The Pokemon League of the Kanto region, A league that struck fear in the hearts of criminals everywhere in the Kanto region... were shooting through the sky on flying mounts.
"Mom, What's that?" A kid asked and the mother looked at the sky, seeing fifty if not a hundred Pidgeot riders soaring through the air, heading to Bug town.
…
Red and his small group navigated through the thick Viridian Forest, their faces showing a bit of concern.
"Sure, Team Rocket hasn't noticed we left that bush yet but it's only a matter of time," Red said and then turned to Olivia, "Besides, Your Pokemon have been restored,"
Olivia turned to the Primal [Mega] stone, hidden in her small bag.
"I just hope we don't get attacked, Remember my Pokemon aren't fully healed neither are they strong enough to take on the entirety of Team Rocket," Olivia said, "At least the amount present in Bug town,"
Red sighed and continued holding Yellow and Hannah's hands.
"We rather don't have to worry about Team Rocket again," Red said, "But I should find a way to get out of this Rocket uniform before the League gets here,"
Olivia chuckled and turned to Red.
"You know, you look hot while in that uniform," Olivia said.
Red didn't answer her and in fact, He stared at the sky. Yellow did too, her eyes sensing the immense amount of power heading their way.
"The League's here," Red said and then Pidgeots shot through the sky, heading for Bug town.
…
Blue Oak, The young brown haired trainer in the Rocket uniform had found another way to Viridian Forest. He paid a grunt to let him through.
"Money solves everything," Blue said as he walked through Viridian forest, he didn't see any rockets in the distance and the feeling of safety washed over him, "Finally... I have a shot at getting to Pewter,"
But the annoying thing was, He'd have to walk all the way to Pewter city with the Team Rocket uniform and that was if Team Rocket didn't come back to chase him.
Suddenly, The Sky rumbled and Pidgeots soared through, sparking a bit of fear within him. He knew Red said that the League was on it... but he didn't expect to see so many Pidgeot!
…
"ID," A League officer asked as Red sighed and brought out his Pokedex, still thriving on Low Power mode... The menancing Pidgeot in front of him did a lot to scare him but still, He couldn't help but be glad that the League was here now.
Sure, Everyone couldn't be saved but by the League, more people would be able to survive the crisis of Team Rocket.
Red opened his ID and the League officer smiled.
"Ah, Red Ketchum," The League officer said, "Professor Oak has been very worried about you and it's nice to see you're doing good... but your choice of clothing for you and the girl is rather-"
"Odd, I know," Red said, "Tell me you got clothes?"
A little over 30 minutes later, When the sound and echoes of battle still rumbled around Viridian Forest. Red who was in a black suit felt happy, happy that he was out of the Team Rocket uniform and Yellow looked at him with a tinge of red painting her cheeks.
According to the League Officer they met earlier, The Gym Leader of Bug town would have to lay low for a while... Since the residents would blame her for the gym being taken over and Olivia agreed.
Next thing the group of 4 knew, They were heading to Pewter city.
"Fuck, I wish there was a PC nearby," Red said, "I want to bring my other Pokemon from the ranch,"
The PCs were located in Pokemon centers and the League checkpoints throughout the Kanto region, This piece of technology allowed them to transport Pokemon from one place to another... In Red's case, It was to teleport his Pokeballs from where he was to Professor Oak's ranch.
Hannah's eyes lit up with childish curiosity.
"You have other Pokemon?" Hannah asked.
"Yes, A big strong Charmeleon," Red replied, "A short yet powerful Riolu, A fast Pidgey and a Gastly and last but not least, A cute Pichu!"
Hannah's eyes brightened at the mention of Pichu, of course most of Red's Pokemon were common but she hadn't heard Gastly, Riolu or Charmeleon before.
Olivia on the other hand widened her eyes, If he brought such a team to her gym, he would have wiped out her team of Bug Pokemon... but of course, her original team, The team she was with now was more powerful than any other bugs she had in her possession.
The group continued their walk, treading through the uncharted territory of Viridian Forest... Red sighed, His Pokedex hadn't connected to the Network yet and he couldn't use the mapping functions it offered.
…
A week later, A league road came to her line of sight and a smile crossed Olivia's face.
"Yes! Finally!" She literally screamed out.
Her week of tyranny had ended and she was happy, just enough to kiss the ground but alas Red showed no visible emotion as he held Hannah's hand tightly before walking onto the League path and turning to Yellow and Olivia.
"Are we going to Pewter city or not?" Red asked.
Of course, The battle with Team Rocket had ended and the survivors were collected, transferred to Viridian city for recuperation... It had been brutal, at least that's what he heard but the Bug Town gym was now suspended and the suspension would probably go on for a long time.
But Olivia seemed to not care about that right now, As long as the strange stone was in her possession... She seemed happy.
Olivia and Yellow ran to him, their faces traced with happiness as they would finally reach Pewter city.
…
After twenty minutes of walking, Red reached the League checkpoint that had been stationed just before Pewter city.
Here he knew he would go through a thorough scanning by League officials before being allowed to go into Pewter city, They did this to ensure that no criminals stepped foot in the city.
"And yet Criminals seem to get everywhere," Red mouthed out as his grip on Hannah's palm tightened and he smiled at the girl, "Alright, Let's go,"
