Route 2 and Bel

[P.O.V Touya]

Route 2 was not very complicated, some fighting here other attacks from Lillipups and Patrats there and some potion on the ground for some reason.

What most caught my attention was a sinister little tree at the end of the road.

The little tree is small and could just walk over it, but for some reason I feel like I shouldn't.

Anyway, I kept walking until I reached the end of the road when I was intercepted by a wild Bel.

"Touya let's have a match!" Bel said excitedly.

"Bel, we had a match a few hours ago, could you at least wait to get the first badge?" I said in shock.

"Ohhh, come on, don't be so Cheren" Bel said throwing a tantrum.

"Cheren never, go ahead!" I said excitedly.

The match was a lot like last time, but it made me realize that I need another partner.

"Wow, you have become very strong in a short time, as expected of you" Bel said a little sad.

"May I give you some advice?, You should think at least a little and not attack erratically" I said with a thoughtful tone.

"Mmmm, I'll think about it" Bel said putting a hand on her chin.

"See you Touya!" Bel said to then go to the city.

Upon arrival I looked at the map and realized that this is the Striaton City.

We went to the pokémon center first and then I went to tease Cheren.

I crept into the trainers school and sat in one of the chairs across the way.

The students noticed my presence and seemed a bit confused.

"Well students, do you have any questions?" Cheren said as he turned his back to us and looked at the board.

"How is your love life going professor?" I said in a slightly different voice.

"My love life is not part of the class" Cheren said a little annoyed, but still without turning around.

"I would say that you have a certain attraction for a blonde haired girl for years" I said holding back a laugh.

"How do you know that-?" Cheren said turning to see with a red face.

"How do I know what Cheren?" I said with a smile.

At that Cheren turned even redder.

"You discovered yourself, I didn't say anything" I said innocently.

"Osha Osha Osha!" Oshawott said as he laughed.

Some students began to whisper things about their teacher.

"W-what are you doing here Touya?" Cheren said turning his shame into anger.

"Well, I was bored and I said to myself 'what better than annoy Cheren' and well here I am" I said with a smile.

At that Cheren had a tic in his eye and a vein marked on his forehead.

"You know, if you ask her to go out you will get a surprise" I said doing jazz hands.

"Get out of my class Touya!" Cheren said throwing an eraser at Touya.

"Yes sir" I said as I dodged the eraser, grabbed Oshawott and ran off.

We both went to the Striation City gym and we met a man with green hair and dressed as a butler.

"Excuse me, are you the gym leader?" I asked curiously.

"That's right, I'm Cilan gym leader and Pokémon connoisseur, it's a pleasure to meet you challenger" said Cilan doing various poses.

'It's too extravagant' I thought with a nervous smile.

"Ohh, so you chose Oshawott, I recommend you look for a fire type pokémon to beat me" Cilan said with a smile.

"I'll be waiting for you inside" said Cilan before entering the gym.

"Did you understand what happened?" I asked Oshawott in confusion.

"Osha?" Oshawott said also in confusion.

"Well, I suppose I should catch a fire-type pokémon, but where?" I said thoughtfully.

I took out the map and looked in the nearby places.

"Ohh, apparently there is something called the dreamyard to the east" I said in surprise.

"Well, I don't lose anything with checking" I said to then go east.

In the dreamyard there was a strange aura and I would even dare to say mystical.

We fought with several trainers and I came across another malefic tree.

"There must be something very wrong with these little trees" I said looking at it suspiciously.

"Osha?" Oshawott said looking at Touya like he was crazy.

"Hey you!" a young woman said suddenly.

"What happens?" I asked in surprise.

"I see you chose Oshawott as your initial, you could use this fire guy" said the young woman showing a Pansear.

"Why are you so suddenly giving me your pokémon?" I asked suspiciously.

"The Pansears are too hyperactive and I'm not a trainer or I have a lot of energy, so I can't take proper care of him" said the young woman with a bit of sadness.

"Promise me that you will take care of him, or that you will find someone who can rival his energy" said the young woman with a serious tone and a little concern.

I looked at the Pansear for a few seconds until that.

"Pan Pansear!" the Pansear said and then leapt towards Touya and grabbed his arm.

"I promise" I said with a smile.

"Thank you!" said the young woman and then give me a pokeball and leave.

"Welcome to the team, but we will have to train a little before the gym" I said with a smile.

"Osha Osha! / Pan Pansear!" the pokémon said with determination.

"Let's go then!" I said with determination.
