Chapter 5

When Lu Beicheng arrived home she found out that her third uncle was still around and he and her father were on a stalemate.

"How could second brother frame me like.."

Lu Ansheng roared angrily although he had not suffered in prison it still felt like an insult.

"Why shouldn't he, you're always on your high horse it was about time you came down."

Lu Ansheng fell quiet as he pursed his lips, he always looked up to his older siblings because their parents always separated him from them. Lu Ansheng bowed his head reminding Lu Guangping of when they were younger.

Whenever they shouted at him he would bow his head and keep quiet then they wouldn't have the heart to reprimand him anymore.

"I understand.."

Lu Ansheng said quietly after saying this silence descended on them quickly as Lu Guangqing drank some tea to ease the awkwardness.

"How did it become like this..."

Lu Guangqing chuckled how did it become like this he said, wasn't it obvious their parents made it like this.

"We are separated already there nothing we can do at this point. We can only carry on with our lives in silence...."

Lu Ansheng looked outside the window reminiscing their childhood, it wasn't a good one.

"I'm sorry I couldn't protect you guys back then..."

Lu Ansheng said softly to Lu Guangqing surprise he did not expect Lu Ansheng to say such a thing.

"It wasn't your fault, you were a little kid and very timid there was nothing you could do..."

Lu Ansheng chuckled any child would be scared seeing their father carry a whip to beat their siblings.

Lu Ansheng wanted to speak up when Lu Beicheng walked inside the room, she was wearing a blue women's suit and she looked especially classy and professional in it.

"Beibei!..."

Lu Ansheng called out he didn't expect that his going to prison would actually draw Lu Beicheng back to China. He was very happy that she had come back as this was her home.

"Dad and third uncle are busy so I'll leave you guys to it first..."

With that Lu Beicheng hurried upstairs she had been wearing heels all day and her feet had grown tired.

Lu Beicheng bumped into Lu Beihan as the fellow looked meticulously dressed she wondered where he was off to.

"Sister do I look handsome today..."

Lu Beicheng nodded Lu Beihan had always been handsome but seeing him so meticulously dressed he looked very handsome.

"Yes very handsome! Do you have a date.."

Lu Beihan laughed out loud, he was only eighteen he did not have the time to run around with women. He was going with Lu Guangqing to his company and that was why he was well dressed.

"Sister I don't have the time for girls, I'm broke I won't be able to buy my girlfriend everything she wants neither do I have the time for her. I'm only eighteen!.."

Lu Beicheng chuckled that's true her brother was still young, he shouldnt be messing around with women.

"Then where are you off to..."

Lu Beihan smiled excitedly-"I'm going with third uncle to Ranshen corporation uncle especially wants to show me a few things...."

Ranshen was their third uncle company and it was even internationally stable than their Lu corporation.

"That's good when sister's business has fully settled down I'll show you a few things too..."

Lu Beihan eyes lit up this was really good then he would spend more time with sister.

"Really!.."Lu Beicheng nodded and patted Lu Beihan shoulder.."Yes of course we Lu's we're destined to rule the business world..."

Lu Beihan nodded if only Nanshen corporation wasn't around then their Lu business would really be number one.

"Alright go ahead sister won't delay you..."

Lu Beihan shook his head, he didn't mind if Lu Beicheng took all his time..."I don't mind..."

Lu Beicheng smiled and went upstairs,she wanted to rest her head there was a reason why she didn't want to come back to China.

It happened before she went to France, her school held their graduation party that day and she had gone to the after party at night only to wake up in a hotel room naked. She looked at the blood stained sheets and tears fell from her eyes, she had been tainted.

She didn't tell her mother what happened and simply today her she had gotten drunk and stay over at a friends place.

Lu Beicheng smiled coldly that night still haunted her till this day, but her son where had he gone, who had taken him.

Three months after the incident, Lu Beicheng realized that she pregnant, it was at that moment she knew she had to leave, least she brought shame to her family.

