Welcome To The Land Of(4)

The monster made its move again, this time targeting Jiang Chen's body rather than his head.

"Fuck!" Jiang Chen cursed as another loud clash echoed through the underground base, causing the lights to twinkle.

Boom! Jiang Chen managed to deflect the attack, but he was still sent flying through the living room. Quickly standing up, he looked towards the horizon and saw the monster walking slowly, groaning from time to time, as if saying something.

"Cough! Cough! What the hell is this monster? How can I kill it?" he thought to himself.

"Foolish human! You killed our third prince. You will pay for your actions. I will let you suffer eternal pain by swallowing your soul and your loved ones!" The monster spoke in a human language with a cruel expression before laughing in a strange way.

"You can speak?! Who are you?! How did you manage to come here?!" Jiang Chen asked, taken aback.

"Why bother?! HAHA! You know what? I'm here to thank you because you managed to kill my foolish brother. Who would have thought that brat would die at the hands of a human. As a sign of gratitude, I will let you live, but you will wish you were dead and beg me to kill you. HAHA!" the monster replied shamelessly.

"You...!" Jiang Chen was speechless at his words. He had never met such a shameless person or, more accurately, a shameless monster.

"Oh, as another sign of gratitude, I will let you know my name. My name is Scorpyon. When you meet my dear third brother in hell, greet him for me! HAHAHAHA!" Scorpyon laughed maniacally, then his playful eyes became dead serious again.

Jiang Chen felt the killing intent emanating from Scorpyon. He suddenly realized that from the beginning until now, this monster had been toying with him. He was curious about the monster's origins and purpose, but as the saying goes, a curious cat will eventually die sooner or later.

When Scorpyon saw that Jiang Chen was not moving, he knew what the other party was thinking and chuckled, "You're really curious, aren't you? HAHAHA! I smell some female babies." Then he turned his head towards the direction of Jiang Yan's room and sniffed again and again. "This is it! HAHAHA! God is really helping me. No wonder that bastard chose to take action and participate in this event."

Jiang Chen felt his heart tighten, and his breathing became rapid. When he saw Scorpyon choose to ignore him and walk towards the girls' room, he knew that he could not hesitate anymore. Either he would die, or everyone in that room would die. He could not bear it.

He suppressed his agitation by closing his eyes, and miraculously, a boundless energy came from the depths of his heart, slowly spreading through his body. The pupils of both his eyes turned pure red, and the skin on his neck slowly began to be covered by scales with a mixture of greenish and blueish hues. His right arm turned pure black again while the rest of his body remained the same.

Jiang Chen looked at his right arm in amazement at the sudden change. He had only intended to calm his chaotic mind and find a suitable solution to defeat the monster, but to his surprise, a warm current suddenly emerged from his body out of nowhere, and in a blink of an eye, he felt that he was full of strength. He clenched his right arm and was amazed by its lightness.

Crack! Crack! Crack!

When he stood up, all the joints in his body made a cracking noise.

"This feeling, where did it come from?" he wondered.

"Hahahaha! After I have sex with you, I will become more powerful. When that time comes, I will become the king of the Corrupted World. HAHAHA!" Scorpyon walked towards the room, completely engrossed in his self-satisfied world. He disregarded Jiang Chen completely because, in his view, Jiang Chen's strength was like an ant biting an elephant, and he was the elephant. However, Scorpyon's ignorance and arrogance would soon lead to his downfall at the hands of Jiang Chen.

When Jiang Chen was once again immersed in his new strength, he heard Scorpyon's necrotic laugh and remembered that he still had work to finish.

"Not good, this strength will not last long, and I need to finish this immediately." He picked up the knife he had used to kill the first monster, but when he tried to clench it in his hand, it shattered into pieces.

"What?! How can I become so strong that even a knife shatters when I hold it?"

"Hahahahaha! I'm going to kill you soon, old fart!" Scorpyon taunted.

Jiang Chen clenched his right hand and finally made a decision. The only thing he could do right now was to use the most basic and most barbaric way of fighting. It didn't take too long for him to make his first move, running in full force towards Scorpyon's body.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

With sudden bombardment of strong fists to his head, Scorpyon was caught off guard and quickly became a dead dog on the ground while Jiang Chen used both arms to punch his head nonstop.

Scorpyon barely managed to open his eyes, and he could not believe what he saw. They were the most frightening creatures among the most brutal and savage races in the universe. Those traits were too familiar to him, and as a member of the royal family of the Soul Eaters, he had the resources and knowledge about this race.

Everyone thought they were only legends, but what was he seeing right now? Those red eyes, with greenish and bluish scales and the signature black arms.

"Heavens! What did I kick this time? I'm dead," he thought to himself as his wounded body began to tremble in fear.

"How could you still exist?! You are cursed in this vast universe!" he hysterically shouted and questioned Jiang Chen, completely giving up on fighting back. He knew that everyone who encountered these monsters would eventually run for their tails. Even his old man, who was far stronger than him, would be frightened if he encountered someone that even the gods had trouble exterminating from this whole race.

As time passed, the strength of Jiang Chen's punches became weaker with every punch he threw, but the Corrupted Tyrant Soul Eater on his feet was now completely reduced to paste.

When the mysterious strength faded, his body returned to its human form. His eyes became blue and green again while his stomach bled and presented a huge hole. This was Scorpyon's last struggle, managing to dig a hole in his stomach. Earlier, when he was surrounded by the mysterious energy, he couldn't feel any pain, but right now, after the energy had faded, his body collapsed, and his consciousness slowly faded again.

Before he fainted completely, a distinct voice sounded in the depths of his soul.

"Foolish human! Your world! Your everything will soon be devoured and also become part of endless carnage! I'm waiting for you in the depths of hell! HAHAHAHA!"

"What was that? AHHHHHHHH!" She pointed her trembling finger and screamed in fear.

When Jiang Yan followed the direction of her finger, she was thunderstruck and nearly fainted. They saw a mind-boggling scene. "AHHHHHHHHHH!" Su Mei's ear-piercing scream made the scene even more terrifying.

Jiang Chen was currently hanging in the hand of the monster, while the head of the monster was missing and its neck was like a water fountain, splashing disgusting green blood. What terrified the two girls even more was the hole in the middle of Jiang Chen's stomach. His face turned white, and he was clearly losing a lot of blood. With the constant injuries he suffered lately, his resilience couldn't keep up with the rate of healing his wounds.

With the aggravating injury he suffered from battle to battle, his body couldn't handle the taxation in the spirit. Jiang Chen's spirit and soul were not enough to handle this great burden on his body.

It's a miracle that I managed to wrote this long chapter.

Cheers for me boys by reviewing this novel!
