Confirmation

Michael approached the zombie and pushed it with his feet, indeed it couldn't move its body only head.

So, Michael flipped the zombie body with his hand before feeling the pulse on it's hand. Shocked Michael let go of the hand, he was shocked because he actually felt a pulse on the zombie's hand.

"Did the 'zombies' I killed is still alive and is just sick?" Michael then looked at the knife on his hand that was still bloody and he dropped it.

Michael then looked at the corpses and felt shaken but then he remembered how the zombies bite someone's neck, how horrible the screams was, how painful the bite was, how much regret and worry he had thinking he was dying Michael recovered a little and he went to take the knife.

Michael then looked at one of the corpse and he inspected it, he found that it had a various bite mark even some missing flesh but the bite wound on the neck had stopped bleeding and he even saw some it's skin coloured different compared to the surrounding area while the missing flesh in it's arm was already coated in something reddish.

So Zombies have an extreme vitality that allow the infected to recover naturally even when their neck is bitten until bleeding and it seem they could recover even if some of it's flesh is chopped of or bitten off. Michael noted in his heart that zombie have an fast healing speed,

Michael then went to confirm one more thing at the zombies that is still alive, the zombie looks just like a human except it look pale and its eye was bloodshot along with saliva dripping.

"this is for survival… this is for survival… this is for survival…" Michael repeated these sentence which even he know is a lie but he still said it to deceive himself.

Taking out his phone Michael prepared to activate the timer and he held the knife before swinging it down with all of his might toward Zombie's neck and blood gushes out from it and the blood splattered to Michael's hand and face.

The first though on his mind was 'ah…it's warm' before he chopped down his knife until the head was separated and he activated the timer on his phone with his shaking bloodied hand.

After that Michael saw the head was looking at him while biting down on the empty air repeatedly before its action became slower and slower until it stopped.

Michael then looked at the timer and it stated three minutes; well it was not precisely three minutes but a little less but still the fact that Michael want to confirm has indeed confirmed.

Zombies was indeed alive and it is an human that was infected with a virus that make them crazy and smashing it's head is not the only way to kill it, zombie have an extreme vitality that will let it even last three minutes since it was beheaded roughly by my knife, if it were a clean decapitation maybe it will even last more and the fact it's vitality surpass normal humans by several times. Michael noted very carefully in his heart that zombies is just a human that is infected by a virus or parasite but you maybe still have to kill them so be brave.

Michael then lay on the ground as blood was still pouring out from the neck he chopped off and with blood on his white uniform and faces. 'so if there is still law I will be regarded as someone who kills a sick person that remain true too to the red haired man' after closing his eyes for a few minutes Michael got up and searched their pockets and indeed he found cigarettes, he used the zombie's uniform to wiped off the blood from his hand and face after that he picked up the helmet and wore it.

Taking the chance Michael sat down on the exit of emergency stairs before he placed one point at the agility and one at vitality.

Weirdly he still could move and after that he didn't felt intense hunger or any hunger, maybe the previous food is still enough. Michael lifted the bag and moved around but he didn't felt much different in fact he couldn't felt it, so he moved toward the fence and opened the lock on the fence before he locked it again after he went to the parking lot.

Seeing that there is no zombies here Michael pressed a button on the keychain of the motorcycle and he heard a sound from somewhere in the parking lot.

If the zombies didn't left yet he probably won't use this method, after two more times beeping Michael finally found the bike and he turned it on before he go to his house Michael searched for more stones.

After several minutes Michael found three stones that was bigger than he previously found. Michael then kept the stones before he ridded his new bike to the exit of the parking lot.

Stopping at the exit Michel took out the three stones and threw three of them at the cars and motorcycle deeper inside before rushing out from the school.

Behind him the cars and bikes that unfortunately got struck by his stones blared out and Michael escaped as fast as he can.

On the was there he found some zombie horde that contain tens of them, they chased him for a while but the noise from the parking lot attracted them more. Michael noted this in his heart too, Zombies got easily attracted by noise.

Michael sometimes encounter a zombie or a group of three to four zombies and he stopped before looking around if there is some more of the group if not, he killed them all swiftly.

There is one time Michael confirmed something he just remembered, after killing a lone zombie Michael make its corpse bleed as much it can and he drove to a nearby and waited.

After waiting for a dozen minutes two zombies shows up and after they saw the corpse they stood there for a minute before eating the zombie's corpse. Michael noted very carefully in his heart but still he really noted it in a notebook along with the previous noted thing, Zombies eat other zombie's corpses which mean there is a high possibility that the virus or parasites inside them could control the host behaviour to some degree since after the zombie have bitten a human although it did bite off some flesh it didn't fully eat it.

It was unlike the scene that was Michael seeing right now where it's organ and fleshes was stuffed inside them. What was scary even though the zombie beside it smelled like corpses it didn't try to attack other zombie or eat it.
