Finally discharged

After getting to the training grounds with the help of Quinn and the wheel chair, I was already very exhausted but the exhaustion was nothing compared to the excitement. The training grounds were outside the tower. It was my first time going out since the incident."Okay! Give me your hand. Today we'll start off easy by doing the basics." She said with both her hands reaching out to me.

I placed my hands in hers and she gently pulled me up. "Wonderful. Now try practicing walking slowly with the help of the bars." She said.

I did so and quickly got the hang of it. "Amazing. Now let's do that a couple more times than we can go to stretching. She said. And just like that the rest of the day passed and so did the next and then the next.

On the third day late afternoon I was discharged. I didn't get to meet Kyle one last time but I wasn't too sad about that. Something told me we'd be meeting soon again. Quinn escorted me out of the forbidden forest and afterwards I went on, alone. It was late afternoon so I saw nobody on the way back to the girl's dormitory.

Reaching my dorm I felt extremely relieved and I smiled. I went to my bedroom and got changed into my own clothes. I was gonna miss a few things such as being able to wear such comfortable clothes and no heels and Kyle's company.

I then remembered Miss Quinn told me to go to Madam Eloise's office in the evening. I really didn't want to go but i had to. I had no other choice. It was already evening, the time passed too fast. I put on my heels and combed my hair before going out.

I walked to Madam Eloise's office, on the way back there. I saw students making their way to their dormitories. I guess today's school day has ended.

Reaching the central building which had Madam Eloise's office. I knocked on the door and waited patiently for a response. A little while later I heard Madam Eloise's voice say "Come in." I hesitated before entering. Inside I saw Kyle sitting in the chair opposite to Madam Eloise's chair. At the sight of Kyle, i felt relaxed as I entered.

"Good evening, Madam Elosie." I said.

"Good evening, Miss Rosewood. Take a seat beside Mr. Loisel." She said politely. I sat down on the chair beside Kyle.

"How are you feeling?" She asked.

"I am feeling better than before. May I know why you called me here?" I asked to get to the point.

"It pains me to say this but you have broken a rule for the second time before the semester had even started. Do you know what rule you broke?" She asked.

"I entered the forbidden forest." I answered.

"Yes, that's correct. What was the first rule you had broken before that?" She asked.

"I hid a boy in my dormitory." I said, feeling a bit embarrassed. Hearing what i had said, Kyle turned and looked at me as if shocked deeply.

"Yes, that's correct but since that was the first rule you had broken. You were let off easily without being given any punishment but I am afraid it can't be the same this time." She said as if she was deeply sorry.

"I understand." I said.

"I believe since you cause trouble for Mr. Loisel here; It should be only right for him to choose a suitable punishment." Madam Elosie explained. I looked at Kyle. Hoping he'd say something like 'Oh, no need for a punishment.' or something but he kept quiet till Madam Elosie asked him again.

"Madam Elosie, Tower 5.0 is very underemployed. It'd be great if Miss Rosewood could help around." He said.

"Alright. Miss Rosewood will lend a hand to Tower 5.0 every evening after school for a month." She said.

"A month?!" I shouted. It was too much.

"Do you have any objections, Miss Rosewood?" She asked.

"N-No...." I said.

"Great. What's your opinion on this, Mr Loisel?" She asked.

"I am satisfied with this punishment." He said.

"Wonderful. Now, that's settled. Mr. Loisel, you may take your leave now." She said. Kyle stood up, bowed and left the room. I was now alone with Madam Elosie.

"My dear, you're so reckless and carefree." She said. I already felt alarmed. Where was she going with this conversation?

"I sincerely apologize for all the trouble I've caused." I said.

"It's quite alright. Don't tell anyone but I was a troublemaker when I was your age too. You should have your share of fun too." She said smiling. Talking like that there was an undeniable glow on her face.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yes, I was a really troublesome teenager. My time has passed long ago but your's is still there. Well, look at that. It's already time for dinner. You should go to the Great dining hall." She said.

"Alright. Goodbye." I said, leaving the room. As I walked to the great dining hall, I felt the cold air on my face. I could barely see any students walking towards the great dining hall, I guessed the great feast had already started. There was a sudden loud thud. I turned and saw a girl had fallen. I rushed towards her to help her get up.

I offered her my hand and she took it I pulled her up. She straightened her dress and looked at me. Her eyes glowed a beautiful golden colour. Her long black hair flowed in the cold air.

"Are you alright?" I asked but she did not answer and instead looked startled. I looked at the sky for a second and the moment I looked down I saw she had vanished. I looked at the place where she had fallen. How strange that she disappeared? Her ring had fallen off her finger.

I picked it up. It was a beautiful silver ring with a pink diamond embedded in the center. I cleaned it with a napkin and wore it. It was the perfect size. I did not wish to keep it but rather return it to the original owner but she had been long gone. I took it off and put it in my hand bag. If I was to ever see her again, i would definitely give it back.

Yes, I know that you can add an author's note but no one reads that. I know that for sure because I used to be a reader before i decided to write and I used to skip those notes. I will try to make this quick. I have been posting everyday because I had chapters prepared in advance but those chapters have ran out. So I won't able to post everyday. I wanted to inform you that I'll be taking a small break and I'll be back to posting everyday after that break.
