Alexander and Nojiko landed on the ground where the battle is still going on.

He helped Nojiko down while he stayed on Earth Eagle.

Nojiko looked at Alexander with a confused look on her face.

"What are we doing down here?"

He showed her a mischievous smile but then turn serious.

"It's not what "we" are doing here. It's more what "you" are going to do down here."

Nojiko stared at him with an even more confused look on her face.

Without explaining himself any further, he left with Earth Eagle, but halfway through the air, he stopped.

"You need this to become stronger even if you might not like the way I do things. I hope you won't hate me too much."

He showed her a sad smile before flying away again.

She was just standing there looking at Alexander's disappearing back.

-----------Nojiko's POV--------------

"What did just happen? Was there something I missed?"

She was standing there for a reasonable amount of time before waking up from the noise of battle that was going on around her.

She turned around to see the battle still going about as she was standing there. Someone came from behind her.

She vaguely could sense someone trying to attack her head, so she tilted her head a little bit to let the punch in, then grabbed the arm of the attacker and threw him down on the ground while doing so she used her legs and put the person in a choking hold.

She then looked at the man to see him flaring around, trying to get out of her choking hold.

When she saw the man stop moving, she quickly stopped her hold so she wouldn't kill the opponent.

"Seems like what Alexander taught me works, but I think all of these moves won't get me far if I continue doing these sorts of moves still when I see him again I will make sure that he becomes the man on the ground right now."

She then looked around her to see a few of Marines running towards her.

When Nojiko saw how many Marines were coming at her, she got a little scared but forced down her fear.

'I can't get scared right now I still haven't beaten that bastard Alex yet.'

So she hurriedly raised her arms to guard the incoming attack from the first Marine.

She quickly raised her arm to block the punch, and when the punch missed, she punched straight with all her strength at the 1st Marines chest, the Marine staggered backward, trying to catch his breath.

The 2nd Marine punched forward Nojiko felt her senses are growing sharper every battle, but it's far from where she wants it to be.

She countered the punch by using her right arm to push his punching arm away from her face, and then she went in for the straight punch in the 2nd Marines temple, making the 2nd Marine falling unconscious.

With that, she quickly braced herself for the rest of the Marines.

-----------Alexander's POV--------------

Right now, you could see Alexander sitting on top of Earth Eagle with shining yellow eyes.

"It seems like Nojiko can handle herself for the time being."

Without having to look any more of her battle, he began to look at Straw Hat and his crew to see how far they have gotten but before that.

He heard a loud and really annoying voice going around the island without having to know how far the battle has progressed.

Spandam: "Worst of all, I triggered the "buster call"!!!!

Alexander just shakes his head in annoyance.

'How can someone be so stupid well it doesn't matter. His character was meant to be hated.'

Without further ado, Alexander uses his eagle senses to see if Nojiko is still where she was a moment ago.

Alexander looks towards where he last saw Nojiko, but he couldn't see her.

'How far could she have gotten? I looked away for just a few seconds, and she's already missing Earth Eagle to help me out a little.

*screech*

Alexander made Earth Eagle screech, so if Nojiko heard it, she would hopefully hear it and reveal her location.

He pushed his senses to the limit to be able to hear as much as possible.

"Alex, I'm here."

When Alexander heard Nojiko's voice faintly coming from the East, but he couldn't get her location right, her direction had at least been revealed.

Alexander immediately told Earth Eagle to fly where he heard her voice.

When Alexander came to where he heard her voice coming from, he looked around but still couldn't see anything.

"Earth Eagle, do it again, buddy."

*screech*

With that, Alexander pushed his senses to the limit.

"Alex"

This time he heard her crystal clear coming from directly below him.

He looked down to see Nojiko waving at him from the horde of people.

'How did she even get that far away?'

Alexander quickly turned off his shared senses and asked Earth Eagle to go to her, and Alexander promptly felt a strong headache attacking him, but he pushed it away for the time being.

Earth Eagle dived down towards Nojiko and the horde of running people.

Alexander quickly pushed his Observation Haki to the limit so he could grab Nojiko away rapidly from the horde.

When Earth Eagle was near Nojiko, Alexander extended his arm and grabbed Nojiko and lifted her atop of Earth Eagle.

"Earth Eagle, go up again."

*screech*

Earth Eagle screeched a little happily before going up in the air again.

When they were in the air, Alexander finally heaved a sigh in relief and turned around to talk with Nojiko.

"So Nojiko, how did your train..."

Before Alexander could even finish his sentence, he felt a punch coming straight at him.

He quickly tried to dodge the punch, but he felt his headache he had suppressed come back, so the punch landed on his head.

Nojiko: "What training you left me there without telling me anything at all."

She was furious at him for leaving her there and letting her fight all those Marines all by herself even if she kind of understood what he did and why she was still mad at him.

But when she looked towards Alexander and saw him holding his head and really seemed to be in pain.

She thought that she might have overdone it a little and took him in her embrace.

Alexander's headache becomes slightly worse when she hit him in the head.

But when he felt her hugging him, he slowly felt his headache going down.

'I don't care if the World Government will hate my existence when I'm done with this, but as long as I have her by my side, I won't be alone.'

Alexander began to laugh a little

Nojiko didn't know what he was doing; she even worried for a second that she had really overdone it this time.

But she later just shook her head and began laughing with him.
