Chapter 7

#charlie's POV#

We arrived at dillas' central park, i parked my Lambo and was about to tell skye that we arrived at our destination only to find her eyes shot, she threw her head backwards on the seat with her arm laying on the arm rest, i enjoyed the sight of seeing her all calm and relaxed, i decided to join her. I closed my eyes also and threw my head backwards, my right hand slowly crawled to her tender left one and embraced them softly.

"Uhh....what are you doing chmarlie?"she asked as i opened my eyes

"You were so relaxed that i decided to join you"i said still holding her hand

"I'm okay now, that was enough relaxation, so are we in dallis already?"

"Sure, we're at dallis' central park"

"I thought you find parks childish like i do"

"I do actually"

"Then why are we at the park?"

"I thought you love picnics so For picnic"

"At the park?"

"No, if we walk a bit further, we'd find the woods somewhere"

"Oh picnic in the woods, that's more like it"

"Yeah, let's go, grab the basket in the back seat"i said with a foot out of the car already.

#Skye's POV#

We were in the woods looking for a great spot for our picnic but charlie looked like he knew where we were going to have our picnic.

"Charlie, where are we going?, we've spotted about 7 perfect spots now"

"I'd like the spot to be near a waterfall or something, with large wet rocks at the edge, If we keep looking we'd find one"

"Arghh, okay fine"

We finally found a waterfall. there were rose petals all over the waterfall area, even on the stream the waterfall was flowing into, i knew charlie got this all planned and that explains why he insisted on a waterfall earlier. The place smelled nice like perfumes had been sprayed there before we arrived. There were two blankets layed on the floor like chairs and a large shiny rock before them like a table, i got sitted and resumed my admiration.

"Wow, this is so nice, like oh my gosh, i love it"i said

"I'm glad you do Skye"

We started suping and discussing randomly but charlie refused to sit because his legs were too long, they wouldn't permit him to sit on the floor.

"So you got this all planned?"

"Maybe, i hope you like them all"

"I do, dallis is nice, this picnic is mind blowing, is it the woods? Or the waterfall?, i love them all. I mean you just name it, i love them but it should have cost you alot"

"It didn't cost shiiii, it didn't even felt like i spent anything from my money, i wanna spend as much as i can on this date to make it a special one for you but i don't know what else to do with my money on this date since i still have more than a fortune left"

"And here I am, i can't even afford SASG or cheer without working as a waitress"

"Why don't you just ask your parents"

"My-m-my p-parents are d-dea- no, they're, i-i, t-they-"a tear rolled down my cheek as i stuttered, he saw the pain in my eyes and didn't know what to say next.

"I-I'm sorry for bringing them up"he said as the sound of the running waters took over.

"Well did you know this waterfall is linked to an ocean, if you go under you'd see a huge hole that links into an ocean, why don't you come over here and we swim"he added with a smile

"I can't, not in this outfit"

"Check the basket, there's a lingerie and a 2 robes in there, there are also extra clothes for me so don't worry about me, you can go change behind the trees"he said as mu eyes widened. He also bought me a lingerie, i always wanted to own and be dressed in one but not woth him, i would be shy as hell half naked in the presence of my classmate but i couldn't reject this. I got dressed in the yellow lingerie, before i was done changing my clothes, charlie had already remove his, he wanted to swin in only boxers-- that's gonna drive me crazy, his abs, his broad chest, his large shoulders, his legs, can i stand all those.

We got into the water, it temperature was just perfect, the stream was surprisingly very deep than i could imagine, my feet couldn't find the ground but thanks to my summer swimming lessons i didn't sink. Charlie and i were competing for who could hold their breath underwater for the longest period of time when he changed the topic.

"I win!, lets get out of the water so you won't catch a cold"

"Okay"i obeyed.

We got out of the water and got dressed in our previous outfits, charlie took out a remote control from his jogger's pocket as i just sat on a rock and watched him. The remote looked like it was a drone's, he pressed buttons on it, i sat there confused trying to figure out what the remote was for. There came large object from the stream, i knew what it was but i didn't want to jump into conclusions, i blinked to confirm if it really just emerged from to waters.

"A-a s-sub-, submarine?"i almost blacked out,

"Yeah skye, there's no way I'd let you go into the ocean without a submarine"

"But....."

"Get in quick, we have a long day ahead of us, we're heading for the beach now"

I did as he said. He was quite good in handling that submarine, i saw different creatures under the sea and started wondering why charlie was so good to me, sincerely i wanted to pay him back but i didn't know how because he could get everything he wanted with his fortune, i kept thinking of how to pay him back till we arrived at the beach. we got out from the submarine and he hid it underwater, the girls at the beach stared at us like we were a magnificent couple or something, we ignored them regardless, he held me in my wrist and we headed for a very attractive tent at the shore.

"Hey!"he shouted at the hot lady in front of the tent

"What's up with you dude?, why yelling?, who the fuck are you?"the lady asked

"How much is this tent?"

"It's not for sale, even if it was, you can't possibly afford it, it has all kind of cocktails in it, It's mine and not for sale"

"So you bought it?"

"Yes i did and you can't possibly afford, not even one of the cocktails in it, you think I'd fall for your borrowed nolvam?, beat it loser. I don't date losers so move on and get out"

"You talk too much, i would have asked for your number if you didn't have ill manners. I'd buy it for a million dollars"

"What the..., i only bought it for 40bucks, a hundred bucks is enough"

"Okay"he said as he went in his pocket and fetched out two hundred bucks, he handed in to her. "Now leave"he added.

