White Ghost wreaked havoc in Totto Land, clashing violently with BIG MOM on Cake Island. The aftermath of their battle nearly destroyed half of Cake Island, including the grand "Cake Castle," which was completely obliterated.

Three days later, White Ghost caused further chaos on Candy Island, almost killing Totto Land's Candy Minister, Perospero, but was driven away by the swiftly arriving BIG MOM on Zeus.

Five days after that, White Ghost launched a barrage of ghostly energy attacks on Fruit Island, nearly destroying it and successfully killing Charlotte Compote, the eldest daughter of the Charlotte family and Totto Land's Fruit Minister.

On that day, an enraged BIG MOM, wielding her emperor's sword Napoleon and riding the thundercloud Zeus, transformed into a fiery banshee and engaged in a three-day aerial chase battle with White Ghost over the New World. The radiance and momentum of their fight were reportedly visible from the Red Line's Mary Geoise.

However, according to rumors, even the strongest female pirate of the New World and the queen of Totto Land couldn't capture White Ghost and he escaped once again!

The furious Charlotte Linlin, upon her return, destroyed the half-repaired Cake Island once more, reducing it to ruins. The cries of souls being extracted could be heard across the seas surrounding Totto Land.

Half a month passed in fear and trepidation for the residents of Totto Land, with no further sign of White Ghost.

At this moment, Adrian was resting and recuperating at Fish-Man Island, 10,000 meters under the sea, reflecting on his recent achievements.

He had fought BIG MOM three times, destroyed Fruit Island, most of Candy Island, half of Cake Island, and killed the eldest daughter of the Charlotte family. These were his recent accomplishments. Several sub-tasks of the S-rank series mission "Charlotte Family" had been completed, and he received experience rewards. Additionally, he accumulated 360 trial points for his level 80 advancement mission "Extreme Trial."

Out of the 235 trial points he recently acquired, most were contributed by Charlotte Linlin, with the remainder from Perospero and Compote.

However, Adrian was surprised by the disappointing rewards from the three challenges against BIG MOM. Despite triggering challenge tasks each time, the rewards were increasingly lackluster. Out of fifteen rewards, none were specializations.

Even after a grueling three-day aerial battle with BIG MOM, Adrian didn't receive any useful abilities. He speculated that the frequent engagements in a short time will led to decreased rewards. Both the selectable skills and experience rewards decreased with each battle.

By the third battle, he only received 500 million experience points, which barely compensated for the effort invested.

Among the mediocre skills offered, Adrian chose three that seemed somewhat useful. The first was "Dessert Tongue," previously seen and the best among the initial five choices. The second challenge's rewards were incredibly poor, with choices like "Basic Shooting," "Intermediate Combat," "Dessert Making," "Armament Haki," and "Observation Haki." With no better options, Adrian selected "Intermediate Combat."

The third challenge finally offered a relatively decent skill:

"If not for the temporary strength boost from [Dragon's Power], I wouldn't even meet the minimum requirement for [Mighty Nation]," Adrian mused with a hint of relief. "Still, it can't be used as a regular attack, only as a burst move."

After organizing his mission rewards and clearing out the trash pirates and slave traders on Fish-Man Island, Adrian took comfort in the warm embrace of the mermaid ladies, soothing his wounded spirit from the combined stress of Charlotte Linlin and the mission panel.

In the year 1500, Abyss set sail once more, heading towards the Grand Line's Paradise.

A month and a half later, in an unknown sea area of the Paradise stage, Abyss sailed steadily. Adrian stood on the deck, tightly clutching a freshly delivered newspaper, his brows furrowed.

The headline read:
