Vivi's Request

The crew ate at the Palace and Thirteen stayed quiet with White eating as he sat in Thirteen's head. Nami sat next to him and shook food in his face with an excited smile, looking like a little sister to her older brother.

Thirteen grabbed the food from her fork with his hands and stuffed it in his mouth before getting yelled at by Nami while the rest of the group laughed.

Thirteen stabbed at his food as a hand stretched over to take food but was too slow. Thirteen stuffed all the food in his mouth while Zoro drank, Sanji yelled at Luffy for stealing his food, Usopp ate with his arms around his plate, Nami shaking a chicken leg in front of Thirteen's face, Chopper reading a book and trying to stab at his plate but missing every time as his food magically disappeared.

Vivi smiled as she watched them and ate her share of food, not for long as her food was stolen too. She blinked and went for another piece only for it to disappear from her plate.

Luffy looked like a balloon as Sanji yelled at him and he replied "It was Usopp." who jumped up and said "WHAT?!" The crew started arguing and Sanji kicked Luffy, smashing Zoro's cup out of his hands and hitting Usopp in the face.

Zoro got up and grabbed Sanji before they started a dust brawl, Luffy grabbed Usopp and jumped into the dust brawl while laughing. Chopper looked over before screaming in fear as he was dragged into it.

Chopper grabbed onto Thirteen's leg and Thirteen slipped on a chicken wing, flying into the dust brawl. Nami watched with twitching lips and Vivi laughed. White stood on the table and tilted his head before jumping into the dust brawl too.

Usopp went flying out of the dust brawl with swollen lips before a chain flew out and dragged him back inside.

Vivi fell over laughing while the King of Alabasta, Viper, smiled.

A while later~

The crew

was in a bath house, sitting in the hot baths.

Thirteen was standing on the edge of the bath and stuck his tail in the water before taking it out at the speed of light. He backed off but was pushed into the water from behind, his towel flying off as his bandaged body fell in head first.

Luffy stood there naked with his hands on his hips as he laughed "Don't be such a sour puss!" everyone looked at him before Viper chuckled "Pfft!" The rest burst out laughing and Luffy looked around, confused.

Thirteen swam under the water and surfaced on the opposite end with his ears drooped. Zoro was coincidentally close to him and said "I thought cats hated water." as he drank from a mug, Thirteen looked at him before slapping his mug away with his tail.

Zoro jumped up and shook his fist saying "You wanna go, Big Cat?!" Thirteen blinked at him before yawning, making Zoro shake in rage. He sat back down and muttered "Not worth my time."

Thirteen looked at his bandages and tore them off, revealing his torso. His eyes stared at the giant new scar that was still raw. The water stung but Thirteen's face didn't reveal any pain.

He just looked at the new waist he had.

It was a good thing he was a Mink or he wouldn't be able to recover like this. His flesh had basically regrown and connected back to each other, making an extremely scarred patch of flesh.

The new scar started at his lower right waist, under his ribs and stretched in a line to the middle of his chest and back. The patch looked like a star with a ton of extra spikes while the trail looked like a trail you would see a shooting star have.

The scar looked like a shooting star.

It was quite impressive actually.

Chopper swam over, poorly, splashing all over the place. He was breathing heavily as he got to in front of Thirteen and said "You shouldn't take those off!" Thirteen blinked at him and Chopper stared at him with his little face

Thirteen blinked his eyes slowly and Chopper said "I'll put them back later." before flailing away in the water, really looking like he was about to drown but somehow moving forward.

Zoro muttered "How does he do that…"

A while later~

Thirteen was sitting on a ledge outside the palace, looking at the ruins of the city, wondering how they got so destroyed before his ear twitched and he turned his head to a marine not too far away snapping pictures of him.

He stared at the camera blankly and got up, the marine squealed and snapped a shot of Thirteen, staring at him in the moonlight. His complete body was revealed and his eyes glowed blue ominously.

After snapping one last picture, the marine ran away screaming in terror.

Chopper's voice was heard "Bandages have soaked! Thirteen, where are you?!" Thirteen decided not to chase the marine and turned around, going back inside.

A few days later~

Thirteen was packing his stuff up and walking out the door when he bumped into Vivi. She fell to the ground and said "Ouch!" before looking up at Thirteen's blank eyes. She smiled and said "Where you going?" Thirteen looked at her and tilted his head, she pressed her hand on the ground, when a tail appeared in her face.

She smiled and grabbed the tail, pulling herself up off the ground and patting her dress down. Thirteen turned around to walk away, Vivi looked over and ran after him, saying "Ah Thirteen! Wait!"

He stopped and she stood in front of him, smiling "I have something I want you to have." Thirteen tilted his head and Vivi took off her golden earrings putting them in Thirteen's hands.

He looked at the Earrings in his hands and then at Vivi, who smiled happily with closed eyes, saying "I'll never forget you. Though I used to be scared of you, I'm not anymore. I know what you suffered through and I'm sorry. I can only try and change things so that it won't happen to anyone else. The only way to do that is if I'm here so… I won't be coming with you guys."

She opened her eyes and smiled sadly, closing Thirteen's hand over the earrings. She held his hand with both of hers, looking at it as she continued "These hands… I know they can kill a lot of things but…" she looked up into Thirteen's eyes and said "Not everyone has hurt you. I'm not asking you to not kill, I'm asking you to spare the innocent."

She let go of his hand and bowed 90 degrees, saying emotionally "So please! As your friend, I ask you. Please try to not kill the innocent!"

Thirteen looked at her as she mentioned 'friend'. He thought back to what his mother said before walking past Vivi in silence.

She bit her lips as she heard his near silent footsteps walk away. She was about to give up until she heard a low and guttural "Fine."

She stood straight and looked behind her with an excited face only to find that there was nothing there. Her excitement died down and turned to disappointment which slowly turned to resolve as she smiled once more, walking back into the Palace determined to change things.

Thirteen walked out of the Palace and left into the town to the docks where he saw the Merry was for some reason.
