*** Stage R1 Begin ***

The recruit levels started slow like it was the first day they had all stepped into the court yard of the guild house. Not enough power within the beast to get overwhelmed, but more than enough to kill you should you underestimate them.

The test gave an honest representation of the plains but the odds of dying became nearly zero. Ayden knowing this decided to test out how strong he Truly had become.

As the first beasts finally materialized the battle begun, 3 flame hounds dashing out with their menacing fangs. But this did not break Aydens calm as he let his shield drop to the floor, the dull *bang* sounding out.

Ayden didn't just want to test out his sword skills but also his hand-to-hand combat skills, because you don't always keep your weapon. So he left his blades attached at his hip.

Twisting to the side one of the flame hounds flew right past him aiming to bite his head off quickly but missed, allowing Ayden to turn jump and plant a solid kick on its back leg as it landed; the feeling of bone breaking accompanied the fierce beauty of the movement.

Feeling the air shift rapidly behind him Ayden pushed off the ground letting his body weight shift into his kicking leg and complete a full turn facing back where he had started, causing the beast to collapse onto the ground.

The move put him just to the side of the second flame hound who's jaws had just snapped shut but with the force of the spin Ayden planted the back of his fist squarely on the end of its chin snapping its head to the side.

The first beast rolling on the ground caught Aydens leg as it rolled but Ayden had planned on this while tilting his body slightly forward putting his weight back on his front foot. Using the force of the roll he let it whip him around again in a circle, the power swinging his foot above his head.

Bringing his heel down sharp with an axe kick on the second beasts head it burst into a cloud of light particles accompanied but an odd flash of orange light, but their was another beast pushing its attack.

Seeing the 3rd beast coming in Ayden let the kick continue down and behind him till it was pulling him up above the beasts head in a front flip kinda manner, using its head as spring board he pushed himself backwards while continuing his rolling motion and came down on the first beasts head just as it was getting up off the floor causing it to also burst into light particles, but he landed hard.

With all the momentum gone now Ayden was a little slow standing up as the last beast came in again with jaws wide open, but keeping calm Ayden got his hands out just in time to forcefully stop the jaws from snapping shut.

While his feet slid across the floor due to the flame hound still charging he got one foot behind him widening his stance, straightening his arm and as his back heel reached the floor it was as if a giant force of power had appeared in front of him, the beast mouth snapped open wide breaking the jaw and the body crumpled after a soft *bang*; with a sharp twist Ayden snapped its neck causing it to burst into light particles just s as quickly as the other two.

The beauty was gone and all that remained was the carnage of war.

Aydens eyes had a slight golden glow unable to be seen by those watching, sharp and ready for the next wave of the test. His fangs felt larger in his mouth, but this just made him feel deadlier.

His body radiated an overwhelming pressure after only a few beast in the promotion test, what felt like minutes to Ayden was only 20 seconds to those watching; all their jaws agape from the deadly unarmed display.

As a diver their is no rest in the either caves, so their was no rest in the testing as the next set of beast reached him but in greater numbers.

Ayden was an unbreakable force as he used the beast against themselves, placing them in each other's paths causing them to trip and miss their attacks. The second one left an opening so he drew his sword and with each swing a beast began to burst into light particles.

While the beauty of Aydens movements had disappeared his skill did not weaken, but even the greatest warriors weren't immune from taking damage. Luckily they were only minor hits here and there but enough to have him reach his hand out, close it and pull activating his shields skill.

Feeling the air shift beside him this time Ayden jumped back at an angle, shifting the shields travel path with him.

As the jaws of the beast closed in front of him he threw out a punch timing it to match his shield, the combination caused the beast to burst apart and Ayden was able to grab the shield out of the air.

Letting the still substantial force spin him as Ayden jumped and was pushed out of the encirclement of about five flame hounds that had spawned in the few seconds it took for his shield to travel the distance to his hand.

As he landed the beast were already heading towards him, and more continued to be formed as he continued to defeat them.

Soon stage R1 was finished, R2 went about the same only fanged rats were added to spawning beast. Things only began to take a turn half way through R3, when the spawn rate went down and what came out caused a commotion in the monitoring room.
