Chapter 80

It was 7 in the morning now.

I woke up and started yawning. I scratched my back and got out of the bed.

I turned the tv on and started putting my clothes back on. As I was putting them on, I started hearing Gasper waking up. "Good morning." He stared at me and said "Good morning~" while rubbing his eyes.

He yawned and got out of the bed aswell. "Here." I passed him his skirt and he took it. "Thank you." I nodded at him and turned around.

"Happy Thanksgiving Gasper." I started walking away from him. "Yeah, Happy thanksgiving!" I smiled and walked to the door.

"I'm going back to the dorm. Let's me up at the front gate in an hour, okay?" He nodded at me and I left.

I then started walking to our dorms. There was no school today so there wasnt any teacher patrolling the hallways or school grounds.

I soon arrived at our dorm building and went inside. Their were people still sleeping while some were up walking around.

I came to my door and unlocked it. I went inside and closed the door behind me. I took my shoes off and stretched. I then went to my bed and made a bowl of cereal out of thin air. I had the TV on and was watching this program. Apparently, the people that went to space a while back found a new type of rock.

It was shaped like a perfect circle and was greenish in color. "What is that rock?" When I said that, a man appeared out of no where. "This rock is called x-12. It can be used as energy and can power a city by itself." I kept eating while he was explaining.

"Okay then. Thank you for the report." The man bowed and disappeared. This was one of my clones that I made a while back. He was assigned to the space part of things.

I kept eating and eventually heard a knock on the door. I stored the bowl away and got up. I walked over to the door and opened it. "I forgot that I have to take a shower aswell." He rubbed his head and I nodded.

I let him in and closed the door behind him. "Were you about to get in or.." I stared at him and shook my head. "Okay! I'll just go in after you." I nodded and went to go grab a towel.

I got my towel and said "I'm getting in now. I wont be long." I went to the bathroom without hearing his reply.

I turned the water on and stuck my finger in it. The temperatures rose the the perfect condition and I got in. I layed down and sighed in relief.

"..."

"What are you doing here?" I stared her down. "I can never pass up a chance to bath in this water!" She cheered around and water started flying everywhere. "Dont make a huge mess." She nodded and I closed my eyes.

My view suddenly changed to the inside of my house. I saw eri sitting at the kitchen with toga and was happy. She had my shades on and was playing around with a action figure. Toga was smiling and just starring at her.

I smiled aswell and opened my eyes. "Kenji. Do you miss your family?" I stared at her for a while. "Very much." Eri, Toga, I miss everyone but I had to go to america. Not only for Gasper but for a completely bigger threat.

"Dont be sad Kenji. You did the right thing coming here." I thought for a second. The right thing? No, I left them because of my own selfish desires. Being broken comes with the toll of not finding a good fight.

I fought against the gods when I was around 10 and won. I was even holding back quite a bit but i still wom.

I now hold myself back to the point where I should die but I dont because of.. Well no need for an explanation.

I fight villians with my quirks and since I don't have the fear of dying then I dont feel scared of them. Doing all this makes it kinda fun but I still have this drive. That's why I kept this villain alive for this long.

I stayed in the bath for about 10 minutes then I took a shower. Aphrodite also took one with me and it was nice. I got out the shower and she left. "I'm done now Gasper. You can go ahead." I was drying my hair off while saying that.

"O-Okay." He got up and went to the shower room. 'Your forgetting your towel.' He made a surprised voice and came back out. "Thank you!" I nodded at him and walked over to the closet.

I picked out a regular outfit and started changing. I took my time and got done in about 12 minutes. I then proceeded to walk back to the bathroom. "I have to brush my teeth so just ignore me." I heard a Yelp and the curtain flew back.

"K-Kenji!?" I looked up at him and smiled. "I'll try not to bother you okay?" He nodded his head slowly and pulled the curtain back again.

