Strange

"Hey Nanaji!" He hears a loud voice yell at him from across the arena.

"Oh, hey Kyle!" Nanaji greets him back. "What are you doing here man, aren't you usually here with Kasai?" Kyle asks while scratching the back of his head.

"Yeah! I was hoping you could help me out with that. Today's his ability training day with Katalina and I can't seem to find them anywhere." Nanaji says looking around.

"Huh? I saw them enter a little while ago. Do you think their already done training. Kyle says.

No way it's only 6am, they wouldn't finish that quick!" Nanaji says. "But Kasai did look gloomy when I last saw him, so maybe he wasn't up to it and went back to the dorms" Nanaji says sounding depressed.

"Eh, I wouldn't sweat it, he'll turn up soon. He's the strongest second year I've ever met!" Kyle says admiringly.

"Fair enough! I'll just call him and see how he's doing." Nanaji says as he heads back to the locker room.

He sits down on the bench in the locker rooms waiting for Kasai to answer his phone, but each time he calls it goes straight to voice mail. "Come on man! Answer!" He shouts. Nanaji's shouting grabs the attention of the arena's manager, "Something wrong Nanaji?" He hears a voice say from the front door to the locker room. "Oh, it's just you Mr. Kurosawa!" Nanaji says with a nostalgic sounding voice. "I'm fine, I just can't seem to get a hold of Kasai or Katalina. I haven't heard from them in hours." He says sounding worried for both of them. "Oh, I saw them arrive early this morning! I think the Lieutenant had to leave early because she was called into headquarters." Mr. Kurosawa explains to Nanaji. "And I'm guessing Kasai got mad since she left in the middle of training, because he stormed off." He says.

"Thanks for telling me. I'm gonna try and find him, see you next weekend!" Nanaji says as he leaves the arena to go find Kasai. Mr Kurosawa stands there sighing in the doorway watching him run off. "What an odd pair."

Nanaji races through the city square to find Kasai, but is stopped by Idir a boy in his class. "Huh? Nanaji, where you headed?" He asks while stocking up his dads convenient store. "Oh, hey Idir! I'm looking for Kasai, didja happen to see where he went?" Nanaji asks. "Oh Kasai, yeah we saw him storm off that way." Idir says as he points to the area with the palm trees. "Is something going on?" He asks looking at Nanaji's worried face. "What, oh no! Everything's fine it's just-" Nanaji stops for a second and notices his most favorite food in the whole world sitting on the counter inside the store. "Are those meat buns?" He asks excitingly.

"Huh? Oh yeah! I was making them for the guys down at the arena, but you can take a few, I have more on the rack." Idir says as he gets done stacking boxes. "Really! Thanks man!" Nanaji says thankfully as he shoves them in his gym bag. Idir watches him confused as to where Kasai could be. "It's unusual for you to be here by yourself, is everything really okay?" He asks.

Nanaji stands there for a while pondering what he should say. "Hey Idir. What do you think of Kasai. I know you haven't known him as long as I have, but what do you think of him?" He asks out of the blue.

"Huh? What do I think of Kasai? We'll I think he's arrogant, a little rude, and kind of cocky for a guy who hasn't developed an ability." Idir says with a straight face.

Nanaji stands there a little dumbfounded. "But still, I think he's a decent guy. He's definitely the strongest guy I've met. If anything he could handle himself in a fight!" Idir says with a big grin on his face.

Nanaji smiles. "Yeah, I'll admit, he's stong. But what'll that idiot do without me. Thanks for the food!" He says while leaving the store.

"Your welcome! Just remember to save some for Kasai when you find him!" Idir shouts as he watches Nanaji run off with meat buns falling out his bag.

Nanaji heads to the place where Idir said he saw Kasai stormed off at. He reaches his location but notices something off, he sees a crowd of angry people being blocked by the armored guards. "Everyone get back! This section has be quarantined until further notice!" He hears one of the guards say. He looks on at the crowd and sees a familiar face. "Kyle!" He calls out to him. "What's going on!?" He asks with a concerned face. "These bozo's blocked off all the roads that lead to sector 12-4, some are angry because they need to get to there jobs. It must be pretty serious, I can sense an insane amount of aura coming from here." Kyle says with an irritated expression. "Do you know why there no letting us pass?" Nanaji asks. "No, why is there something wrong?" Kyle asks suspiciously. "Idir says he saw Kasai storm off this way." Nanaji says fearfully. "Don't worry man, if he did go in there I'm pretty sure he's out already." Kyle says confidently. Just as he says that they and all the people in the crowd are knocked on their backs as a powerful amount of aura blasts out of sector 12-4. Bluish-green residue blasts up to the sky, making everything known to the whole island. "Woah! What the-" Kyle says right before he sees Nanaji dash right up to the front. "Hey kid! Back up this part is still off limits!" He hears on guard say as he pushes him back. "My friend, his name is Kasai, he might still be in there! Let me through!" Nanaji yells while trying to get passed the guards. "No one goes near here! Men, arrest this kid!" One of the guards go. "NO! Let me through!" Nanaji yells even more persistently. The guards take him down using all their force. "KASAI!"
