Red wiped the beads of sweat from his forehead as he did his Push-ups, He was wearing casual clothes and training alongside his Pokemon… to boost their morale.
He didn't want to be left behind in the pursuit of strength, The more he was powerful, The more his aura grew in leaps and bounds.
He had ordered a new set of trainer clothes, similar to the pair that the Original had lost during his time in Bug Town but the Quartz Conference cap that he had bought from the Viridian city vendor could not be replaced.
So he could only wait for the Official Quartz Conference caps to be released in two months from now when the Competitors would be officially put in the Tournament.
Participating in the Quartz Conference wasn't simply about gathering gym badges and participating in the Big leagues but one had to temporarily sign as a member of the Ranger corps.
Why? Once the Quartz Conference caps were distributed, The Quartz Conference officially began. Each of the Contestants would have their name on the Pokemon league page alongside the amount of badges they have as well as the missions they have taken and their completion rates.
The missions were valuable as they helped boost the popularity of the trainers as well as entrust the Participants with gifts.
Unlike the Indigo League, The Quartz Conference would be filled with experienced trainers. And all of these experienced trainers would have to take missions, Each time a mission is completed successfully, It adds up on their name in the League page.
The gifts were given to the people in #1 - #16 and they were changed and alternated each year.
"I can't wait to see how many people are going to participate in this year's Quartz Conference," Red said with a little bit of excitement as he continued his Push-ups, "And why can't there be good rock songs in this world?"
Amongst all of the anime worlds, The Pokemon world was known to be the least in touch with the Real world. For what reason? It lacked proper anime, films and even songs!
'Wonder if I could sing some of my favorite songs here,' Red thought, 'And not to mention write manga too,'
The Ideas of a Reincarnator were seemingly limitless as Red was thinking of ways to earn more money as well as exposure to the world… but those ideas would have to wait until he reached Vermilion city and decided to take a flight to the home of media, The Sinnoh Region.
[Author's Note: Do you think that Red should bring out mangas like Demon Slayer or Death Note here as well as songs from our world? Well I'm thinking Yes but of course, You guys are readers and you still have a right to choose so leave your thoughts about this!]
Red thought it would be nice to have Merchandise done in his name and not to mention the amount of exposure it would give him as a Quartz Conference participant but the real question was… Would the people like it?
The training exercise was done on the ground floor of Mount Moon and they wrapped it up in less than 5 hours. Right now, Red had his Pokemon in their Pokeballs as he made a leisurely stroll back to the Pokemon Center.
He had decided to spend 3 days of training in Moon Town before leaving, After all, There was only so much he could do while in Moon Town.
"Haah, I'm feeling parched," Red said as he stopped by a stall buying a soda with pocket change.
Moon Town wasn't too small, It only had a population of fifty people but Red was sure given time, a few years perhaps, This small underdeveloped town could become… A city.
But that was only if they went through a Financial breakthrough, Most likely if the miners made a haul of some important alloy in Mount Moon… Maybe that could spell development.
Or they could wait for him to rise into power, After all, According to what Red knew, The current Pokemon League which was headed by Lance Blackthorn from the Johto region focused more on utilizing the resources of Kanto into the development of the Johto region… Something that angered the Kantonians a bit.
But he was the Champion, A pinnacle of power in the Pokemon world. Hence, There was a wish that someone from Kanto would take over from Lance… Red wanted to live up to those expectations.
By becoming the strongest trainer Kanto had ever seen, armed with his great knowledge, The goal was not too far off. As long as he steadily trained his Pokemon and focused on the important aspects of their affinities, Red was sure they would become goated before the start of the Quartz Conference.
Popping the soda can open, He raised his to his lips and drank it's rejuvenating juice, Energy spreading through his entire body.
"That's nice," He said and discarded the soda can in a nearby trash can, Cleanliness was an aspect that must be maintained in every town or city at all times.
He reached the Pokemon center and pushed open the doors, The still afternoon sun beating through the windows as Red locked eyes with Nurse Joy, her amazingly curvy figure sitting by the counter.
Joy was staring at her Pokedex intensely, She wanted to know… How successful of a trainer Red was.
His trainer page showed he was nothing more than amazing, In under a month, he already had his first gym badge from Pewter city although it was recorded that he lost against the Bug Town gym leader.
His Pokemon were strong too although they weren't nothing special but his town of origin as well as his sponsor seemed to bring about a surprise to her face.
He was from Pallet town and being sponsored by the Great Pokemon Professor as well as the Pokemon Master, Samuel Oak!
And then her nose was assaulted with a manly scent, permeating the air. She turned to Red who reeked of a work-out and a small smile appeared on her face.
"Good afternoon Red," Joy said.