I picked up my tooth brush and started brushing. My body can clean itself when I want but doing it still feels right. I spit the water out and grabbed my deodorant. I put some on and said "I'm done now. I'll be waiting outside by the gate." I then walked over to the door of the bathroom and opened it. "Okay!"

I closed the door and grabbed another pair of shades. I grabbed the keys and left the room.

"Kenji!!" I looked up and saw Gasper. When I did, I stared at him with my mouth opened. He was wearing his leggings with a mini skirt. He had a shirt on that didnt go past his belly button with a jacket that did the same. He had a bow on the top left of his head with heels.

"What's wrong kenji?" He got up to me and tilted his face in confusion. I, however just kept starring at him. 'Is this what I look like to dave?' Dave was the orphan boy who had weird thoughts of me.

Anyways, I could see why if this was his image of me. "N-Nothings wrong. You just caught me off guard." Terrible wording. "Why? Do I look bad?" His voice went down a little. "No no! You look perfect!" I gave him a thumbs up and patted his head.

"Really? That makes me happy!" He smiled cutely and closed his eyes. "Let's go get something to eat shall we?" I put my hand out.

"Yes!" He took my hand and we left. This isn't weird right. Yea, friends do this all the time. (AN: Stage 1: Denial.)

We walked out of the gate and I called a cab over. He saw us and swung by. "After you." I opened the door for him and he smiled. "Thank you." He got into the car and I followed. "Where would you to like to go?" I looked at Gasper and he looked at me. We nodded at each other and I said "Take us to somewhere that serves good breakfast please."

The man nodded and started driving. Gasper doesn't get out of the school much so he doesnt know the city very well. He said that he feels safe when hes at the school dorms.

Before I came to the school, he told me that he ordered out alot, but after I came, I would usually go out and get us some food.

"Wow! So pretty!" I looked at what he was looking at and saw a statue of a bird. It had the colors of a rainbow on it. "Do you want to go there later?" He looked towards me and shook his head.

We kept driving for a while until we reached the place. It was huge and called 'Flow.'

Pretty basic name but hey. I heard that this place has one of the world best chefs in it. "Here we are. It'll be $40" I nodded at the man and pulled out some money. I gave it to him and we got out of the car.

"This place is so pretty kenji!" He had sparkles in his eyes. "Yeah. It does look amazing." I grabbed his hand and we started walking.

People around us were whispering but we didn't care.

We came inside and looked around. Their were many rich looking people and was huge just like the outside. We walked up to a waiter and asked if we could eat here. "Ofcourse you can sir! Just wait over here for a moment." We nodded at him and went to the side.

We saw a couch and decided to sit down on it. "Kenji. This place looks expensive. Maybe we shouldn't.." I cut him off. "Its fine Gasper. Today you can order whatever you like." I smiled at him and he slowly nodded.

I may be cheap with some things but today is a special day.

A different waiter came up to us and motioned us towards the dining room. We got up and started walking their. "Choose where you like to eat sir." I nodded at him and look at Gasper.

He looked and me and gulped. He knew what I meant and started looking around. "Uhh.. Do-Over there please!" He pointed at a spot that was in the corner and away from people. The waiter nodded and directed us there.

We sat down and he passed us the menu. "Take your time sir." The man bowed and walked away. "Why does he only speak to me?" He never once looked at Gasper. "I-Its fine Kenji. I dont mind."

I sighed and shook my head. "Well it doesn't matter. I'm starving." He chuckled and we both grabbed the menu. "Wow.. There are so many options." I also thought the same thing.

However, I couldnt enjoy looking at my menu because their were four people starring down my back. "I want this one kenji!" He turned his menu around and pointed to a steak.

"Get some eggs on the side. Its breakfast after all." He pouted but nodded cutely. "I'll get this one." I turned my menu around and pointed. I pointed at a meal which included steak, eggs, bacon, toast, grits, and pancakes.

