If Alexander could, he would probably have used the News Coo to announce that he's getting a child. Of course, Alexander was also scared as he was barely 20 and had a kid coming.
His excitement held off all his fears for now, but excitement can only work for so long.
It's been two weeks since then and, the current problem is that Nojiko wants to tell her sister Nami about this development. Nojiko, of course, knows that her sister isn't dead as the world thought and, even tho Alexander has also told her that we must leave them alone for now, she still insisted.
So after a long and challenging negotiation, he got her to hold it off until they came back, which saddened her as it could take years before they came back. Alexander was also sad that he had to keep her from doing this.
In return, Alexander would take her off this island, which was easier said than done as the island wasn't as impressive as he had first thought. The problem now lies in where they should go. He had thought of going back to the bar, but he remembered that Rayleigh's on the Amazoness Island with Luffy now.
Knowing that Nojiko wanted to meet her sister, he couldn't make them travel too far from Sabaody Archipelago. Even if it's two whole years left until they return, not knowing the exact date of their return made it harder to leave the Grand Line.
--------------------------------------
Alexander had been training for the whole day with Nojiko trying to get her devil fruit powers battle-ready, but it seems like there's still a lot of development left before it looks battle-ready.
As of right now, Nojiko could easily, with a simple thought, make the nearby trees, plants, and even their roots attack me. She sometimes gets too dependent on her Devil Fruits ranged capabilities and forgets to use her fists more.
In this short time, she has been made outstanding progress being able to control so much with just a little effort.
When night came, all Alexander wanted to do was sleep, and so the first thing he did was a quick shower before jumping in bed to sleep. Just when he closed his eyes, he arrived in the darkly lit mind space.
Moments after he arrived in the mind space, a bright purple light came from one of the doors. Looking at the direction of the light, he saw that it came from Earth Eagle's door.
Arriving in front of the door, Alexander noticed the door had completely healed and was fully intact. When Alexander first saw the gate after Earth Eagle's loss against Morai, it was at the brink of collapse.
Putting his hand in the middle of the two-meter gate, it shone, and the next second he was in front of a wast sky that didn't seem to have an end, and he was standing on nothing but air.
A moment later, he heard a loud cry coming from above. Looking towards the direction of the cry, he saw Earth Eagle seemingly darting towards him with its wings folded. Just before Earth Eagle arrived in front of Alexander, it stopped as it unfolded its wings and stood proudly with its wings out in full glory.
Alexander was happy seeing Earth Eagle again after so long. The first thing Alexander did was to hug Earth Eagle. "I've missed you buddy."
A while later, Alexander left Earth Eagle's domain and went back to sleep. When he woke up, he told Nojiko he wanted to show her something, so after waking up, they went outside.
He readied Earth Eagle and launched him into the air. Moments later, Earth Eagle came out and landed in front of Nojiko. Nojiko was just as happy to see Earth Eagle as Alexander was yesterday.
With Earth Eagle back, Nojiko was ready to move out from this island, so they didn't delay any further and took anything they might need and sailed away the day after.
While sailing back, they did what they could to dodge KuraKura Island, where they fought Morai. They planned to go to Sabaody Archipelago and go from there, trying to find something in the area.
Thanks to Morai and his goon's they didn't lack money if they needed it. Alexander was still a bit afraid of going near Sabaody on the off chance they get stopped and arrested by the marines.
Arriving at Sabaody, Alexander couldn't see a single marine ship outside at all. All he saw was a lot of ships entering Sabaody, from Merchant ships to Pirates.
'Why do I always worry about things like this, I'm just glad it worked out. Let's just go southwest from here and see where it takes us.'
But before Alexander got the chance to steer southwest, Nojiko stopped him as she wanted to go into Sabaody.
"Do we need to go in there? Don't we already have everything we need?" Alexander asked.
"Of course not as we need to find clothes for the child." she said as she looked at him with a grave expression.
"You are not even going into labor until 8-9 months, so do we need to fix that stuff now?" he asked with a dumbfounded face.
Nojiko looked at him with a gaze that just made him unable to refute her wishes, so they immediately set sail towards Sabaody.
Once they tied down the boat at their dock, they walked towards the nearest shopping district.
4 hours later, they arrived at the boat again with a lot of stuff. Not all of it was kid clothes, but most of it was. Alexander swore that this was the last time he would go with Nojiko on a shopping spree for this long, even if he knew it was unlikely it wouldn't happen again.
As they were looking for things to get, they arrived at a big revelation they didn't know what gender. The gender-neutral clothes didn't look that great, so the solution was to buy for both genders.
All in all, it was worth it the moment they entered the kid's section and saw the first tiny outfit Alexander and Nojiko were so excited that they went separate ways looking for clothes.
