Layla tried to find a comfortable position on the bed, but it seemed quite small and not as soft as her bed back home, it was then she slowly opened her eyes and realized that she was still at the hospital.
She had fallen asleep after the doctor administered a medication, intravenously to her.
The door to her room opened and her family's doctor, a man in his sixties, walked in.
"I see you are awake," the doctor said smiling.
Doctor Jamil has been Layla's family doctor since she was little, and he knows all about her medical history.
"Yes I am," Layla said in a weak voice.
"How are you feeling?" Dr Jamil asked her.
"I still feel weak."
"I already called your parents to inform them, they said they are currently not in town but will send someone over."
"I'm not surprised," Layla murmured under her breath.
"Your friends said to tell you that they will be back to see you."
"Thanks."