"Wow... That's alot kenji." I closed my menu up and smiled. "Well, someone only left me 2 slices of pizza last night so that might be the reason." He blushed and looked away when I said this.

When he did tho, he locked eyes with Claudia. He stared for a moment then looked back. "uhm.. Kenji?" He looked at me with a 'sad' expression. "Its fine Gasper. They dont bother us and we wont bother them." He nodded at me and sighed.

"Are you ready to order sir?" I looked up and to my left and saw the waiter. "Yes. We're ready to order." He nodded and pulled out a note pad. "Tell him what you want Gasper." I looked at him and he nodded. "I-I want a number 6 please." The man nodded slightly.

"And what will you have sir?" I picked my menu back up and said "I'll take the number 27 but can you replace my sweet tea with coffee?" He wrote it down and nodded. "If you'll excuse me.." He reached down and took our menus.

"Please wait for a moment sir. It'll be out in a second." We nodded and he left.

...

The food was now here. He sat it down on the table and he left. "Let's dig in shall we?" He nodded and picked up his fork. He stark poking at his steak and he cut it in half.

It was raw. If he wouldnt have checked that then he might have died from food poisoning.

I got up and sighed. "I-Its fine Kenji. I'll eat it like this." I looked at him and stared. "No Gasper. It's not fine. You could've gotten sick or even worse if you ate that." I started walking away, not caring for his reply.

"Excuse me. May I speak with the chef who made table 14's plate?" I was at the serving counter in the kitchen. "Uhm sir. You can't be back here." I looked back and saw the man who served me.

I walked over to him and smiled. "I waited 20 minutes for my food and it was raw. You supposedly have one of the best chefs in the world in your kitchen and yet I'm getting this?" I pulled out the steak and put it in his face.

"I-Im sorry sir. Please sit back down and we'll make you another one." I tossed the steak on the floor and went back. I was getting stares but it didnt matter.

Those people did that on purpose. The Smith's probably told them to do that because their was no way in hell that a mistake like that could have happened.

I sighed and started laughing a bit. "Kenji..Thank you for..for doing that for me!" He put his head down and blushed. "Its fine Gasper. I'll do It over and over again a million times until they get it right." His head shot up and he started.

He kept starring until the food came back out. "H-Here you go ma'am." He handed the food to him and left. Gasper did the same thing again and cut it open. It was cooked perfectly with a little bit of pink.

"let's eat now Gasper!" He smiled at me and started. We talked about some things and even laughed at some stuff. He even fed me some of his steak which was nice. "I'm done kenji!" He put his plate out and sat back. "I'll be done in a second." He nodded and closed his eyes.

I was eating my toast. All I had left was my pancakes and I'll be done.

"Hey kenji. Whats your favorite anime? I've told you mine but you never said yours." I looked up at him while drinking my coffee. "Hmm I dont know..." I paused for a moment. "Well actually, I do. Its the one where the kid is weak, gets power, and becomes strong."

He looked at me and said "Oh that one." We both then looked into an invisible camera then back. "Allright I'm done. Let's get out of here." He nodded and we both got up. I placed a nickel on the table and went to the check out zone.

"Your total will be $75.26 sir." I reached into my pockets and gave him the exact amount. I grabbed Gaspers hand and we left.

...

We were walking around downtown now. It was a bright day now that I noticed. "Kenji.. It's too hot." He slouched on me and kept walking. "Let's get some ice cream over there then." I pointed to an ice cream stand and he nodded.

We came over to it and ordered a double strawed milkshake. I paid and we sat down. "Dig in gasper." He nodded and started sucking on the straw. I however was looking around. "Arent you going to get some?" I looked back at him and shook my head no.

I only got the 2 straws incase I did want some but I didnt right now. "Okay. More for me then I guess." I smiled then said.

"Oh yea, what was that game you wanted for your birth.." I was then cut off by the scream of a women. I turned my head around quickly and got up. I looked around and saw a child in the street.

