Brock

The outskirts of the city of Pewter struck the city as a serene and uneventful type, although all Red could see was rocks upon rocks and a grim smile formed on his face... He was just on the outskirts, The whole city couldn't be full of people living in rock houses??

Right??

Hannah on the other hand had been loose from his grip and was up on a small hill. Her childish tendencies pulling Red into a fit of laughter.

"Come on Hannah, Get down from there," Red said and then looked at his belt, His six Pokeballs hung there and a smile lingered on the side of his lips once again, He couldn't wait to reunite with his Pokemon again... once he got to Pewter city.

Olivia on the other hand had her Pokedex in hand, taking a picture with the Camera function and Yellow... was holding hands with him, her cheeks brightening in a red hue... Something Red considered to be cute.

[A / N: Remember this is not the Ash Timeline and so... Well, Flint doesn't really exist in Red now, Does he?]

Pewter city was okay... in Red's opinion. It was large but rather backward in technology when compared to the big city of Viridian but Red considered the fact that they were a city that was in the center of two big problems... The first one was Viridian forest known for their extremely venomous and no-nonsense Beedrill, Red clicked his tongue in annoyance. He had met a great share of Beedrill on the way here but his Scyther was more than capable of finishing them off. The second problem was Mount Moon, which was a large mountain separating them and all other towns on this side from the bustling metropolis of Cerulean.

"Pewter city looks amazing," Red said, earning a look of disbelief from the girls who were standing next to him and these girls in question were, Hannah and Olivia.

Hannah tugged on his hand and stuck out her tongue.

"I didn't know grown-ups were so stupid," Hannah said and turned away.

"Huh, Red... I think you've turned blind," Olivia said.

Red and Yellow laughed.

"Oh come on, It's better than Bug town by far," Red said earning a look of disbelief from Olivia.

"Say whatever you want, I still think you're blind," Olivia said.

He had learned a lot from his last challenge at the Bug town gym, First things first, Don't aim to challenge the gym the moment you step in the place. Next, Try to gather information on the gym leader and their Pokemon and plan out your steps. Next, Challenge the gym leader when you're ready after incorporating strategies to defeat the leader.

Red was in a room in the Pokemon center, with Hannah who refused to leave his side. A slight frown formed on his face as he checked on the Trainer Page of Brock on the Pokedex.

He learned a lot of things, For example, Brock was the second youngest gym leader in the entirety of the Kanto region with Misty, the Cerulean city gym leader being the Youngest.

Brock was a man of iron will, dominating his opponents with his powerful Rock Pokemon and he was an Official gym leader, but his position allowed him to take up to trainers with 4 gym badges.

Since Red was a trainer beginning on the route of challenging the Quartz Conference, Brock's team would be strong consisting of his Quartz Conference team, set to challenge trainers with 1 to 2 gym badges, testing their abilities in the process.

The first Pokemon Brock was known to use against his Quartz Conference adversaries was Rhyhorn, a powerful Pokemon at LV. 19. This Pokemon was known for it's incredible attacking power but a keen disadvantage of using Rhyhorn was that, Once Rhyhorn started charging... It couldn't turn and at this time, A rivaling opponent could attack. But alas, The Indigo League and the Quartz Conference were entirely different things... The gym leaders stretching the boundaries of the Pokemon they use against their opponents to the limits, Brock's Rhyhorn was perfectly capable of making unique turns while charging and that's what made it powerful.

As for Brock's second Pokemon, It was a Graveler. As Graveler were known to be walking cement, Brock's Graveler didn't differ in this regard. Instead, It's Fierce Defensive as well as Attacking prowess could NOT be underestimated. Brock's Graveler was at LV. 21, posing a challenge to trainers who were set on competing in the Quartz Conference and this Pokemon was strong.

Red sighed and a stress mark formed on his forehead, He knew the Indigo league would be far easier than the Quartz Conference hence he signed up for it... But he really didn't expect it to be this hard!

"How the hell am I supposed to bring my Pokemon to the Level 20 mark?" Red muttered, He had planned to spend a week or two here but he might as well have to stay a month or so to grind levels.

Red stood up and sighted Hannah, her eyes immersed on the drawing book that seemed to serve it's purpose, distracting her from his brainstorming phase...

Red smiled and then looked at Hannah who was still drawing.

"Wanna see my Pokemon?" Red suggested and her eyes lit up as she turned to him.

"Yes," Hannah replied.

At the back of the Pokemon Center, there was an arena shaped field that was honestly pretty large and strangely carved in the shape of a Pokeball.

Many trainers were here, some lounging, some training... some preparing, In other words, There were lots of different kinds of trainers here and Red couldn't refute the fact that he would never be able to blend into the crowd.

His outfit had changed, rather than wearing his classic trainer clothes, He was settling for a new look for now... A black shirt and purple trousers with a pair of blue sneakers all bought for a low price of 100 Pokedollars.

Red found a free spot and turned to Hannah, detaching the first Pokeball from his waistband and expanding it, Red clicked on the button and a blue beam of light shot out painting the ground with an ethereal glow.

"Pichu!"
