New Life

As he had expected from the first words he heard that came out of his own mothers mouth, Acacius' mother did not show any interest in him and instead showed signs of absolute hatred towards his entire being.

Much to his surprise, it seemed as though his parents had not given him a name yet as they had not decided on one.

The whole process of being released from the hospital was boring and dull, and not once did his mother say anything to him.

During this time, he had met his father who also did not say a word to or about him and only gave occasional glances of disgust aimed at him.

Although his mother and father seemed to despise him, Acacius did not understand why as his vision was not very good and he could hardly see himself.

Once he was able to leave the hospital, Acacius felt himself being lazily put into a car seat and the straps loosely and carelessly being tightened. The car ride took a long time, and after about an hour and a half of loud noises seemingly coming from a motorway, it started to quiet down a lot.

The previous sounds of cars were replaced with birds and gentle winds blowing through the windows of the car. This was strange to Acacius as he expected to be taken back to the house where he would live, but he guessed that his parents might live in a quiet and forest like area.

After around thirty minutes of driving in this new environment, the car stopped. And for the first time since the car ride started, he heard his mother's voice, "This seems like a good enough place, nobody will look here so we'll be fine."

Acacius' father replied, "I agree, although it is a shame that our first child had to come out a mutant, but we can always try again next time."

In a disappointed tone his mother replied, "Maybe next time it won't come out as such a monstrosity, that would be good."

Acacius felt himself being picked up and then dropped without any care for his safety straight onto the ground. This was then followed by the noise of doors slamming and the car driving off.

'Well shit, guess that means there's no chance of me having a normal life, at least not for the time being. How am I going to survive though? I'm just a new born baby, I wonder if the traits I have gained will help me survive.'

As Acacius thought this, information about the traits he obtained from each Pokemon flooded into his mind.

1: Tangrowth

Vine Generation: Create and control Vines connected to body.

Regeneration: Able to regenerate body parts quickly and reduce pain felt.

2: Heatran

Magma Generation: Create and control Magma.

Metal Claws: Claws made of indestructible metal on ends of both hands and feet instead of fingers and toes.

3: Alakazam

Teleportation: Instantly teleport to any previously visited location or an area in sight.

Telekinesis: Control and move things with mind.

4: Electivire

Electricity Generation: Create and control electricity.

Tough Fur: Tough fur that is capable of receiving and blocking a lot of damage.

5: Inteleon

Water Generation: Create and control water.

Precision Aim: Able to accurately pinpoint weaknesses and target a specific area.

6: Machamp

Four Arms: Four arms that can be easily controlled.

Super Strength: Increases strength of entire body by a large amount.

7: Haxorus

Arm Blades: Indestructible sharp blades on arms.

Tusk Blades: Indestructible sharp blade tusks.

8: Honchkrow

Black Wings: Powerful and large black wings which allow for fast flight.

Murder Cry: Loud cry to summon a large amount of crows.

9: Gengar

Ghost Form: Able to go in and out of a ghost form that renders all attacks pointless and allows for movement through objects in the physical plane.

Shadow Movement: Can hide in any shadow and move between them.

10: Stonjourner

Gravity: Able to control the gravity in areas that are visible.

Block: Keep targeted enemy/enemies in place rendering them unable to move.

'Wow, just wow. These will all be useful even if some of them affect my appearance slightly. Surprisingly, the Pokemon I knew the least about may end up having some of the most useful traits depending on how powerful they are. For now though I think I know what can help me stay alive.'

Acacius used his trait of Vine Generation and controlled it to wrap around a tree branch. He then made the vine pull him towards the branch in a safe and secure manner. Once he reached the branch, he created more vines and made a cocoon like structure around himself for protection.

He planned to stay inside of it until he had the ability to see properly and could manoeuvre relatively well. This would be made possible by his vines edibility as well as his water generation which would mean he did not dehydrate.

Once he felt safe enough in his 'cocoon', Acacius fell asleep for almost an entire day due to over exerting his body which was only that of a baby's.

Once he awoke, he came to the realisation that he was able to properly see and that his limbs were moveable, this would mean he could venture out despite being a new born. If it were not for his traits allowing this to be possible, Acacius would have died for certain sooner or later in the forest that he was abandoned in.

He manipulated the 'cocoon' and created a gap in it to allow himself to exit, before teleporting back down to the ground. Unlike when he grappled up to the tree with his vines, he could now see much more clearly which allowed his Teleportation to become useful.

Despite what he thought, this ability seemed easy to use. However, he noticed that it could definitely be trained to be quicker and more precise. The same went for his Vine Generation as he did not have incredible control over it. Acacius came to the conclusion that this would be the case for most of his traits and understood that he would need to train them over time.

While he was thinking about his future, Acacius did not notice the presence behind him. That was until he was lifted into the arms of an unknown entity.