"What kind of cliche is this?" I started running at the kid. I saw a ball across the street so I assumed that he was crossing the road to get it.

I jumped over some table and even pushed some people out of the way. I looked to my right and saw a truck speeding. I ran faster to the child and stuck my arm out.

The truck came at the me and the child but i was able to get him in my arms. Too bad the truck didnt stop.

It crashed into me and I flew back. I heard someone scream my name but I wasnt too focused. Right now it seemed like I was going in slow motion. Pieces of glass was flying by me slowly and people were moving slowly aswell.

Time resumes back and I was sent flying away. I protected the child and crashed into the side of a building. Rubble flew everywhere but I just Hoped that the kid was okay.

"Mister..?" The kid voice started breaking down. "I'm fine. Are you hurt anywhere?" The kid shook his head no and I smiled. I released him from my chest and he got up.

He came to the side of my head and sat down. He put his hands out to my head and closed his eyes. "What are you..?" My body soon started twitching. I could feel myself healing. "I have a basic healing quirk mister."

I nodded my head and slowly got up. When I did, people started coming to the hole that I left in the wall. "Is he alright!?" said one person. "They both seem to be fine!" said another person.

I heard cheering or something and started walking. I held the kid hands and walked out of the rubble. Flashes of light hit my face and I saw all these people.

"My baby!" A women ran up to me and held the child. She started crying and I let go of his hand.

I made my way out of the crowd without anyone noticing me. Dont ask how but just know that I did.

"Gasper. Hey Gasper!" I tapped on his shoulders. "Ken..ji?" His face started breaking down and he jumped onto me. "Your okay!? We-We should go to a hospital!" I smiled and shook my head no.

"I'm fine. That kid healed me with his quirk so I feel better now." He sniffled and nodded. I sat him down and we started walking away.

...

"Look Kenji. Your on the news." Me and Gasper were in the park sitting on a bench. "Yeah you're right." I grabbed his phone and examined closer. "I can't believe that you rushed out so fast Kenji. I-I wasnt able to do anything." He sighed and put his head down.

"Its okay Gasper. Dont worry so much about what happened already and just make sure that the same thing doesnt happen in the future." I put my thumb up and smiled. He looked at me for a moment then nodded. "So about before, what game did you say that you wanted for your birthday?"

He stared for a moment and said "I-I wanted dating simulator 4!" I chuckled a bit and nodded. Being 17 for my age was kinda old for freshman year. Well in America atleast. Gasper was turning 15 on the first of December so that's why I wanted to know.

(AN: Apparently 17 isnt average in japan either but whatever.)

"I'll get you the game but for now, let's have fun!" I got up quickly and pulled him along. I took him to the middle of the park and we started playing.

We played games like invisible tag but one sided. It was fun not using any powers or skills to try and find him.

We played some more stuff and even started playing with some kids at the park. I would put them on my shoulders and would run around. They got very happy when I did.

"Kenji!!" He jumped at me and I dodged. He tried again but it was the same result.We were playing regular tag now with only us two.

"You're too slow." He pouted and jumped at me again. He came by me and I grabbed him by the side of his stomach. "S-StOop it ke-KenJi" I was tickling him and he had no where to go.

He was laughing really hard and he even started forming tears in his eyes. "Fine fine." I put him on the ground and he started panting.

This was something to see from behind. "Kenji you meanie!" He looked at me and pouted. I rubbed the back of my head and fell to the ground.

"I'm sorry Gasper. It was just too cute when you were laughing." He stared at me and sighed. He flipped over to his back and rolled next to me.

"Thank you Kenji. I had fun today." I turned my head and said "We haven't even had dinner yet. The day isnt over." He chuckled and nodded his head. "Then shall we go eat dinner then?" I smiled and got up. I patted myself off and extended my hand out to him. He grabbed it and I pulled him up. "Let's go!" I smiled and we walked away.
