A New Relationship

One week later, Ava decided to host Maddie and Layla at her house.

It was a sleepover as Mason was on a business trip.

Maddie was the first to arrive.

"Hey girl....." she screamed when Ava came to open the door for her. They haven't seen each other in a while because Ava had been busy with her exams.

"It feels like I haven't seen you in forever," Maddie said into Ava's neck as she hugged her.

"Me too. I have missed you so much!"

Maddie pulled away from the hug, her hands still on Ava's shoulders. "You look like you have lost some weight."

"You can say that again, preparing for this exam really stressed me out."

"Thank God it's over, so you can now rest." Maddie said.

"Yeah, Mason and I are planning on going on a vacation."

"Have you decided where?"

"No, I still haven't made up my mind," Ava said.

Theresa came to the living room with a glass of fresh orange juice for Maddie.