She had gone to France and given birth to a handsome baby boy, her joy knew no bounds her hatred for the unknown man had even lessened when she carried her child in her arms.

She named him Lu Nian, but one year later he suddenly disappeared, she could never forgive herself, she had only left him to go get her keys when she return she couldn't find him anymore.

This was her shame and sadness all these years.

Nian Nian where on earth could you be!.

Two streak of tears fell down Lu Beicheng face as she hugged her knees, thinking of want happened in the past she couldn't help but wail.

Meanwhile a little boy sat down on the chair with a annoyed expression, he didn't know his daddy kept this annoying woman by his side.

"Come one Nian'er eat your vegetable..."

The woman said softly as she pushed the bowl closer to him, but the little boy flung the bowl out of the table and said coldly..."Only my mummy is allowed to call me Nian'er I won't accept you calling me that, because you're not my mummy and you never will be. My mummy is a kind and beautiful woman, how can you replace my mummy when you're not as beautiful as her!..."

The little boy spat out these cold words effortlessly making the woman eyes reddened a little bit.

"Okay I won't force you to eat your vegetables anymore..."

The woman bent down to pick up the bowl and chopsticks when a hand stopped her.

"Nian why were you rude to your mother, quickly apologize..."

A low male voice sounded,standing at 1.9 meters, his face seemed to have been sculpted by God himself. This was Han Zhanbei he was practically the ruler of the business in China and he was internationally well renowned too.

"Daddy I will never apologize to her, how dare she call herself my mother...she's not worthy to be my mummy I've said it and ill repeat for a thousand time if I have to..."

His mummy was smart, kind and very beautiful how could this dumb woman be his mother.

"Han Nian apologize now'..."

Han Nian stood up and walked up to Han Zhanbei and said.."You want me to apologize then bring my mummy here I will only apologize to my mummy. Aren't you very capable why can't you still find my mummy, I'm telling you if you can't find my mummy I'll run away and find her myself!..."

Han Nian whispered this last word,although that women was dumb she was also very scheming he didn't want to give her any ideas.

Han Zhanbei frowned and told Han Nian to go to his room, what a haughty child he was definitely his son.

"Sorry about Nian, he's still young..."

The woman lips twitched but she didn't say anything, in this entire house the only ones who didn't respect her was Han Zhanbei and his son.

"Brother Zhanbei it's nothing Nian'er is still young..."

Han Zhanbei nodded and started walking but then he remembered something and said.."Don't call him Nian'er again in the future..."

The woman's eyes flashed with hatred which she hid every quickly and nodded.

"It's better you go home today Qin Xue and don't come until I tell you too.."

Qin Xue bit her lips and nodded Han Zhanbei looked at her calmly before headed to his room. When he had left her eyes gradually grew cold.

Seems like she would have to work harder to become Mrs Han.

Entering the room Han Zhanbei loosened his tie and threw it into the dirty basket in a swift movement.

He turned to see Han Nian sitting on his bed with a dark expression, his eyes watching him intently. It reminded him of the woman from six years ago.

Even when frowning he still looked very cute.

"What's the matter..."

Han Nian eyes watered as he looked at Han Zhanbei disappointedly, he didn't he promised him that he would find mummy why had he not still found his mummy, where in earth could his mummy be.

"Daddy didn't you promise you'd find mummy, where is mummy!.."

Han Nian tears fell uncontrollably, he missed his dear mummy everyday and he knew his mummy missed him too.

"What if mummy has gotten married and doesn't want Nian'er anymore..."

Thinking about this Han Nian wailed even more he just wanted to find his mummy.

"Nian'er give daddy some time I'll definitely find your mummy..."

Han Nian'er words had hurt him a little bit, he was so capable why couldn't he find a women.

Han Nian sniffled and nodded he would give daddy more time he believed daddy would find mummy soon.