She stood there and scratched the back of her neck.

"I-i'm.....uhh.... I'm crystal and you handsome?"

"Get out!"Charlie yelled as she left instantly.

We settled on a relaxation chair outside the tent, he offered me a cocktail which i couldn't reject. I drank half of it and left the rest of it. A man passed by with a black shiny horse which i found attractive, it's hair was gathered to one side of its body, it was so attractive, charlie smiled at me like he could see my thoughts, he went to the man and asked how much a ride would cost.

"No charlie, you don't have to"

"Yes i do, i actually found the horse attractive also, i wish we could ride together but i don't think we could both ride together, I don't want us to murder the horse"

"Its $500 for a ride, a ride lasts for just 10 minutes"the man said

"That's too much for 10 minutes"

"Please skye, you're embarrassing me, it's not too much" he said as i kept mute, he rented the horse for 20 minutes,10 minutes for the both of us each, i took a turn first. I enjoyed my 10 minutes, it was his turn, he got on the horse, it was only 2minutes after when he got off the horse.

"Why did you get off?"

"I'm not enjoying it actually"

"How?, it's fun"

"Then get on it and take a turn for me"

"I'm not gonna do that, you should also enjoy it, you paid for it so you should"

"What's the point in riding a horse when my legs are almost touching the ground, my legs are too long"he was bummed

"Well then ask the man for a refund for the 8 minutes left"

"No, we're leaving"

"What!!, you just bought a tent for two hundred thousand dollars for nothing, dude"

"Yeah"he said, he turned to the man who owned the horse, "you can take your horse now"he said as the man left without a second thought.

I was staring at charlie waiting for him to say something to m⁰e but something else stole my gaze from charlie, an helicopter landed at the beach. People at the beach were enticed just as i was.

"Charlie, isn't this beautiful....charlie?"i said with desire in my eyes, this was the first time i saw an helicopter this closely, the features were more visible and obvious. Charlie didn't respond. The next moment i saw him in the helicopter.

"What are you doing?, get in"he said as i didn't think twice but complied.

He started flying the helicopter, people's mouth were left agape, i even heard one of the ladies say, "awwwn, they're such a great couple".

"So where are we heading to?"i asked

"The arcade, it's 6:30, then we head to a restaurant once it's 7pm"

"Wait, it's been 4hours?"

"Of course, we kind of spent too much time searching for a perfect spot in the woods"

"But what about the basket at the waterfall and your car and the submarine, who would get them back to where they belong?"

"I've sent my bouncers to get them"

"You have bouncers?"

"Of course i do, why not?"

"You're such a rich ki-"

"Don't skye, don't"he smiled

"I'm sorry"i said as he landed the eggbeater.

"Here we are"he said as i got out of the copter.

We entered the arcade and decided to play the fun claw. He wanted to get a particular kitty for me but couldn't as it was at the farthest end, he tried a million times not knowing he had spent a lot, he wanted to get it for me since i got a penguin for him. He was frustrated, he decided to get every other toy in it maybe the kitty would slide a little to where he could at least reach, he did just that but the kitty stayed where it was.

"This shit it rigged"he said as i laughed,

"You're sweating, chill"i said as he tried one more time but failed, if i were to count the amount he had speant just to get that kitty, it would be over $30. He even payed one of the arcade workers to get it for him but the worker also failed. He didn't want to give up on the cute kitty.

"Shit!, this thing is fuckin' rigged"he cursed

"Charlie it's fine, I'll just take the jellyfish you won earlier on"

"Step aside, I'm breaking this thing"he was frustrated to the ass.

"No don't" i was too late, he punched the glass and brought out the kitty, he looked at the kitty in anger and ripped it apart but thank goodness no worker saw that.

"Oops, I'm sorry, i was so frustrated so i had to let it out in a way or the other, i murdered your kitty"

"Don't bother, I'll take the jellyfish then"i said as I picked the jellyfish stuffed toy and put it in my purse.

"You're prolly hungry, let's go to the restaura--"he halted as he read a message on his phone, "oh shit, I'm sorry Skye, I'll have to go drop you home now, i forgot i have a party to attend, it's starting in 30 minutes"

"Then I'll go with you"i said

"You sure?, my friends will be there, my friends are jerks plus it's a very classy party for wealthy spoilt kids, I don't want you to feel left out"

"I'm not gonna, let's go"

"I think i have some of my securities in this area, let me give them a call to bring me a car"

"What!!, how do-"

"Hey....yeah the arcade...limo?, no...yeah the Mercedes....black....ok" he conversed, he ended the call as we headed out of the arcade, some of his bouncers had taken the copter back to it's hanger.

As we walked out of the arcade, a black Mercedes pulled up by the road, a well built man alighted the car and handed the keys to charlie.

"Thanks Vinnie, get back to work"he ordered the man as we entered the car, charlie started driving, me on the other hand was still shocked.

"Are you a mafia boss?" I asked

"No, I'm not"he laughed

"Then how-, just how?, within seconds, how charlie?, how?, tell me if you're into some dirty business and you're about to sell me"

He laughed at my ranting again, "I'd never do that, I'll let you know everything tonight, it's a secret, i promise to tell you tonight"

"Fine, how close are we to the party?"

"Very close like we'll be there in seconds"

"Okay"
