PSM-10

It was second day and Riolu was still sleeping, Ethen was worried but William assured him that its normal, a baby pokemon can't do training for first 30 days because they are weak and if they exhaust themselves then they can sleep upto 24 hours in one go.

After getting assurance from his father, Ethen continued to focus on training his pokemon, as there were many rocks and rock type pokemons so it was great place to train Fighting type moves of Scyther and Nidoran along with Metal Claw of Scyther.

"Scyther dodge, now use Sword dance again and finish this battle with Metal Claw." Ethen was training his pokemon when he suddenly got attacked by a group of 3 Geodudes, as these three pokemon were weak so Scizor didn't interfere. William was out to search for precious stones with his other pokemon and he told Scizor to protect Ethen from strong pokemons.

*Slash* it was the last Geodude who fell unconscious after getting hit from Scyther, out of 3 Geodudes one was handled by Nidoran and other two by Scyther, despite type disadvantage, both his pokemon defeated there opponent using their moves effective against Rock type pokemon.

*Ri..Riolu* Just when Scyther knocked last Geodude, Ethen heard a small cry from the Tent where Riolu was sleeping, Ethen looked back and quickly hurried towards the tent.

"Wow, you are finally awake." Ethen said excitedly after he saw Riolu looking around and was confused about her location. When Riolu heard Ethen, she looked towards the source of sound, after she saw a human (Ethen) she shrieked and got ready in battle posture.

Ethen knew Riolu must have been traumatized to get afraid just by looking at him, Ethen looked at his Nidoran who was also a baby pokemon (Less than 2 months old) and Nidoran walked towards Riolu, Riolu was still afraid and started crying after she saw a pokemon approaching.

"Easy, Easy Riolu, we are not here to harm you. We saved you from that bad guy. See my Nidoran is also a baby pokemon like you. We won't harm you." Ethen said while approaching towards Riolu, who started crying a little louder and moved more towards the corner of tent. Ethen finally got hold of Riolu and started pacifying her by slowly patting her head and saying comforting words.

It took a little long when Riolu finally stopped crying, though she was still scared but was a little relaxed with Ethen and Nidoran around. Ethen quickly brought bottle of milk which was prepared by William, who told Ethen to let Riolu drink it after she wakes up. Riolu hesitated at first but later when she saw sincere look on Ethan's face, she quietly started drinking milk from the bottle. Her face started easing little by little while drinking milk and finally after finishing a whole bottle of milk she slept on the lap of Ethen.

Ethen looked amusedly at Riolu and thought, 'Such a cruel life she saw after just being born into this world.' Ethen sighed then put Riolu gently on the bed and walked out of the tent, to get back to training.

Ethen's target this time was to reach atleast Intermediate level for Metal Claw and Beginner level for Steel wing in upcoming 7 days for Scyther and for Nidoran, to make Double Kick at intermediate Level along with toxic move which he learned recently to Intermediate Level, which was easy as in just 24 hours they battled with many small groups of wild pokemon who attacked them because location where Ethen and team was staying was only nearest source of water for weak wild pokemons.

Ethen trained for around 5 more hours and then took a break as his both pokemon were exhausted. "Its enough for today." Said Ethen then looked towards Scizor and said, "Scizor can you take care of any wild pokemon if they come as Scyther and Nidoran both are tired now." Scizor smiled and nodded in reply.

Ethen went to check if Riolu was awake and she was awake and was sitting quietly, Ethen really felt sad for this pokemon, he entered tent and picked up Riolu then asked her if she is hungry. Riolu just nodded back in reply and silently waited for Ethen to bring her milk, Ethen brought another bottle of Milk which was finished by Riolu within few minutes, she finished total two bottles of Milk in one go. Ethen though she might have had hungry nights when she was with that poacher and again sighed.

Ethen looked at Riolu who was looking curiously at Ethen and then he said, "Riolu come, lets meet my friends." For which Riolu nodded but you can see a nervous look on her face.

Ethen brought Riolu out and introduce her to Scyther, Scizor and Nidoran, who also greeted Riolu warmly, but Riolu was still little afraid of other pokemon except Nidoran, so Ethen told her to play with Nidoran for a while and she obediently went to Nidoran.

After just one hour, William returned with his Steelix, when Riolu saw them she quickly ran behind Ethen, she was afraid that these people were here to take her away from Ethen and others.

"Don't be afraid Riolu, he is my father and that's his steelix." Said Ethen while consoling Riolu.

"Is she finally awake ? Did you gave her milk I prepared for her ?" Asked William while looking gently towards Riolu.

"Yes, I gave her and this glutton drank 3 whole bottles of milk." Replied Ethen while stroking Riolu's head.

William laughed and said, "That's good, she must have suffered when she was with that poacher." There was slight anger and helplessness could be seen on William's face, he was angry on that poacher and was helpless because he can't go against an organization unless he has valid proofs against them or league won't fully support him.

Riolu looked at Ethen and then at William, and when she saw that William wasn't trying to harm her she got a little relaxed but was still vigilant towards William and his pokemon. Ethen smiled when he saw eased expression on face of Riolu.

"Do you want to train this pokemon ?" William suddenly asked.

Ethen smiled because he wanted to but still looked towards Riolu who was looking curiously towards him and asked her, "Riolu, do you want to join my team ? As of now I have Scyther and Nidoran here in my team and if you agree then you will become third member of team." Riolu first curiously looked at Ethen then suddenly smiled and nodded, as soon as she was born she was kidnapped by that bad human, after that she was kept hungry for whole day and used to get milk only once a day which wasn't sufficient for her, then she use to get threatened by those baddy looking pokemons, so when she finally got a chance she ran from that place but was chased by that bad snake. She thought she will die but was rescued by Ethen (though it was William but she thinks Ethen saved her) and he gave her milk too and didn't scare her. She was getting treated nicely here so she wanted to stay with Ethen that's why she agreed as soon as Ethen asked her to join his team.

Ethen smiled and took out one of the pokeball which was bought by his father and registered under his trainer ID to and looked at Riolu, who first looked at Ethen and then back to pokeball he was holding, she pressed the white button in the middle and got sucked by a red color light, pokeball shook once and then stopped to show that pokemon was captured. Ethen quickly called Riolu back out who jumped in the lap of Ethen as soon as she came out.

William smiled and then looked at Ethen and asked, "Do you want to check her potential ?"

"Potential doesn't matter to me much because I can increase it with enough patience but I still want to know what moves she knows so I can start training her after she is one month old." Ethen replied and looked gently at Riolu.

William was proud to hear reply from his son, even in his own opinion no pokemon is bad and even if it has bad potential it can be upgraded with enough resources and after certain period. He took out his pokedex to scan data of Riolu,

Ethen was happy to see Blaze Kick as one of the egg moves, which can become really beneficial in future battles, he didn't care about Riolu being Silver Potential as its good because he can upgrade her potential with enough resources.

"Wow Riolu you have really good set of moves, I can't wait to start training you." Said Ethen excitedly, though Riolu didn't understand what Ethen was saying but she still smiled happily because she saw how excited Ethen was.

It was already late, so William prepared food for everyone and Ethen was there helping him while learning as well because in future after graduation when he will leave for his journey he will have to rely on himself for his food.

After everyone had their fill, everyone returned to the tent except Pidgeot and Magnezon who were responsible for protecting group from attacks in night.
