Reaching Out

A boy left all alone in the world after being abandoned by his mother in a poor clan that treated him harshly because he started showing signs of being different from other kids and the people around him. With him being ostracized more and more he became less and less of the cheerful young kid he use to be until eventually turning discreet and mute around others in hopes that they would stop being scared of him. Though that plan never worked out for him and, in the end he was left to strive on his own as best as he could in the environment he was left in. He explored the towns library and any books he could find in his Clan even if they were useless. Years on years of doing such things eventually led him into stumbling across a book that would help push him towards the thing he wanted the most. "The Basic Guide To The Astral Path" This book may not of been special to anyone in the long run but, it was to him because, it was his new beginning. With this new path available to him would he be able to push through all the obstacles and hardships waiting for him or in the end will he stumble and fall? Or will people be there to catch him if he does once again?

Rising Popularity

Hearing Xilo hesitate to speak a bit, Xelfia couldn't suppress her laughter. There was no reason for Xilo to be worried about her. When she had followed Xilo she made sure she wouldn't do anything that would end up hurting her. Killing Delfex was quite easy after all that damage he had taken. Along with him being caught off guard Xelfia was perfectly fine. If she had to take a guess, Delfex probably let his guard down with his Father there making it a bit more easy. Since Aeon took care of that for them there wasn't really a threat of danger.

"I was just trying to help you, sorry I didn't get to talk to you about it beforehand. Hopefully I didn't scare you too much, that wasn't my intention entirely. I really just wanted to be able to help. Your little plan went really well and let me end the fight. I was going to let you fight him after that but I saw my opportunity and took it."

"It's fine, as long as you're alright. That's what matters the most to me even if I do wish you gave me a heads up. Usually what you want to do is the most important thing to me but I let my want to protect you cloud my vision this time around. So that's my fault there and I'll keep what you want in mind next time. Just tell me alright?"

Xilo knew Xelfia just wanted to help regardless of her own physical condition. "I appreciate it." After establishing a connection with her and seeing Hunter injure her so badly he panicked. Talking a bit more with Xelfia he enjoyed her company while the others got everything set up. With some time passing a mini party started that lasted the rest of the night. Katrin and Aeon came to join them as they talked with each other, playing games and just having a bit of silly fun. No plans, worrying or anything else like that. It was a time for them to just have fun.

"Vandor and Keld got quite drunk."

Xilo wasn't a big fan of alcohol himself but quite a few members got drunk enough to pass out. Some others who were underage set up a board game to play with each other that Xilo ended up joining for a few games. Maybe those kids were smarter than he thought but he ended up losing every round he played. "I just didn't understand the rules." Telling that to himself as an excuse the night eventually came to end as everyone went back to their rooms to sleep. "If they could even walk." The people who were a little too drunk were just left on the floor. When they sobered up they could walk themselves to their room.

Lying down in his bed with all the girl's Xilo closed his eyes as he felt the warmth of their bodies. It hadn't even been a couple of nights without all of them but he had missed this feeling. Eventually falling asleep Xilo faded into the world of dreams. Felli stayed in her own room again as she pulled out her Grandfather's book. Reading it through a bit she did a bit of reading to settle down while falling asleep. Before leaving Katrin went to grab Hazel. Dragging her by the chain's wrapped around her neck Katrin had zero kindness in her bones as she pulled her across the floor kicking and whining.

"It's time you toughen up, that or you can die just like the others."

With a headache creeping up on her she eventually made it to another room that she chucked Hazel in. Locking her in there she would deal with when she woke up tomorrow. For now she just wanted to spend some quality time with Aeon. With everything going on lately she hadn't got a good chance for it. Calling out to Aeon she went to her room with his hand in hers and fell asleep herself. While they were all sleeping, news spread throughout the city about the events that had happened last night. Like a fire, quite a few people fanned the flames and played the story up. The name of Xilo's clan spread and grew in popularity just like he had wanted.

"Did you hear what happened last night?"

Murmurs and whispers spread from person to person until evening eventually came. Xilo woke up in his bed with a bit of a headache. "Looks like yesterday caught up with me." Changing his clothing it was quite late already. "Oh well." Waking everyone up, he got ready for the start of another day. He didn't exactly know when however he was positive Katrin would be sending them off again, this time to another country entirely. He wanted to make sure he was ready as possible. "Not everyone will be coming as well." With that being the case he would have a lot less help. If he couldn't defend himself there then he would be in for some trouble.

A place where he knew absolutely no one meant he was the only help he could get. Getting in his morning practice he heard everyone else waking up as well. Eventually some of them came out and joined him for a bit of training. Once everyone was up they all went about their day like normal again. Everyone had their break and now it was time for their typical routine. Xilo got a few reports about what had happened while he slept after Keld had woken up. "Looks like my plan worked." People were talking about him and what happened, apparently there were a couple of witnesses. The other job of the people he hired as well was to spread information about the event.

"They're doing their job, good."

At this rate a name would build itself up for themselves and maybe a few people would start to recognize them as Clan with strength. If that was the case Xilo could start recruiting some new people and begin to expand. "I want this place to grow." He didn't want to just be a leader of this small group of people. He wanted to bring more people in and see them all soar to the top together. "Maybe when I get back from Katrin's job I can recruit some?" Thinking about the future in his mind Xilo felt Aeon nearby. Shaking his head he focused on his footsteps, it seemed like it was time for a bit of training with him now.

"Good, I can also talk to him a bit about recruiting people."

Enjoy.
