Puru had three desires in life. First, obtain a seat at the highest level of God King Arya's court. Second, earn a name for himself in the land of humans. The third one, he kept close to his chest. Today, he had a fourth desire, to uncover Lord Yaman's hidden journal. After Lord Harihar offered to help with the search, the four asuras met him in front of his mansion gates at dawn the next day to ride out together.
Sniggers escaped as Lord Harihar rode up to their side. He was dressed in clothes flashier than those of a prostitute. The silk tunic he had on was sure to burn him up in the bright sun, the most crimson that Puru had ever seen, trimmed with gold embroidery. His golden silk stole shone in the sun. The red turban was too large for his head, wrapped in strings of pearl with the biggest pink pearl wretched in the center. Pearls also wrapped his neck and wrists and hung from the lord's ears.
