Heavy Rain.

The cake got cut by Daniel and his wife, everyone was looking happy, cheering for them, Daniel was also laughing with his friends when his eyes fell on Anna Standing there with a smile on her face, looking down A little girl named Maria stood there while her tiny hand lifting up, as she holds Anna's hand, looking back up a tall man stood beside Anna looking at his phone, they look like a happily married couple with a 4 years old daughter, living happily, while the reality was totally different, no one related to each other in the other way

Daniel was now sure about one thing, that his boss, Zain Jung was liking his friend Anna

The little girl started jumping in enjoyment as suddenly it started raining. everyone started to find a shelter to hide, hearing a cute giggle Anna looked down at Maria who was jumping while giggling

"Let's go!"

Zain spoke making Anna look at him as it's started to heavy rain, Holding Anna's hand in his one left hand while picking up Maria in his right arm he started to run towards a shelter as everyone was already going. finding something to hide under Zain let Maria stand on the ground

"I love raining!"

Maria shouted while showing her little jumps looking happiest than ever making Anna chuckle at her cuteness while Zain just gazes at them both while smiling ear to ear.

"I'm sorry Anna I couldn't see you off!"

"It's ok!"

Anna was sitting on the passenger seat while Maria was sleeping peacefully in the back seat of the car when Anna got a call from Daniel saying sorry as he couldn't say a proper goodbye when they were leaving,

Hanging up the call Anna looked beside her just to see her boss gazing at her, She looked into his eyes before looking down mouthing a Thank you, while Zain just nodded with a smile.

The rainy weather was still the same, looking outside the car the streets were fogy as if it was winters, it was really heavy rain, that Anna had to accept Zain's offer,

Leaving her bike there, they decided to stay in his car, and he can not drive right now as the streets were slippery and the view was foggy, car stood there at the same place without moving an inch.

Maria was so sleepy as it was already late night midnight, Anna couldn't let a little girl stand in this heavy rain, the sound of raindrops was like a piece of music to ears but inside the car was silent until now, no one dared to talk, Zain turned on the heater of his car, the weather was chilling yet the smell of mist in the rain was making the mood pleasant.

"I don't think the rain would stop any soon!"

"Hmm"

Zain spoke breaking the silence, looking outside the window, while Anna just hmmed yet she nodded her head in agreement

"So, ..... let's talk!"

Anna turned her gaze just to meet his gaze as Zain spoke in a casual way, he was bored as it has been almost one hour as they are sitting here and looking outside, and the most he could do right now is to ask her if they can at least talk, Anna looked down and let out a sigh before nodding her head as a yes,

And now! Zain didn't know what to utter what to ask, her cold aura was beyond anyone's expectations, enough to make someone speechless, just like the man who was sitting beside her, after a long silence again he spoke, getting Anna's attention once again

"So, um.. you have a good relationship with..... who is that guy! yeah Daniel right!?"

It wasn't an awkward question, but as soon as he uttered his question, he mentally face palmed himself feeling awkward, whereas Anna just nodded casually without letting out a word from her mouth as always

And it was silence again, what else he can ask? the answer would just be a nod right.

Zain let out a heavy breathy sigh, Anna looked at his side profile as he was looking at the road with his calmed expression,

"Thank you!"

"Huh!?"

Zain looked at his side slightly surprised he didn't expect her to say something, and what? A THANK YOU!

He was taken aback as he didn't understand why she was even thanking him all of a sudden, Zain tilted his head before speaking

"For what?"

"My bike! the repair-... nothing!"

Anna licked her lips a little embarrassed but her embarrassment got vanished when Zain spoke again

"Oh, that! no problem"

A smile plastered on his face, he looked friendly, Anna also flashed a little grin before turning her head towards the window as she watches the rain felling on the ground,

"Can I ask you something?!"

"Hmm"

Anna replied his asking without looking back she was comfortable now, but the next thing he asked broke everything

"Why did you adopted Maria?"

"Mr. Jung, .....it's a personal matter!"

Sitting straight now she just stares at the road and Answered him in a cold tone, While Zain just nodded before poking his tongue in his inner cheek, he messed up! everything!

"I'm sorry if-"

"It's ok!"

Zain started speaking again but Anna cut his words in the middle, ending their conversation, she tone was saying clearly that. don't. ask. any . more . question!

Zain nodded again ad he also turned his face to the window with his gaze fixed at the road,

And here you go again, the Sulking, the arguments, they were arguing silently, while the little one was sleeping in the back peacefully,

The night went just like that, no even a single word, no one dared to talk again, and it was morning again, the heavy rain that was falling everywhere, was stopped, the sun rises, shining bright

"I thought you left!"

"I would have if Maria wasn't sleeping!"~
