, guess she is prepared for the inevitable. As expected from a [Master].

Why she isn't worried about us? Because I am here, of course, and while we don't know each other very well she undoubtedly ended I am the strongest of the group. Principally after our talk.

while we walked Aahin chose some apparently random door in the mission hall and strode towards it; "Khajiit will do her best to guide friends. Does friend need help navigating in the city?", she asked probably concerned as both me and Shuten are outsiders so we don't exactly know the city.

"Well, I memorized the map on the mission hall completely. If you explain to me where we are I can probably take care of it.", the map is indeed good, and the guidebook I engraved to memory is also certainly helping.

Shuten a little bit worried asks; "Are you certain? If you forget? If you mistook something?".

I just shake my head and say; "No worry, I have sort of photographic memory, so when I see something... I don't forget it.", this stunned both women, they definitely didn't expect something like that. Aahin probably doesn't know what a photographic memory is, but she probably deduced it after my last part.

Then they both remember that I am basically blind; "Truly cruel fate is sometimes. To make blind the one who never forgets what he sees... wouldn't his memories be... just darkness.", Shuten said in an inexplicable solemn tone, Aahin also looked solemn if a Khajiit can look solemn in the first place.

"I wasn't born blind. On the contrary, I was born with perfect vision. Blindness was a consequence of my own actions.", I answered with a flat tone, even if the blindness irks me, I want to try to make the most of it.

Maybe this is also a lesson from whatever sent me here? If he could heal those wounds that basically started to Thanos snap me out of existence, he probably could heal my eyes too...

Hmm... Maybe I should try to not be overly dependent on the [Sharingan]?

A lot of Uchihas become a bunch of headless chickens when you remove their [Sharingan] from the play. And I most certainly don't want to fall prey to that. I should hone my fighting powers, skills, and instincts whiteout completely relying on it. Don't get me wrong, I will still use and abuse it. Just saying it won't become a crutch, and fuck me up in the future.

Like, just today I got a bunch of new cultivations techniques. Those two [Cilver Circlets] that appeared were indeed easy prey to the copy function of my eyes, and so was Tulia. If there is something I am never going to be shy about, is copying things.

I am also thankful no one in the organization seems to have problems with my shining red eyes. I've heard it was going to be like this before, but having physical proof is also nice. I did indeed probably got some extra glances, but nothing out of the ordinary, like the skittish and easily triggered guards would do.

"Well, besides, I can still see perfectly in a ten-meter radius. So there is nothing to mop about.", I said in a rather dismissive tone trying to dissipate the heavy air that formed between us three.

After that, we simply followed Aahin throughout the underground tunnels towards the outside. On the way, we talked about some minor matters, and we even discussed some of our training plans for the future. Aahin said that tomorrow she will gladly show us the training halls, both me and shuten quickly agreed, we know very well how important it is to train.

"Does Silverhood have a library?", I asked in an expectant tone, a library will help me greatly in understanding this world better, while also simultaneously boosting my knowledge, and like they said Knowledge is power, not exactly immediate power, but power nonetheless.

Aahin nodded her head in confirmation; "It does. Khajiit has been there some times. Sadly Khajiit is only a [Silver Ring], so accessing the higher ranks is still outside of Khajiit's power.", so the library is also divided by ranks; "I presume the higher your rank, the more you can access?".

Nodding her head Aahin agrees confirming my suspicions; "Indeed. If Khajiit is not mistaken, as a [Silver Coin], you can only access the first floor. As a [Silver Ring] the second, and so on and so forth.".

Soon we were approaching the exit, seeing as this was the perfect opportunity I looked at Shuten and said; "Here pick one of my swords, you already have a dagger. But a sword is still better for combat.", I said that while giving one of my swords to Shuten, with its sheathe and leather belt.

Shuten really accepted the weapon while smiling at me; "Thanks. I am better with Odachis and Katanas, but I know how to handle this kind of sword too.", she strapped the sword to her hip with practiced ease, literally showing that she does indeed know it.

Aahin looking at this scene said; "Khajiit doesn't know much about the so-called Odachi. But if Kahjiit is not mistaken there are some Akaviri Katanas you can find in the crafting division. But they are pretty expensive, as even a simple steel Akaviri katana can cost you a pretty coin.", Her tone was one of resignation, as if she was reminiscing some memory. She probably wanted to buy something too, but her money is falling short.

Soon we reached a strange entry into the underground tunnel, it was a hole in the wall roughly in a rectangular shape. aahin didn't hesitate, and with a feline grace jumped inside the hole already holding a chair carved out from the stone walls. I and Shuten followed soon after.

Soon enough after dislocating an almost weightless wooden crate, we were on the surface, inside an alleyway. Aahin asked us; "So... can you go by yourself from now on? Khajiit will wait here, or simply closely.", I nodded while Shuten just stood there impassively; "Good. Anything just start screaming and running, guards quickly appear if you make a scene big enough, they are excellent distractions for any enemies you might find. And Khajiit knows many ways to give the guards the slip.", she finished there with quite the mischievous tone, probably remember the times she did just that.

Both I and shuten start to slowly walk outside of the alleyway, close to the end of the alleyway is aw a long wooden staff, looking at it with my [Sharingan] I saw nothing suspicious so I simply decided to take it for myself.

Shuten looked curiously at my new addition, I simply explained; "It's to make my blind-man image more solid", she erupted in a low bell-like laugher that I founded quite soothing...

Smiling we continued walking side by slide, I gave her my arm. She looked at me strangely before realization finally dawned on her, she quickly took my arm and started "guiding" me. Smiling mischievously I said; "Now I even have a guide", she just playfully punched me in the arm, but we continued walking. It's just a shame that I am using my armor, so I sadly can't feel her probably very soft skin...
