Weedle

"Good afternoon Joy," Red said, "I can call you Joy, Can I?"

"Of course you can," Joy said with a bright smile, "How can I help you today?"

Red lowered his head.

"I wanted to ask a lot of questions about the Joy clan but I know it's personal," Red said, "After all, Information like that is not supposed to be-"

"There's no problem," Joy said and then blushed, "We can talk about it now or you had something else in mind,"

"Yeah," Red said, "As much as I want us to talk about it in a restaurant, I double checked and know that there's no restaurant in town so maybe we could talk about it over dinner in my room,"

Joy blushed harder, She had an invite to come to his room.

"But that brown haired girl, She didn't seem comfortable when I came in yesterday," Joy said, noting Hannah, "She seemed to throw a scowl at me until I left,"

"Ohh- Hannah's not too into other people in my room, Can I come to yours?" Red asked with a little bit of a blush.

There was that feeling of embarrassment following each word he said, He wasn't like some regular dense anime protagonist who could say that without being embarrassed… In the end, He was just someone who wanted too many anime and learned a little too many things.

"O- Okay," Joy replied rather easily.

Red smiled, overjoyed. Upon hearing about the various clans that filled this world, He had been very curious and this was an opportunity to learn about the Joy clan especially on how to get a Chansey!

A Healer was very important in every party and in Red's squad with full-on attackers, A Healer was more than needed at this point.

Even with Oak's influence, It would be very hard to get a Chansey. Because even Professor Oak didn't own one… not in his team or even in his Research lab.

"What time should I come?" Red asked.

"Come to the counter at 9: 30, I'll be free then," Joy replied and then averted her eyes, "Excuse me, Have you tried the Shower facilities before? They're nice and refreshing,"

Red blushed at her words. Sure he wanted to take a shower but he didn't know he smelled that bad to begin with.

"Sure," Red said and handed her his Pokemon, "Please take care of them,"

…

Yellow stared at her egg as she sat in Red's room, on his bed. There were few cracks on the egg and her face showed she was worried…

Red opened his door and found Yellow in his room, His face showed an expression of concern as soon as he found that she was worried.

"Yellow," Red said, "You're here?"

"Yes, It's important," Yellow said and showed Red the egg, "I was holding the egg in my arms and then there were suddenly cracks,"

Red widened his eyes and smiled.

"It's going to hatch, No need to worry," Red said, "Although I wish we had supplements for Bug Pokemon,"

"Supplements?" Yellow asked.

"Yes… Oh Yeah, Olivia has that Primal stone for Bug Pokemon. Do you know where it is?" Red asked, He knew Olivia was not in her room right now. She had been the one out shopping while Yellow had to watch Hannah…

"Yup," Yellow said, dropping the incubator down on the bed and raced to the next room, She came back moments later with a Mega stone.

Red's eyes glowed as he compared the auras between the Mega stone and the Weedle egg.

It was a Beedrill Mega stone!

Red nodded to Yellow and she took the Mega stone to the egg.

Some silent minutes later, More cracks appeared on the egg and although Yellow couldn't see it, The Mega stone was serving as an enhancement… The aura between the egg and the stone were resonating.

And then it happened… In a bright flash of light, The egg shell broke and revealed a Weedle.

The skin of the baby Weedle was bright orange and the horn on its head was sharp and glistening in the afternoon sun, beaming through the window. In short, It looked beautiful and stronger than the average Weedle despite being a Baby Pokemon.

As if on instinct, Weedle started devouring the egg shells scattered across the bed. Baby Pokemon had the instinct to eat their egg shells to raise the calcium levels in their body.

After that, Weedle fell asleep in Yellow's arms. The first human it had seen… The calm scene brought a smile to Red's face although now he had to think about other stuff.

"Moo-Moo Milk," Red said and Yellow looked at him, giving him a questioning gaze.

"All Baby Pokemon need Moo-Moo Milk," Red said and then went to his Computer, "Let's search more about the Baby stage,"

Red knew about Baby stages from various Fanfics he read in his past life but he didn't know whether it would be wise to compare the Knowledge gotten from those Fanfics with this world. 

After all, Each world was different and engaging in Pokemon battles while in the Baby stage would prove disastrous to the Pokemon's health.

The screen lit up as Red searched the web and sighed in relief, His Knowledge wasn't too far off.

"The baby stage lasts for a week, After that, Weedle will be able to participate in Pokemon battles," Red said, "You'll have to register at a League headquarter in order to become an Official trainer though, You want to participate in the Indigo League?"

"No," Yellow's reply was firm. She didn't want to participate in any league, "But I want to help you train for the Quartz Conference,"

Red gave Yellow an assuring smile, He couldn't help but wonder why she was such a good person.

"Okay," Red said, "I look forward to our future battles,"

A little blush crossed her cheeks as she averted her eyes, stroking Weedle adoringly.

"Yep! And I will win them!" Yellow exclaimed while puffing her fists into the air.
