"Hey, are you alright?" Ossa rubbed the omega's black fur as it opened its eyes, the radiance of the sun momentarily blinding her.
Whine!! She exclaimed, her eyes still closed.
Her body was no longer in pain, but she felt an unexplainable fatigue, an aftereffect of the healing the system performed on her.
"She is okay," Bel's voice sounded, full of relief.
Curious as to why they were so concerned about her, she slowly opened her eyes.
The sun glimmered on the clear stream that flowed right in front of them, preys and predators alike sitting under the shades around the stream with a few of them drinking.
<What... > She paused as her gaze fell on a spider monkey, the memories of the night before flashing in her mind.

In the memory, she and Bel were crying over Ossa's unmoving body, as the link they both felt with him was no more.
Bel shook, and the omega nudged, not accepting the fact that Ossa was dead.
