Ch 13: Official License

Mike after some search finally found his destination, where he was going to take his Pokemon trainer license.

This was league official department. Here many people come to take there Pokémon trainer license.

He come before the receptionist and asked about his appointment time." Hello, miss can you check when was my turn."

"Hello, Please give me your appointment form and the official ID." Said the receptionist lady with a professional smile.

"Thank you for the wait. Here is your number plate for the visit. Please head towards 3rd floor room number 302. You can get straight in there. Mr. Jayden will be waiting for you there."

After hearing form the lady with official uniform. Mike heard towards the place. He come in front of the room. Upon opening the door, he was face up against a staff member who were the same uniform as the receptionist lady.

The man looks about 30ish. Getting his plate and checking in his computer, the man finally take him to a room.

He said the inspection Jayden will be here any moment. He waits for a moment before the door opposite to him open. Upon opening comes man in his 60+ with grey hair. Although look old but he has a well maintained body. He wear a black tights shut with a blue tie, and a navy blue shirt underneath.

"Hello, my name is Jayden Bailey. The official Pokémon license inspector of Goldenrod city. It was a pleasure to meet you Mr. Mike." Said the older man with a smile. Then they do a handshake.

After that the old man sit down on his chair and turn on his computer. He then told Mike to again read some documents and signed up again.

Then they finish off the meeting with the old man asking him some questions about why want to be a Pokemon trainer and other things.

Mike said what he wants and thought about the topic that come in mind, he answered everything that was asked. The meeting was almost done after about a hour.

"Before getting your Pokemon trainer license. Please bring out your Pokemon, so I can assist it's level and if it was even yours to begin with." The old man said with a smile on his wrinkly face.

Mike send out his Sandslash, as he has planned. Seeing this the old man, who Mike learned was about as strong as a Gym leaders level trainer, when he was active in the field.

"Wow! This Sandslash was already in the High Advanced Rank already. It seems you train it very well. With this you can already get into the league tournament.

I can tell the bond between you two. Even though we still have to check it. Come here towards the machine. It was recently devolved by professor Oak for the league to determine a Pokemon and it's trainer." The old man took Mike toward a giant size Pokemon machine.

It was able to scan and tall the bond between trainer and its Pokemon. This can happen to every trainer who catch a Pokemon through a PokeBall.

They created some short of invisible semi bond between them. The bond between them become stronger the more they fight and care for each other.

The bond concept was very broad and mysterious. Pokemon Proff. Oak invent this machine to check this semi bond that was happening when a trainer catch his Pokemon.

So after some check up and the machine giving it's upgrade. Then the old man Jayden did couple of things in his computer before someone entered the room.

It was a young woman dressed in the staff member uniform like the others he saw. She carried a card that she gives to the old man Jayden before leaving immediately.

"Here is your trainer card, Mike." Old man Jayden give it to Mike after verifying everything again.

"Thank you."

"My pleasure."

The trainer license had his name, height, and bunch of other information, as well as the location to where he got it from.

Mike after finishing all procedures and left the Pokemon league building with a few items in hand.

He was given a Pokedex, 6 PokeBall as well his Pokémon trainer license.

When Mike was on his way out, Jayden who was on his room has a smile on his face. He then murmur to himself. "It was interesting to find such a strong beginner trainer. What do you think my old friend. How strong is the Pokemon do you think he hide."

Although it seems he was talking to himself, but there was sligh rifts in his shadow. Then come a Pokemon with purple round body with chubby little hand, with wide red eyes, and a big grin smile on its face, it was a Gengar. If Mike was here he could tell that it was Quasi Elite Rank Pokemon.

"Gann gann!!"

"Oh, do you feel about 6 more Pokemon as the same power or less than the Pokemon that he shows!! It is recorded that he was a Ranch owner before. It seems he was more powerful and talented than I thought." Said the old man to Gengar that was by his side.

On the other side Mike didn't know about the discussion that the old man was having with his Pokémon. If he had known he would have lought secretly.

The Pokemon that Gengar sense was the recently cought Houndooms. Yes Houndooms, Mike use some point to get them to unlock there other ability. He did this with the other Pokémon as well.

So now Mike has 4 Houndooms at Mid Advanced Rank and a High advanced Rank. The Ursaring was also at High Advanced Rank Pokemon also.

Mike then come toward the Pokecenter after getting out the league building. He was here to get him register.

Mike then come toward the Nurse Joy who was sitting there. He then finally get his registration done.

With this he was also given a badge case where he was going to place his earned badge's.

He bid his farewell to the helpful nurse joy. He then come toward a clearing. Then he took out Pidgeot to let him fly toward the Green wood town.

He was away for more than 8 days. He was going back to see the progress. Miss Cory should have finish with his house.

There were about 4 more days that was left. So he was going to his ranch to settle everything before he moves his focus toward the Gym battle.

While he was flying, Mike let Pidgeot move around the forest a little. He didn't explore all the area so he was going to let Pidgeot around to see if he find any Pokemon.

It took him some time as he spots some Pokemon he was interested in. With some time he capture 3 more Pokemon. They were Psyduck, Farfetch'd and a Phanpy.
