Takumi then called to Enel, "Set sail."

"Your taste? Please," Enel scoffed, swatting Kaku's hand away. His eyes turned towards Takumi, who stood at the bow of the ship, staring out at the sea as if deep in thought. "You sure seem to be hiding a lot of cash, Captain. I don't mind you giving money to the Revolutionary Army, but... there's something I wanted to discuss with you..."

Takumi knew exactly what Enel was getting at and immediately cut him off. "No."

Enel blinked in confusion. "I haven't even said anything yet, and you're already rejecting me? That's not fair! Whenever Long Nose asks you for something, you at least hear him out first. Why do you treat me so differently? You give him Devil Fruits, weapons, and you never hit him, but I get nothing! Nothing but beatings. I call foul!"

Kaku sighed and reminded Enel, "Careful. If you make the captain mad, you'll get another beating."

Frustrated, Enel shot back, "Just because I can't beat him doesn't mean I don't have the right to protest, does it?"

"Well, uh..." Kaku glanced at Takumi, a bit conflicted. "Captain, Enel may have a sharp tongue, but his weapon was indeed destroyed by Aokiji. "Is this the staff that Sabo mentioned before, the one with impressive strength?" Kaku asked in surprise.

Enel twirled the golden staff in his hand, finding nothing particularly special about it. "It just seems like an ordinary staff."

Takumi chuckled. "Calling the Golden Staff ordinary? You must be joking."

"Golden Staff?" Enel looked at it again, the name striking a chord. "Alright, then. What's special about this thing?"

"Just try bonding with it using blood," Takumi replied impatiently.

"Blood bonding?" Enel was even more confused.

Kaku chimed in after a moment, "I've heard of cursed weapons, but never of a weapon needing blood to bond. What will happen after?"

Takumi didn't bother explaining further. "Figure it out yourself." With that, he headed back to the ship's cabin.

Enel and Kaku exchanged glances.

Though they didn't know what would happen, they trusted that Takumi wouldn't harm them.

So, without much hesitation, Enel cut a small slit on his finger using lightning. A drop of his blood fell onto the Golden Staff and was instantly absorbed.

Meanwhile, the windless zone that Takumi had created earlier was dissipating.

The warship carrying Aokiji and Kizaru resumed its normal operation.

Although the Marines did have specially designed warships capable of traversing the Calm Belt, it just so happened that Kizaru's current vessel was an ordinary one...

"Well, this is quite troublesome," Kizaru said casually, looking toward the direction where Takumi's crew had disappeared. "How do I explain this to Sengoku?"

Aokiji waved dismissively, indifferent. "That's your problem. I was only here to support you. Whatever Sengoku wants, you'll be the one to report it."

Just as Aokiji finished, the Den Den Mushi in Kizaru's pocket began ringing.

Kizaru scratched his head as he pulled it out and answered.

Sengoku's voice came through, "Kizaru? What's the situation? Have you found Takumi's group?"

Kizaru paused briefly before replying, "Well, you see, it's quite a long story."

Sengoku, sensing something amiss, ordered, "Then make it short!"

"Oh... well," Kizaru chuckled awkwardly, "They got away."

Sengoku: "..."
