[Pewter City, Kanto]

Lan finally made his way into Pewter after a couple of hours of him running.

"I am getting so tired of using aura to help me. It helps me with my control and it seems to help increase my stamina a bit but it is just so boring"

Lan then admired the view of Pewter City. It was a very large city and was surrounded by mountains on all sides. All the roads were made of stone and there where boulders everywhere. Lan needed to find the Pokemon Center to take care of some things.

Lan just entered the massive Pokemon Center to heal his Pokemon and make sure that they all are doing alright. He walked up to the counter greeted by the pink-haired nurse.

"Hello, Nurse Joy would you be able to take a look at my pokemon?"

Nurse Joy went into a daze when she looked at Lan. He was tall and handsome yet had a sort of wild feeling about him. She could see his muscular figure by the way his shirt hung on him but she was more shocked when she noticed his bright piercing golden eyes.

Lan waved his hand trying to get her attention and snap out of her daze. Nurse Joy lived up to her name as a True professional and quickly snapped out of her trance. She then replied with a kind smile and said "Yes, definitely just give them here and I will take great care of them. First I just need your trainer ID."

Lan nodded his head and gave her his New ID while asking "I would like to sell a few wild Pokemon that I caught earlier what level is the mart on here?"

"Yes, Mr. Gold, our trainer commons, item mart, trading machine and quest board is on the second floor while our Leauge Shop where trainers can buy and sell a variety of Pokemon.

"Haha, You don't have to be so formal Ms. Joy. Just call me Gold"

Lan said with a genuine smile. Nurse Joy blushed which went unnoticed to Lan who continued "But to make it up to me can you talk about things that are happening in town? Are there any places that I should visit while I am here?"

Nurse Joy smiled and energetically responded" Oh yes definitely. Let me first start with that Pewter City is known for its rocks and ores that are found in the Mountains around here. There are many Rock and Ground-type Pokemon here as a result and many miners and companies come here daily with their Pokemon to dig to find rare materials. We have many famous bakeries and taverns around here that are well known for their fresh bread. If you are interested in history you would enjoy the Pewter City Museum where you can learn about the History of the town and Ancient Pokemon."

Lan"Ancient Pokemon?" 'I can't remember what ancient pokemon Kanto had'

"Yes, Ancient Pokemon well more like Ancient fossils and relics. Some fossils have been mined in the mountains around Pewter City are put on display there. There are always guests and residents that go to the museum for seminars from various scientists."

Lan "Mhmm that does sound interesting I think I will have to check it out later. Also, could I get a room for a night?"

She nodded and replied while typing into the computer "I put you down for room 408. You can use your ID to unlock the door. Your pokemon will be done in an hour. I hope that you enjoy your stay." She said while smiling.

Lan nodded and made his way to his room to rest for a bit before he headed out.

Lan then made his way to the third floor where the league shop was located. This is the official store where trainers can buy some common and sometimes rare Pokemon. Trainers can trade caught pokemon for Poke at a discounted price. The Pokemon is then given a thorough check-up and then auctioned at the shop or sent to another store or gym for them to take care of. This was done to help fight against the increasing number of Black Markets which often used poachers and sold mistreated Pokemon.

Lan walked through the store to view the Pokemon here. They ranged from Pidgey, Zubat, and Geodude to Machop or a Magnetite.

Lan then went and got the four Pokemon appraised he wanted to keep a Scyther for his substitute team, but mostly because it could be of use in sneak attacks. Most appraisals are based on the Pokemon's Breed, Health and Age He was given the buying price of

Scyther 80.000 P x 2 = 160.000 P

Beedrill 12.000P x 2 = 24.000 P

giving him a total of 184.000 P which was directly deposited into his account.

Lan quickly left and decided to roam the city before challenging the gym in the morning.

Lan, toured the city and bought food and treats for his team. He bought some adjustable weights to help his Pokemon train. He also bought some items that he was out of stock on like potions, berries, and Pokeballs. Thus lowering his account balance a little.

He eventually made his way over to the Museum where he slid into the back of a fossil Lecture. Lan learned many things but the only thing that stood out to him where the pictures of the three main fossils of Kanto and that there is a lab at Cinnabar Island that can now resurrect the ancient Pokemon from their fossils.

[Slum District, Pewter City]

With his curiosity now satisfied earlier this morning, Lan headed towards the local black market while putting on his mask and black clothes. He walked around in the shadows looking at the various stalls until he found a place that sold information.

Lan made his way to a rundown shack where he was helped by a receptionist and brought to a back room that was professional looking contrary to the outside appearance.

A man in a suit entered and asked "What can I help you with?"

Lan" I want to buy information"

Broker"You can but it will cost you. What do you want to find out."

Lan"Cross-regional Poaching groups and Team Rocket Activities"

The Broker gave a crooked smile and nodded saying " 200,000".

Lan gritted his teeth as that would only leave him with around 3000P Left. He reluctantly nodded and transferred the money.

The broker smiled and then went to a file cabinet and after a couple of minutes pulled out a file. He then passed Lan a flash drive with the contents and said

"Here is the list of Kanto and Jhoto Poachers the largest ones reside in Jhoto. The approximate locations of their territory are in there also. Consider it a gift.

Matters pertaining to Team Rocket have to be given in conversation without traces sorry. The current active locations for Team Rocket are Mt. Moon, Cerulean City, and Celedon City."

Lan nodded and swiped the drive and quickly disappeared.

Once Lan had left the room the Broker sneered saying "Somone who is actually investigating Team Rocket. Good Riddance I will have to tell the boss that someone is investigating our activities so he can get rid of him. He did resemble that poster of Phantom... but I have seen so many people with those masks. Ohh well." He then preceded to take off his jacket showing a polo sporting a red "R".
