Chapter Eleven : Obsessed

Long Chen stood beside the window absentmindedly staring at nothing in particular.

To others, it seems like he's so mesmerized by the beauty of the sunlight but it's not that. Only he knows what he's on his mind.

He picks his phone from his pocket and called Su Ming

"Investigate yesterday's incident. I want to know the person who drugged my wife." He said to Assistant Su over the phone.

"I'll do it right away." 

"Also investigate the man who tried to kidnap her."  He added and cut the call

He sighs and goes back to sit on the couch and continue his work.

 Fang Xinyi stirred on the comfy, wide bed and squinted her eyes to get adjusted to the sunlight.

She yawned and sat right. The room was so quiet and peaceful. 

"What the hell was happy last night." She mutters trying to remember.

The only thing she could remember was the waiter serving on Long Chen's request and going to the restroom.

What happened later....... She couldn't remember

She felt a little headache and unconsciously moved. She felt soreness in the area beneath her waist as if she had been crushed by a heavyweight. All parts of her body hurt that she wished they were cut off leaving with only her head. She chuckles and checks the room where she was.

She relaxed when she saw the familiar surroundings.

She lowered her head to check herself out and was surprised to see herself clad in her pajamas.

'What the hell happened. Was I drugged?." The thought aloud

"Yes, you are." Long Chen's cold voice answered, sitting on the couch dressed, typing on the laptop furiously.

He looked up from the laptop

That's when Fang Xinyi realizes that there's another soul in the room.

"I'm sorry for  taking advantage of you when you're unconscious. But I only did it for you to be relieved." Long Chen said, wallowing in guilt, that he took her virginity without her knowledge. It feels like he took carnal knowledge of her.

"It's normal for us to do it. You don't have to be guilty. After all, you did it for my sake."

"Yeah." Long Chen replied and closed his laptop preparing to leave for office.

"I thought we're fighting." She arched her eyebrows playfully.

"Yeah." Long Chen said simply.

Fang Xinyi frowned and said nothing and stared at him, signaling to him to continue his words.

Long Chen kept quiet and stared before saying

"I know you are in love with Kang Li and don't love me. But there's something I need you to know."

He kept quiet for a sec and continued.

"I want you to know that you're mine and will always be mine." He said and walked out.

.... I can understand no man would be cuckolded and keep quiet

"What the hell is going on with him. Did he hit his head on something. Is that why he's fighting with me. Gosh, he's so silly." She said dramatically.

"Gosh it hurts like hell." She hisses in pain.

"You guys are so stupid. How can you fail to capture a lady? Why can't you capture her before Long Chen  got there."  Gu jia said angrily

"Gosh, why did I have to assign fools."

"We're sorry boss." The men said with their heads bowed down

"Sorry???. What can you apologize for? You know what, you guys should get out of my sight before I lose my rationality." She ruffled her hair in anger, breathing heavily.

They ran away afraid of angering even more.

"I told you to stop trying to harm her. You won't benefit anything from it."

"Shut up, you don't have the right to tell me what I should do or not. We're just fuckmates." She challenged him, staring at him fiercely.

"I'm only advising you and it's for your own good.  It won't end well for you when Long Chen finds out. He won't spare you. You know that. You're obsessed with him and not in love with him " The man advised you.

"Shut up." She yells at him

"You and I know what he'll do when he finds out."

"I don't care. Just because I give you the right to f**k me doesn't give you the f**king right to advise me." 

"Oh yes, we're just fuckmates. I don't have the right to interfere in your affairs. Ok, fine" The man said and walked out in anger.

"Stop right there."  The man didn't answer and walked off.

"Don't let me see you again. Idiot." She said and sat down.

Fang Xinyi thought about the matter ensuing between her and Long Chen. She finally understands that Long Chen feels insecure and thinks she is still in love with Kang Li.

So now, she is going to win his heart and make him fall in love with her.

 And that's why  Fang Xinyi stayed in the kitchen learning cuisine skills from the Butler Zhang

She is going to cook for Long Chen. Hopefully, he will forgive her

"You can leave the rest to me." She said,

"Are you sure ma'am ?." Butler Zhang asked since Fang Xinyi is an amateur.

"Don't worry, I won't burn down the kitchen." She joked and Zhang Ma chuckled.

Zhang Ma left the kitchen for her not without instructing the maids to watch over her. 

He's worried about her being hurt because his young master will surely punish if any harm comes to the young miss.

Fang Xinyi got herself busy in the kitchen cooking some basic foods like fish soup, chicken soup and tofu.

"Welcome young master." She could hear the maids greeting Long Chen which means that Long Chen is back home.

"Can you please arrange the dining table?" She said to Ah Keiyin.

"Yes young madam." She said and quickly went to set the table.

Fang Xinyi smiled, feeling satisfied with her work. She instructed the maids and went to call Long Chen for dinner.
