Chapter 94

Some girls no longer cared about being reserved and stood up to surround Carl.

Lucia approached Carl calmly, while Ginny took her place in his arms, and Gion squeezed in on the other side with her strength.

The male students at other tables saw Carl surrounded by admirers, smacked their lips, and drank. They were convinced by Carl. If they were girls, they would probably take the initiative to approach him too. After all, Carl was not only handsome but also powerful. What girl wouldn't be moved?

Carl always wore a polite smile on his face and never refused a toast. Just kidding, he was a user of the Dark-Dark Fruit, his body was darkness itself, and absorbing alcohol was child's play. He only truly drank the wine poured by Lucia and Ginny.

Ginny's alcohol tolerance was poor, before long, she collapsed in Carl's arms, talking nonsense in a daze. Even when rambling, eight out of ten sentences were about Carl. Lucia, on the other hand, had an unexpectedly high tolerance. She was quiet throughout, occasionally picking up food for Carl.

After the dinner, Carl escorted Ginny to the dormitory door and only left after watching Jessica help her inside. A few steps away, he turned around, noticing Lucia still following him.

"Lucia, why don't you go back?" Carl asked.

Lucia stroked her long black hair and replied softly, "Young Master, I want to walk with you, may I?" She lowered her head, murmuring,

"It's been so long since I've been alone with you…"

Hearing this, Carl immediately grabbed Lucia's hand and whispered,

"What's wrong with that? Everyone else is back in their dorms. Let's go sit on the training ground for a bit."

Lucia's face lit up with a bright smile as she took Carl's arm, and they walked towards the training ground together.

Upstairs, Gion rested her chin on her hand, quietly watching Carl and Lucia's departing figures. Jessica, tucking Ginny into bed, asked casually,

"Gion, what are you looking at?"

Gion shook her head and smiled,

"It's nothing. It's getting late. We should rest."

Jessica sighed, "I didn't expect Ginny's alcohol tolerance to be so low. I won't let her drink again!"

Gion glanced at the sleeping Ginny and whispered, "Yes, she should drink less."

In the training ground, beneath a large tree, Lucia knelt on the ground while Carl rested his head on her lap. Lucia gently stroked his face, her eyes filled with tenderness.

Carl, eyes closed and enjoying her touch, said,

"Lucia, from now on, you will be my adjutant."

"I will obey your orders, Young Master. I am your servant."

"Don't say that," Carl replied, opening his eyes. "I've never seen you as a servant. When we were younger, you were like my sister. Now…" He paused, gazing into her eyes,

"Now, you are my woman."

Lucia's face flushed, unable to meet Carl's gaze. She wanted to turn away, but Carl leaned in, their faces close.

"Do you disagree with what I said?" he asked softly.

Without waiting for her response, Carl kissed Lucia's tempting red lips, pushing her down gently beneath him. After a moment of shock, Lucia responded with enthusiasm, her pupils turning a strange purple hue as her powers unconsciously triggered. Black wings unfurled from her back, wrapping around them.

Under the moonlight, Lucia's wings trembled gently, shrouding them in darkness. After some time, a soft, pained groan escaped the wings, followed by hushed whispers of passion. Gradually, the feathers settled, revealing Carl and Lucia beneath.

Carl was shirtless, while Lucia's clothes were casually draped over her, her face alight with a contented smile as she nuzzled against Carl's strong chest.

Carl looked down at Lucia, teasingly saying, "It seems the angel has truly fallen."

Lucia fluttered her eyelashes and smiled shyly. "Young Master, I may be a fallen angel, but this feels like returning to heaven for me."

Carl chuckled at her words, kissed her forehead, then pulled out the Dark Bible, folding a white handkerchief and placing it inside.

Lucia's face reddened, and she buried herself in Carl's arms. "Young Master, how could you put that in the Bible? Won't we go to hell?"

Carl smirked. "What are you talking about? I think nothing is more sacred than this moment. And why would we die? Don't you want to stay with me forever?"

Lucia suddenly sat up, hugging Carl's neck tightly. "Of course, I will always be with you, Young Master. Even if we go to hell, I will stay by your side!"

Carl smiled, "We won't go to hell."

"Then I'll follow you to heaven!" Lucia said, determined.

"Heaven doesn't exist. These are things to consider after death, so we never have to think about it." Carl, with memories of Earth, knew there were ways to achieve immortality in this world.

Carl didn't elaborate further. He hugged Lucia, leaned against the tree, and pulled a cigarette from his pocket—one Zephyr had given him after a night of drinking. Now seemed the perfect time to enjoy it. He snapped his fingers, igniting the cigarette with a spark of lightning, and exhaled a heart-shaped smoke ring.

Lucia poked at the smoke ring, watching it float along her arm before drifting away.

Under the moonlight, they sat quietly together. Lucia gazed up at Carl's profile, wishing this moment could last forever.
