Chapter 46: Buggy the Bomb!

"Seems like you gained some confidence?"

Sukuna turned around with a smile as he looked at Buggy, trying to see what made him so confident to dare come for him. Seeing nothing, he was a bit confused.

But Buggy did not respond. Instead, his eyes were open wide as he looked at him, open in shock and anger at what he had just told him.

"My Sensei?... what did you do?"

In response to Buggy's question, Sukuna giggled a bit before bursting out in full-blown laughter, his body becoming stronger as he entered Heavenly Restriction mode.

Calming down, Sukuna looked at Buggy, and he smirked as he stepped forward, his figure seemingly teleporting next to Buggy who was still in a daze.

Bang!

Sukuna punched Buggy in the stomach, Buggy opened his eyes wide as sweat slid down his brows, blood flowing out of his mouth, and his eyes bloodshot from pain.

With a thunderous bang, Buggy flew through the wall, his figure landing in the middle of the city, causing a huge crater as the people started running in fear.

The memories of the last fight between Sukuna and Crocodile quickly came back like a plague, causing people to flee in fear.

Rumble~

The ground trembled as Buggy threw a huge wall of his body, his body covered in haki-shined black, Buggy looked at Sukuna with eyes full of anger and hate.

"If a single hair of Rayleigh is hurt... YOU WILL REGRET IT!"

Buggy felt his anger shoot through the roof, not even caring about his injury, he jumped towards the castle, his haki covering his hands in dense haki.

Sukuna smirked, and he jumped to meet Buggy, with an advanced technique, Buggy used internal destruction, their fists meeting in the middle of the air like gods.

Boom!

Lightning roamed the whole city, and a huge shockwave was released as their fists clashed, the ground under them caving in from the huge shockwave.

The ground rolled back, a crater the size of a city was made, the people died, and tens of thousands died from a single clash, but Buggy was struggling, his eyes and nose started bleeding.

"Ugh!"

Buggy felt his fist go limp, the bones inside cracking as Sukuna's pure and aggressive raw power made his hand creak from the pressure, the huge shockwave rattled him hard.

"Is that all?"

Sukuna looked at Buggy, his eyes saying how disappointed he was, he finally thought he could get a challenge, but here he was, not even able to use Conqueror's coating.

Buggy opened his eyes wide, and a huge blue dome of conqueror's haki enveloped the now-destroyed city, destroying it even further as Buggy felt his mind go blank.

Sukuna looked at Buggy in surprise, and he grinned as basic armament haki covered his fist, their fist separating as a blue light coated Buggy's hand.

"not bad~"

Buggy suddenly flew towards the ground, his face caved in as another arm of Sukuna punched him in the face, with blood oozing out of his mouth and nose, Buggy fell on the ground.

Boom!

Buggy fell into the ground, his figure not stopping until he was miles underground, the earth burying him inside, millions of tons on him, the oxygen getting less and less.

With no choice, Buggy opened his palm, and the ground in front of him instantly separated into meter-sized cubes, a whole 4 miles of earth floated up, and Buggy sprang up.

Crack!

Like blue lightning, Buggy flashed past the cubes of ground, and in a second was on the surface, his eyes meeting Sukuna's, with a loud roar, Buggy used his attack.

"Split-Split! Nuclear Bomb!"

Buggy used his fruit awakening, and with all his might, he swung his fist towards the air, his observation came into action, finding the atoms and slashing towards them.

Sukuna suddenly felt his skin tremble, his eyes opened wide as a huge ball of plasma, about a mile wide appeared in the air, with all his strength, he jumped back.

"BASTARDDDDD!"

Sukuna shouted, as his body took the brunt of the huge shockwave, but the shockwave was not the real problem, it was the huge amount of heat produced, reaching the temperature of the centre of the sun.

Sukuna quickly swapped modes, his cursed energy, all of it, wrapping around his body like a red veil, and next, he used his full power to coat his body in his strongest armament Haki.

Boom!

An intense shockwave that enveloped the whole city took place, first the ground in a mile radius evaporated, then a huge shockwave reaching out towards the shore of the island took place.

As the shockwave hit Buggy, his body was flung outwards at high speed, his eyes white as his body entered a coma due to taking too much damage from the explosion.

A few minutes later, the smoke vanished, instead, it was replaced by an eerie laugh from where the explosion took place, the smoke slowly faded, showing a gruesome sight for anyone.

In a huge crater full of melted magma, on the edge of the crater, Sukuna is lying there, his lower half torn off, evaporated from the high heat of the explosion.

3 of his arms were missing, and he had burns all around his body, showing bones in some place, his mouth was open, letting out an eerie laugh as he looked at the sky.

"Bastard~"

Sukuna smirked, he could barely stay awake but he smirked as he started healing his body, his remaining amount of cursed energy coursed through his body, healing it.

First, his 3 arms were regenerated, bones, nerves, and flesh slowly regrew upon the bones, and then his burns fell off, making way for his new flesh as the burns disappeared.

Sukuna felt his lower half start healing, but it was at a much lower pace, it was so slow that it took a whole 5 minutes to even heal the wound, that is how much damage it was.

But thankfully Sukuna was fast enough to jump away from the centre of the explosion, thus only his legs below the stomach were evaporated, and thus he could still use Cursed energy.

If it was his stomach, then he would have died as he would not be able to use Cursed Energy anymore, With a groan, Sukuna stood up, gripping the edge of the crater and pulling himself up.

"Not bad Buggy, almost managed to kill me, something no other being in this world could hope to"

Sukuna sensed the location of Buggy's body, and while stumbling from side to side, his injuries though healed, left a small side effect temporarily.

Time passed, and Sukuna started getting better, his cursed energy coming back to his normal output, with this, his speed came back as well as he arrived in front of Buggy.

On the ground, Buggy lay as his body was unconscious, his internal organs injured beyond repair, showing that he was gonna die today unless God himself saved him.

"I gotta say, Buggy, out of all the enemies I fought, you came closest to killing me"

Sukuna took a deep breath, even tho he knew that Buggy could, not hear him, he was respectful as he took out his inverted spear of heaven, looking down on Buggy.

"But even you could not kill me in the end"

With a swing of his sword, Sukuna watched as Buggy's head separated from his shoulders, blood flying everywhere, and with a sigh, he put away his sword.

In the destroyed Castle of Sukuna, there were gasps and coughs as the rubles were removed from every girl by Gion, though she was quite surprised at seeing Robin and Carina.

"This bastard is at it again!"
