Bobby Edward Anderson Jeffery Simmons Baldwin Cage

"Sigh, I miss home." I mutter to no one, my voice lost in the silence of the night. Although the night sky rivals that of a light show, my heart is like a candle that can die with just a blow.

My name is Bobby Edward Anderson Jeffery Simmons Baldwin Cage, Bob for short. I'm your normal American boy. I have no parents, being an orphan since birth. I was bullied all my life. There are many times where I considered ending it all, but I persevered.

It was Monday morning, that day. On my way to school, I was hit by a truck. I accepted my death, although sudden. But I woke up in here. A world of a game I played back then.

Waking up in the cart, I was both terrified and excited. On one hand, I'm in a lawless world where life can be taken in an instant, on the other hand, a brand new adventure.

Using my in-game knowledge, I hope to help the Dragonborn finish her quest. I even managed to convince Hadvar and Ralof to tolerate each other and join us.

We went through the cave without any hiccups. Then, as we exited, we met someone.

A black haired, black eyed man. He looked quite handsome, I have to admit. He looked Asian, but with a British accent. Though what surprised me is, he's just like me. He was from Earth. I was happy, knowing I am not alone.

We instantly teamed up. On the next day, I saw him shoot. He's so good at doing so, leaving me shocked. He's going to be of great help.

Then we went to Whiterun, retrieved the Dragonstone, and received news of a dragon attacking the Western Watchtower.

"Why are you here?"

"GIYAAHHHHHH!"

~~~~~~~~~~
I have to say, Bob has quite the throat.
That sounded weird.
Anyways, it was night. Everyone was supposed to be asleep, and they are. Well, most of them. I have insomnia.
So I left the Bannered Mare, went outside Whiterun after chatting up the gate guards, and went to the clearing in front, the place where the Khajiit Caravan is supposed to be.
And lo and behold, Bob. No idea why he's out. He seemed to be having a monologue, so I gave him a few seconds.
And I got tired of waiting so I just walked up to him. And he screamed. It's so loud I can hear it in my soul.
"Jesus Christ calm down." After he stopped, I flicked his forehead and sat down on the boulder beside him.
"You scared me! Don't do that." Bob held his chest.
"My bad." I crossed my legs. "Care to share why you're outside at this time?"
Hearing my question, Bob looked down. He sighed before answering a moment after.
"I kind of miss home."
"Pfft!" I had to bite my tongue.
"Why are you laughing?" Bob furrowed his brows.
I mean...
"Why would you miss home? It's a fucking dumpster fire in there. Literal definition of dystopia, I tell you." I laid down on the boulder.
"Well, family, perhaps? Close friends? Oooh~ maybe a girlfriend?" I whistled.
"N-no!" Bob seemed to be flustered.
"I'm an orphan. And I don't have any friends."
Wow.
That took a dark turn.
"I see." I replied, staying silent afterwards.
You know, I never really appreciated the night sky of Skyrim. It's gorgeous. So many colors.
It's so different from what I'm used to.
"Adam?" I heard Bob speak.
"Ye?" I promptly replied.
"If you weren't transmigrated here, what are you supposed to be doing now?"
That's an interesting question.
Let's see...
"I would be finishing my research papers."
"You're a student too?"
"Yeah."
Silence followed.
...
...
...
"It's boring here. Let's drink mead inside."
"I don't drink!"
"I'll make you."
~~~~~~~~~~

Ahh, the smell of a springtime morning. So fresh~

"Aughhh..."

Looks, flowers! Those vibrant colors~

"Erghhh..."

The sunlight on my skin~ I feel alive~

"Nrghhh..."

"Can someone tell me why is Bob like this?" Hadvar, with twitching eyelids, gestured at Bob.

Bob looks uh... alive-ish. His hair is messy. His face is messy. Heck, his entire person looks messy. He reeks of alcohol too.

"Adam, did you take him out to drink?" Ralof asked.

"Well, he was awake in the middle of the night so I kindly offered." I scratched the back of my head with a smile.

Ralof sighed. Hadvar is assisting Bob with walking. Dude looks like he's gonna fall into coma anytime.

We're currently walking to Ivarstead. Reason? Dragonborn shit. I don't know how the Greybeards knew without Aria shouting. The dragon we captured is still alive, kept at the Western Watchtower.

I'm going with them this time, courtesy of Ralof almost begging me. And I'm pretty bored, so I agreed.

"Adam."

Surprisingly, Aria spoke to me. Which is weird, as we never talked much.

"Aria, how's life?" I smiled at her.

"Good." She answered.

And I stayed silent.

I honestly don't know what to say in this situation. I'm acting like a bitchless virgin right now.

...

Okay I am a bitchless virgin but I'm only one because I put studies first okay!

"Here."

Hm?

Aria is holding a bow. It looks dope, seemingly made from gold with some green on some parts. The unique appearance of course reminded me of its name.

"Glass Bow. For you." Aria handed it over, though her head was lowered. Which is a red flag.

Teasing of potential romance aside, I held the bow in my hand. I was using an Imperial Bow for the past days, and this new bow is obviously stronger.

"Thank you." I smiled at Aria before turning back to the bow.

I want to try it.

Fortunately, we are just atop the bridge near Honningbrew Meadery. There are a few fishes on the river below. They may be small, but they make for good target practice.

I walked near the ledge of the bridge, nocked an arrow and aimed. The string is harder to pull this time. Aria stood beside me, watching in interest. Hadvar and Ralof are helping Bob who's currently vomiting.

As soon as a fish caught my eye, I released the arrow. I'm only using Iron Arrows, but does it really matter? I can use a sharpened stick and still embed it in your eye.

The arrow flew from my bow and hit the fish below. It just went through the fish, funnily enough. The arrow buried itself at the riverbed while the fish it pierced was swept away by the current.

"Damn, this is good."

Aria smiled sweetly in response. Which is out of character.

Another teasing of potential romance aside, we continued on our merry way.

there, adam finally has an appearance. yes, hes half asian half british. yes, hes just me. yes, he would be wearing glasses if not for it being out of place.

that aside, romance sounds painful to write. i havent had a girlfriend in decades. idk how to write one.

doesnt mean i wont tho.

15k words soon. and by soon i meant a month or two. im not gonna make an entire chapter of copy paste to reach 15k words, thats just laziness.

also comments are appreciated, those inspires me to write.
