ch. 19 council

"You ready hime?" Asked Naruto as he waited outside the council doors with kana

Nodding she replied "yup, this will be easy."

"Alright brat come on." Tsunade yawned out as she walked past them with shizune.

Entering the council hall they were met with the sight of a large round room. At the end was a elevated seat with the kanji for hokage on it. To the sides there were two seats labeled for elders. On the left side of the room it was labeled "civilian council" while on the right it was "shinobi council". The civilian council was made up of a group of overweight men and women as thin as sticks.

Looking over to the shinobi council Naruto saw a few familiar faces. He saw Kiba and his mother Tsume, into and her dad Inoichi, Shikamaru and his dad shikiku, Choji and his dad choza, Hinata and her father Hizashi, Shino and his dad Shibi, he also saw asuma and Kurenai, than there were a few other people that Naruto didn't recognize. Giving those he knew a nod he followed Tsunade until he and kana were standing to her right as she sat in her seat. Near the civilian council he noticed my danzo clone as well.

Before Tsunade could even open her mouth a civilian stood up and exclaimed "Tsunade why is the demon here!" Causing the civilian council to start their own shouting and questioning.

Slamming his cane down danzo got the civilian council to shut up. Naruto was sure he could taste the smugness his clone was giving off. Turning he gave a knowing smirk to Tsunade making her lips twitch up in amusement. 'Haha these meeting will be so much easier now!' Tsunade internally cheered. Than focusing back on to the council she cleared her throat and announced "today we reintroduce a once lost shinobi clan, as well as release the information on chunin Naruto uzumaki's heritage." She announced making the shinobi councils eyes widen, while the civilian council looked both confused and angry, but they were once again held back by danzo. Nodding Tsunade motioned for Naruto to step forward which he did. "Let it be known that Naruto uzumaki Namikaze lives and is now head of clan uzumaki." She announced making the shinobi clan nod with looks that translated to "finally now can we go home". Well at least most of them tsume on the other hand had a shit eating grin.

"Now any questions?" Asked Tsunade as she looked around.

"Naruto is the son of the fourth!" I I exclaimed in surprise before taking a long look at the blond.

"Troublesome." Shikamaru mumbled before putting his head back onto the table mimicking his father.

"Hokage-Sama!" Tsume exclaimed while raising her hand

"Yes Tsume?" Tsunade replied with a smile. Honestly Tsume was one of the people she liked the most, she was usually quiet and only spoke up when she was genuinely interested or confused. Also despite her wild demeanor she was polite and straightforward, as they shared a common dislike for politics.

Nodding respectfully Tsume stood up and explained "well hokage-Sama as most of you know me and kushina were close friends." She started getting nods from most of the clan heads along with the hokage. "Well after I gave birth to my daughter Hana me and kushina wrote up a marriage contract." Tsume announced making the room go quiet.

Widening her eyes kana internally cursed 'shit! This is bad, we're not that powerful personally and we need allies. If ruto breaks the contract than the Inuzuka will be hostile or neutral to us.' Kana thought, than seeing her dumb boyfriend open his mouth kana pinched him before sending her thoughts to him.

Hearing kana's thoughts Naruto honestly he was torn as well. He's met Hana and Tsume before quite a few times actually. The inuzuka clan always treated him well, Hana taught him a good bit about healing even if she's a vet and not a doctor. They would sometimes play with her ninja dogs as well. Biting his lip Naruto tightened his hold over kana's hand and thought. 'Dammit mom why! Now what to do, I can't Marry Hana even if I do like her because I love kana.' After a few more seconds Naruto opened his eyes and looked at Tsume with an apologetic smile. "I'm sorry aunt Tsume but I can't marry Hana-Chan, I'm already engaged." Naruto replied while motioning for kana to step forward. While doing so he quickly made a shadow clone while using the transformation jutsu to make a crimson red ring with a nine tailed fox engraved on it. The foxes tailed held up a matching red ruby. Holding up kana's hand Naruto showed off her ring before quickly making a matching one for himself, except his didn't have a gem it was just a crimson red ring with a nine tailed fox engraved on it. "This is my fiancé kana uzumaki." He announced happily while hoping that would nip any more marriage proposals in the butt.

Seeing that Tsume nodded sadly before her eyes lit up and she palmed her fist with an expression that screamed "I remember something". Clearing her throat she looked at Naruto and revealed "you are the last male uzumaki within konoha or maybe even the world, there for under the nidaime's law you are under the CRA."

"Wait the dobe's marring Hana!" Kiba who finally got out of his stupor exclaimed in shock.

"Shut it pup!" Tsume growled while bonking her son on the head. Than looking at the confused Naruto and the cursing kana Tsume explained "the CRA stands for the clan restoration act, basically you have to take at least three wives, so congratulations pup you get a harem." Tsume revealed rather bluntly getting some snorts and laughter from the other clan heads and heirs.

Off to the side hinata was staring at Naruto and kana with an emotionless expression. 'That BITCH STOLE MY NARUTO!' She internally raged as she cracked the table with how hard she was gripping it.

Blinking Hiashi looked down at his daughter with his usual stoic expression. 'She's just like her mother.' He thought inwardly sweating.

'Shit, I never read about the CRA why wasn't it in any of ero-Sennin's books, he gave me books on konoha laws.' Naruto thought as he tried to find a way out of his predicament.

'Calm down ruto, just ask for a private meeting with Tsume at a later date.' Kana messaged Naruto telepathicly.

Nodding while taking a calming breath Naruto replied 'ok thanks hime.' While squeezing her hand. "Tsume if we could talk about this later in private, that would be preferable."

Nodding with a shrug she replied "fine with me, oh and to let you know Hana's had a crush on you since you were eight." Tsume sat down with an amused smile as she saw Naruto's dumbfounded look. 'Heh just wait boy you'll make my Hana happy, now I just have to find a way to appease his fiancé.' She thought while eyeing the red head as she did the same. 'Huh she looks exactly like kushina did at 18-19 years old.' She thought while narrowing her eyes. 'Also why does her name sound so familiar.'

"Alright now that that's settled Naruto, kana take your seat, it's next to shibi." Tsunade announced before going over other important details about the village, such as the economy and trading.
