The two crews began to battle, the smell of blood quickly invaded the air, and searing magic burned across the air, the sounds of metals clanging rampaging across the ship. Odu hurried out of the cabin, the wood drenched in scarlet iron, and the body of his people. He locked onto the very deck of the ship to find his best friend's head pinned to the ground by a spear.
Despair rushed his mind, but the desire for vengeance won out, and Odu began to fight. He dashed towards the decks, easily chopping through the intruders' crew. Odu raced to Edwin, the strongest man on board, who had bodies piled around him. As he dashed, Odu could hear the swoosh of a blade behind him, he swiftly lowered his head, barely ducking the swing from behind, "These men fight with no honor..." he thought before swinging his hips in the direction of the man to cleanly cut his throat. Squirts of blood covered his changson and his eyes glowed a bluish hue.
More and more men boarded the ship, yet Odu and the Asuwa people fought. On both ends bodies were dropping. Odu and a few others were still fighting despite the difference in numbers. He finally approached Edwin, who was slaughtering the majority of his people.
Odu blitzed in front of him, his blade now engulfed in flames swinging. Edwin intercepted it with his ax, however, was shocked to find it burned to a crisp due to the magic. "Ah, SHIT! my bloody FUCKING axe!" Edwin screamed violently, motioning his body for a hook to Odu's face. To counter, Odu swung upwards at the same time, attempting to sever his arm and disable him.
Edwin conjured mana to intercept. However, the fragments of mana conjured were useless to stop the viscous burn of the flames Odu produced, it was plenty to allow him to deliver his punch. Edwin's attacks were forceful, and Odu was a little stunned as he was struck. Blood flowed from Odu's mouth yet he still maintained his grip on his blade. On the other hand, Edwin had a scorched mark near his arm. Edwin smiled devilishly as he reached for one of the fallen Asuwa's blades.
In the other ship a man sat, his nose twitching slightly sniffing the terrain. "What's taking them so long to seize that ship." His silver eyes darted to his men, he smelled more and more blood of his men, his nose winching each death. "Do I have to do everything myself you useless sons of whores." The man quickly arose, his cloak following him in the air. He watched as Edwin and some Asuwa man fought, a sword blazed with fire magic. "I see.. " but the man was aggravated by the amount of men he was losing for a simple cargo ship. "Don't worry about it." A younger voice says, a small child that carried the same silver eyes of the leader. This same boy flickered to the ship in dawning speed, dagger in hand.
As he jumped to the ship an Asuwa warrior swung a blade towards him, the boy used the gathered momentum from his launch to roll and avoid the swing altogether. The boy then flung a dagger towards their neck. "GuGH" the dying Asuwa gagged as blood burst from his throat.
The boy soon made quick work of the remaining Asuwa. His silver eyes being the last thing they witnessed before they were violently butchered.
The boy watched as Odu and Eiden clashed. Odu was panting and sweat rushed from his head. HIs fatigue was the gateway to his final mistake, his flames faltering for a split second as he swung sloppily, Edwin quickly punishing him for his faults saw and thrusted his blade into the stomach of Odu, his fluids thrashing out his body. Odu began to fall, finally loosening his grasp on his blade. His expression blank as his life flashed before his eyes. "Shh it's okay baby cunt, go to bed " Edwin said jokingly, kissing his forehead before kicking him off the ship.
Shortly after the men began to load the cargo and goods from Asuwa onto their ship.
