Ryuusaki lifted the axe with both hands and brought it down hard on a cylindrical log, splitting it cleanly in two, the cut perfectly straight and even.
"See that? You need to do it like I just did."
"You... You're just trying to make things difficult."
"That's right, I am. What are you gonna do about it?"
"I... I got it! Hmph, you jerk. I'll split the wood just like you said."
"Good. Now get to it."
With the task of chopping wood left to Ace, Ryuusaki returned to his work at the forge. As usual, he focused on crafting kitchen knives, after all, his identity was that of a blacksmith.
But by now, Ryuusaki's blacksmithing skills had reached a high level.
Among all of Ryuusaki's various skills, blacksmithing was the highest, sitting at LV93, followed by his basic physical abilities at LV74.
In other areas, there had been little progress—they were still at the same level as when he left the training base.
"This won't do," Ryuusaki mused, scratching his head. "I need to come up with a way to make better use of my time!"
As he held his hammer, a sudden thought occurred to him.
"Maybe I could refine my swordsmanship while blacksmithing?"
This idea was likely something no one had thought of before, and even if someone had, they wouldn't have been able to pull it off!
After all, there were very few who were both excellent swordsmen and skilled blacksmiths.
But Ryuusaki had a total of 339 talent points for combat-related skills!
And for life skills, he had 142 points.
Ryuusaki had a bold idea—to create a new swordsmanship style, one that could be honed through blacksmithing.
He decided to name it... **Blacksmith Swordsmanship**!
Yes, that was it!
Ryuusaki began to swing the hammer in his hand, even though he was crafting a kitchen knife, a process he was already very familiar with.
However, he started to experiment, treating the hammer in his hand as if it were a sword.
A hammer is a hammer, and a sword is a sword—these two tools are fundamentally different.
If there's any common ground, it's this:
Swinging a hammer and swinging a sword both train wrist and arm strength over time.
That's right, he would start from there!
Because he had enough talent points, maintaining his physical stamina to cover two major tasks was more than manageable, so Ryuusaki distributed his talent points accordingly.
Out of the 339 total talent points, he allocated 139 points to basic strength during the day, and the remaining 200 points to basic swordsmanship.
At night and during rest periods, he reallocated all his talent points to basic physical stamina.
Ryuusaki made full use of his talent reset system to maximize his limited time.
Inside the blacksmith shop, the sound of "ding ding ding..." echoed through the air.
Everyone who passed by thought Ryuusaki was merely working as a blacksmith, but little did they know, he was actually developing a new swordsmanship style.
As evening approached, an unexpected visitor showed up.
It was none other than Garp!
Just as Ryuusaki was about to close the shop and leave, he noticed Garp sitting on a chair at the entrance of the blacksmith shop.
"Garp-san?"
"Oh, it's you, Ryuusaki!" Garp smiled and said, "That brat Ace has already gone home!"
