CHAPTER ONE- THE INTRODUCTION

Amber Williams, age 25, 5'7, model like body, bright blue eyes which made her stand out, heart shaped pink lips, long beautiful lashes and the sexiest legs any woman could ask for.

There was only one problem, she was barely alive, in a coma while her life hung by barely a thread, a single thread the doctors said could cut loose at any given moment.

Amber had gone missing five days before her body was found, that day she was supposed to be modeling a new louis Vuitton bag but never made it to the studio. Her family had kept the news from the press at first , probably thinking she had some special thing she was up to since she often disappeared from the public eye. But how had it not occurred to them that something was wrong since she never contacted her fiancé during that period and according to the tabloids they could not leave each others side for long.

On the fourth day of her disappearance her father finally reported her missing and ofcourse it quickly escalated and all news outlets grabbed the news, creating their own theories of what could have happened to her. There was even a prize of one hundred thousand dollars for whoever could tell the police of her whereabouts.

That money was a lot for some people but nothing to Brian and Samantha, Ambers parents.

They had expected fast news about their daughter but got none and on the sixth day they got daughter, in a park sitting on a bench facing the lake with a stab wound to her stomach and several internal and external injuries showing signs of severe torture

Apparently a couple had found her body while going for an early morning jog and immediately called the police as they thought she was dead, she wasn't dead though, luckily.

The doctors did all they could, they tried their best but that wasn't enough, Amber was in a coma and her family swore to find out who had harmed their beautiful angel.

The situation was so alarming that even her brother, Aaron and her sister Abigail had left their homes in other countries to console her parents and mourn her coming death.

Diana Raine Macro, better known as Raine Walter was what you would call a spy but not for the DEA OR FBI

Rather she was a spy for girlfriends who though their boyfriends were cheating, for news stations who wanted to know what their favorite celebrities were up to, she was not the type to find some murderer though, she wasn't some Sherlock Holmes 

On the 11th of August she got a call, one she didn't pick up because she was too busy having a warm shower for the first time in forever.

It seemed like her landlord finally fixed the hot shower situation, and apart from that, she took so long in the shower because she had to clean off all the dirt caused by her latest work

An actress had contacted her from a friend of a friend and asked her to spy on her husband to see if she was truly cheating like the tabloids said

The job had been fairly simple because the second day of watch him, he went out with some blonde chick, who was also an actress and acquaintance of his wife. They went for dinner in the middle of the forest, although it was romantic for them, for Raine it was bad, she had to lay on the ground to go unnoticed, the muddy ground.

She was able to use her camera to take pictures of them kissing and almost having sex

when she was done, she went straight to the actresses house and showed her the printed pictures and sent her a video as well, she looked like such a mess that the actress actually doubled her pay, so she got herself five thousand dollars at the end. Rich people would pay about anything for bullshit.

The phone kept ringing for another ten minutes while she was still in the shower enjoying the warmth

her red hair fell on her face every now and then, almost entering her hazel eyes.

she finally got out of the shower when the warm water turned cold, she wrapped herself with a small white towel, while cleaning her hair with another towel she grabbed her phone from the side of her vanity table and she saw the missed calls were all from an unknown number, most likely a new client 

Raine didn't call back, she was tired of rich people and their nonsense, for one evening she just wanted to rest

she got into a large tee and bounced unto her old bed to get some well deserved sleep.

Fast forward three hours later, the phone started buzzing again and that caused her to wake up, as she moved to get the phone, she saw the apple sign show, her phone had died

she cursed the apple company for making phones with terrible batteries and cursed herself for not plugging the phone before she slept

So she did that, she plugged it in and stood up from her bed as her stomach started growling, she needed food 

The kitchen was a sad sight, dirty dishes were piled to a corner, the floor had different wrappers on it and her gas cooker was dirty. she walked past the dirt to the fridge and the only things there were a carton of milk, an apple, two bananas and one half eaten watermelon slice

"well I guess I'm having nature's cereal", she sighed to herself getting everything out of the fridge. she cut the fruits into wedges and put them in a bowl then poured milk into it

She went to her sitting room and sat on her sofa, she didn't have a tv so she switched on her laptop to put on some netflix

Her mind went back to the actress of earlier, the woman seemed so happy went she gave her the proof of her husbands infidelity 

he was apparently very rich and she wanted half of everything he ever owned and now thanks to Raine she had enough proof to divorce his sorry ass.

Raine shook her head laughing slightly as she stood up and dropped the bowl on the table, she had finished eating now

She remembered her landlord, that pedophile would come tomorrow demanding she pay him for rent, either with money or sex. The man was a balding 50 year old with yellow teeth and creepy smile, she wont dare do that to her body

The ringing of her phone stopped her thoughts, she ran to her room to get it before the call would end.

picking it up she spook "Hello this is Raine Walter, what can I do for you?"

the woman on the other side of the call introduced herself as Samantha, Ambers mother.
