Galan went to Mariejois saying that he was very concerned with the damage to Mariejois and the Nobles, telling the 5 Elders that he was here to assess the damages like a good dog.

After he left 2 years passed

Galan got a bad call that the World Government was establishing a warlord system. He didn't like this, how could pirates be allowed to commit crimes without punishment? This was the stupidest thing Galan had ever heard.

But he told the Elders that it was a great idea, sighing that he didn't come up with it sooner! He was truly amazed by their plans and ideas!

He was told to go recruit one for himself as a show of goodwill and approval for the new division. Galan had no choice, so he went out to recruit a Warlord. Surprisingly it was Hancock herself!

Hancock on the side was shocked, saying "You chose me!? I thought…" Galan replied slowly, "You were the only one that wasn't evil… At the time. Plus, I had a connection with Shakuyaku, not to mention I have received many Amazons from Amazon Lily to join my special units, there's over a hundred of them."

Hancock sat on the couch and crossed her legs, staring at the screen, "Wow… I didn't even know." Galan snorted, "There's a lot of things you don't know. Like how I know you brought Monkey D. Luffy into Impel Down." Hancock froze and Galan waved, frowning.

Olvia sat on his lap and smiled at Hancock, "Don't worry, actually, he likes Monkey-chan…" she covered her mouth, giggling "Maybe not as much as you…" Hancock held her face and blushed deeply as Olvia laughed.

Galan threatened Hancock to out her to the World Government and kill her if she ever committed an evil act. Hancock agreed in an instant! Are you kidding? This man was her benefactor! Whatever he says goes!

When he got back he saw Olvia sleeping at the table with a plate of food across from her. He looked at the food and touched it, it was cold. He looked at Olvia before eating everything and washing the plate.

He picked her up and brought her to bed, before going out and grunting as he punched the seastone block like a wild animal.

Olvia turned over in bed, smiling calmly as though the sounds soothed her into her sleeping…

Sengoku said that Rosinante was in trouble because he hadn't contacted them in 6 months, Tsuru was supposed to be chasing after Doflamingo with Rosinante's intel but they hadn't known where Doflamingo was during this time.

So Sengoku was worried that Rosinante's cover was blown. Gaan told him how stupid they all were, even a moron would notice that ever since Rosinante joined, they started getting hunted down by the Marines everywhere they went.

Galan told him that he should've asked him for a plan, Doflamingo would've been dead already, Sengoku got angry and accused him of not trusting anyone but himself to which Galan admitted that it was true, he never counted on the plan going through, there was always a plan for the plan and a fail-safe after that!

Even his Buzzard division had Vultures watching them, reporting their movements in case they betrayed him.

Everything was seen with two pairs of eyes, one watching the other, this was simply to make absolutely sure that things went according to the plan. If the plan still failed then it was his fault for making a bad plan, not his subordinates for executing it.

He told Sengoku that he trusted Rosinante too much and where did that bring him? Back to Galan.

Galan went home and made a call on the snail array.
