Origin of Chaos: Legend of The Red Tiger

In the world of Zenon, where Psychic and esper powers reigned supreme, Alexander, the royal prince, was born without the ability to harness the psychic energy known as “Zet”. Branded a “dud” by the society, Alexander faced discrimination and hate, even within his own kingdom. However, tragedy struck after a brutal coup claimed the lives of his parents, casting Alexander into slavery, stripping of his royal name and status. During his time suffering as a slave, Alex’s rage grew even more and he swore to get revenge on the world that had rejected him. His chance for vengeance came after fifteen years, when he and a large number of slaves were forced to go through an inhumane gene-altering experiment. A huge majority of the slaves lost their lives, their bodies unable to take the excruciating pain from the experiment. There were only five survivors, which included Alexander and four others, emerging as new beings with supernatural abilities. With their newfound powers, Alexander and the other four unleashed chaos and destruction upon Zenon, wreaking havoc on those who once oppressed them. However, their actions and even their mere existences drew grave consequences, ones that may be far bigger than them. **** This novel contains serious bloodshed and gore, please don’t read if you can’t stomach any of this. Gene-Altering Experiment[1]

She had light green locks, which flowed down freely to the her waist, and bright green eyes, which shone like jade.

Her face was also very pretty, with fair skin, and her slender body was graced with curves in all the right places.

The moment she appeared, hearts appeared in most of the slaves eyes, all easily enchanted by her beauty.

However, the more Alex stared at her, the more he felt his disgust grow.

'I recognise those stupid eyes, a mind psychic. Why the hell would a mind psychic be here?' He thought, his eyes narrowing at the woman.

Mind psychics were extremely rare, even rarer than duds. Just like the name implied, they were psychics that dealt in mental manipulation of their targets.

They could create illusions, which looked and felt so real that one could hardly tell the difference.

They could also perform hypnosis, complete mind control, and the more powerful ones could directly alter and influence a person's memory.

As long as someone's Zet was weaker than theirs, they could exert full control over that person.

It was also why they were regraded as the most dangerous psychics, and why Alex felt so threatened by her presence.

Despite the charm oozing from her, he wasn't affected in the slightest, all it did was irk him even further.

His thoughts were finally confirmed, when the woman opened her mouth, saying a word.

"Sleep." Her voice reverberated across the hall like a soft melody, and all the slaves slowly dropped to the ground, fast asleep.

Alex's eyes widened slightly in shock, as he felt a sudden wave of drowsiness wash over him.

"Damn… it. What… the hell… is this?" He mumbled, his grip on the metal arm rapidly growing weaker, until his arms plopped by his sides.

Despite his eyelids growing heavier with each second, he still tried fighting against it, unwilling to give in to sleep.

'Just what are they planning…?' He thought, gritting his teeth in annoyance. His eyes slowly drifted to Tiery and the strange woman, and his brows furrowed into a deep frown.

However, despite trying his best to stay awake, his mind later gave in, too weak to fight back the hypnosis.

His eyes slowly closed, and he slumped over the giant arm.

'Why the hell do I have to be so… weak…?' Those were the last thoughts that crossed his mind, as he felt himself drift into the warm embrace of sleep.

The woman's eyes narrowed at Alex, committing his face and the scars around his body to her memory.

'Though it was only a little wave, he was able to resist it for a while.' She thought, her eyes flashing with a strange expression.

'That must be him right? Is that why 'he's' so interested in him?'

"That's good. Seems like they are all asleep." Tiery said, breaking her out of her thoughts.

Swiish!

He finally released Alex and Brad from the metal arms, and the two of them rapidly retracted into his back.

Thud!

With nothing holding them up again, their bodies dropped back to the ground with a soft sound.

Since his Zet rank wasn't lower than hers, he wasn't affected by the hypnosis in the slightest.

"Nice work, now let's pack them up." He muttered, turning to the lady before licking his lips lustfully.

The woman acted like she didn't see that, nodding her head gently.

"Ye—"

"Arrgh…" A low grunt unexpectedly sounded in the air, and her eyes widened in shock.

"I'm… not going… anywhere with you." Alex mumbled, slowly standing back up on his feet.

His head was ringing loudly, due to him resisting the hypnosis, and he felt like his head would explode.

He couldn't even see his surroundings, neither could he hear anything, except from that annoying, ringing noise.

All he knew was that something bad was about to happen, and he didn't want to be a part of it.

"W-what d—"

Thwack!!

His words were cut short, when Tiery suddenly appeared behind him, smacking him on the back of his head.

"Arrg…" Alex groaned, stars flying all around his head.

Thud!

His body collapsed back to the ground, with blood gushing out of his head.

"Sorry about that, he's a stubborn one." Tiery said, with a wry smile on his face. 'I should I have expected this.'

"I-it's okay…" The woman replied, not knowing what else to say. 'Is he even alive… after that?'

"Argh…" Alex let out a light groan, as he slowly opened his eyes. For some reason, the back of his head stung with pain, and he could hear a loud ringing noise in his head.

The memories of what happened just before he lost consciousness suddenly flowed back into his head, causing his expression to twist into a deep frown.

"Tiery…" He mumbled, clenching his fists tightly in anger.

It was then that he noticed the strange white ceiling above him… and the transparent glass in front of him.

He was lying down on a brown surface, and his whole body was encapsulated y the white glass.

"Huh? A glass…? Where… the hell am I?" He muttered, blinking his eyes in confusion.

Through the glass, he could see a bunch of a weird people, walking around in white gowns and thick googles.

Some of them were holding a thin syringe, and they all went about their business as if he wasn't even there.

Across the room, was another large glass, which divided the room into two.

There were a few more of those strange people behind the glass, each one keenly observing them.

"Hey!" He shouted, trying to lunge at one of them.

However, he immediately realised that apart from his head and fingers, he couldn't move any other part of his body.

"What the hell… is this?" He muttered, his eyes drifting down to his torso.

His limbs were tightly strapped to the surface with thick, black restraints, and an even larger strap was placed over his torso, pinning him down.

The only piece of clothing on him was a thin blue gown, and underneath that, he was naked.

"What's this… why am I tied down?" Alex muttered, trying with all his strength to pull off the restraints.

However, he couldn't even budge them, especially since he could barely move his body.

"Hey! Get me out of here!" He shouted, turning to one of the people walking around.

The man simply glanced at him, before ignoring him, proceeding with his business.

"Don't dare ignore me! Come back here! Take these things off! If you don't, I'll kill you!" Alex shouted, but no one paid him any heed.

"Can't you—"

"Stop shouting, you're just wasting your time."

"Huh…?" Alex mumbled, before turning to the side, where the voice came from.

His gaze met with that of a blonde haired man, who was also strapped to a surface just like him.

He was also enclosed within a curved transparent glass, which was connected to the brown 'platform.'

There were ten of them in the room, each one lying down within a similar glass pod.

They were all clad in the same thin blue gown, however, apart from Alex and the blonde haired man, the rest were still unconscious. If not for their rising chests, one may confuse them for dead people.

'I can't find Brad anywhere… so he's not here?' Alex mumbled inwardly, narrowing his eyes.

"Can't you see what's happening… there's no way they're letting us out. So stop screaming, it's pointless."
